a variety of donuts in a box
    Chea L.

This was my first time here, and I could tell that it was a neighborhood favorite. As locals sat around and talked I could tell this was a good place to get coffee and a sandwich. They also offered donuts and a variety of pastries. The donuts were big and really good! I loved my Asiago bagel too!!

Strange little place with actually really good coffee and donuts. They're like half corner mart half donut shop with a little bit of sandwhich shop sprinkled in there. Their prices are super affordable, a large coffee and donut was $5!!! It's cute and small inside and very relaxing to sit and drink your coffee. Service was good too. Over all nice place.

I stopped by for a corn muffin and received 4 complimentary donut holes of various flavors which I thought was very gracious. The corn muffin was very good but I like a more crispy top which would have sent this muffin over the top. The texture of the muffin was a little to moist which kinda detracts from the solid corn flavor which I prefer. Still in all this was an above average corn muffin. The donut holes were good well cooked and flavored. This place does a very good job and is well worth a stop if you are in that area.

I'd never had an Oreo donut until today. Amazing.

This is probably the best kept secret in Newington. It's right across the street from the shell station, and is one of the best little hole in the wall's you'll ever find. I've driven past here every Saturday the last few weeks, and today I finally went inside. I will no longer be picking up Dunkin every Saturday morning, I'm going to start going here. The man who runs the place is incredibly nice, and the donuts are fantastic. Oreo donuts, Boston cream donuts, sprinkle donuts, apple fritters....all of them delicious.

So I turned the Yelp started looking at donuts spots. When perusing I saw this place had a blueberry filled doughnut, which I wanted myself. So I chose this place and it's cool cause they have a drive-through and I know that's nothing special when you're going to chain places. Most places that are not chains do not have drive-through. The blueberry diet was awesome. I got a coffee for myself and a bagel with veggie cream cheese. The bagel wasn't bad but it didn't blow me away like the blueberry doughnut. Then I got a dozen donuts and like a coffee party box that came with a ton of sugar and milk and everything you could need for a coffee station. It was a hit with the crew. My only complaint was the car that I had was a rental and it was kind of shorter so when handing the box out to me, the donut box almost spilled, and then the box with the coffee and all the accoutrements started to rip. So though the drive-through was a plus at first, it almost was the beginning to a very bad day. Trust me, I work in Paper and Paper board what you put something in is important. And there's been so many advancements in Grace barrier technology.

Boston cream stand out. While I haven't tried it myself, I know several people who rave about the Don-olli. The staff is always very friendly. It isn't huge, but there are a few tables to sit with your coffee or donut, but I have only taken mine to go. Some of the coffee drinks on the menu have caught my eye, but I have yet to try one. They have a drive-thru as well! While not a favorite, don't really have any negatives either. It is a good donut option.

Decided to hunt down a few different locations and this one popped up in the hunt. Location is a small space in a little plaza. Staff was friendly, recommended the strawberry donut. Price was 2 bucks a donut, so towards the higher side. Donut was fresh, dense with a heavy sugar shell and a strong artificial strawberry flavor. Not bad, but I prefer the lighter yeasty style donuts than the denser, sugar laden ones. As a local donut shop, it's good. The quality is there, but the donuts are not my style. They are good classic dunker style doughnuts though.

My BF got an iced coffee, which he thoroughly enjoyed. We grabbed an assortment of donuts to try, since it was our first time here. Their cinnamon rolls are huge, and it was nice and cinnamon-ey which I love. I also got the cruller to enjoy later. Now, to me, a cruller is nice and airy with a hint of crispness in the edges and a moist center. This was more like an old fashioned donut made into a twist, and it is probably one of the best old fashioned donut I have had ever! Nicely glazed, but that dough ... chef's kiss! We also grabbed their chocolate frosted and a Boston cream to share with our son. The employees are super nice and helpful. Only downside is they only serve coffee - iced or hot. I wish they had an espresso machine for lattes and cappuccinos. 4.5 stars!

Walking in, immediately greeted by the owner. The place is very much a family owned and run location. The place is smaller but lots of comfy couches and modern decorations. The menu was a mix of breakfast hits. They know they are a smaller shop, do they highlight some of the best of the best in the state. Giv coffee, Goldberg bagels, Neil's donuts, and other local shops, announced with pride and on display. I appreciate places that recognize they might not be strong on certain items do they source from those who can. I got an affogato, sausages and cheese bagel, and a few Neil's donuts. The food came out quick, took some artsy pics then dug in. The affogato had lots of pistachios, coffee was strong and ice cream was nice and sweet. Could have done without the whipped cream, but the flavors were there. The sausage egg and cheese bagel, the bagel was very good, but didn't match well with the sandwich. A very good bagel has a chewy exterior and soft interior. This bagel has that, but it wasn't a good match for the soft egg slab and sausage patty. This bagel is a very good lunch sandwich or a schmere bagel, but not the best for a sandwich. The Neil's donuts were fresh and tasty, no complaints there. Pricing was higher than expected, but the quality was there to help justify it. I may skip the donuts next time I go and swap out the bagel for a biscuit, but it's a very good breakfast spot for the area

And that adorableness comes in twenty flavor varieties - peanut butters, candies, fruits, cookies, and of course...chocolates. They cost between $1 and $1.20 each depending on the quantity you want. I bought a box of fifteen for $15. I had some time to kill before my appointment in Rocky Hill, so I also ordered a small coffee, lemon, and almond donut to enjoy on site. Now that's easier said than done because the store is small and only has a counter with two stools. Luckily, both were vacant so I settled in, drank their excellent freshly made coffee (small for $3.50) and savored my little donut treats. Indulge By Palazzo also specializes in coffees and protein shakes to help you wash down those donuts, and it looks like they are set up to sell ice cream in season. If you are a donut hound, and appreciate adorableness, indulge yourself with a visit to Palazzo and walk out with a box of their petite sweet treats.
