And that adorableness comes in twenty flavor varieties - peanut butters, candies, fruits, cookies, and of course...chocolates. They cost between $1 and $1.20 each depending on the quantity you want. I bought a box of fifteen for $15. I had some time to kill before my appointment in Rocky Hill, so I also ordered a small coffee, lemon, and almond donut to enjoy on site. Now that's easier said than done because the store is small and only has a counter with two stools. Luckily, both were vacant so I settled in, drank their excellent freshly made coffee (small for $3.50) and savored my little donut treats. Decent little donut bites Came here on a whim. Inside is a relatively small shop with a little display and lots of advertising for their catering business. We ordered a 8 pack of mini donuts and 2 protein doughnuts. The mini doughnuts came in a myriad of flavor combos. Those flavors were pronounced, the base is a cake doughnut so it's spongy but light. It's a good cake doughnut, but I'm not really a fan of cake style doughnuts. For me, cake doughnuts need to be right out the oven to be good. These were made recently, but cooled significantly and not to my preference. The protein doughnuts were dipped fresh. They were not much different in terms of consistency but it's a much denser doughnut and a bit of chew because of the protein powder. It also has the aftertaste of sunflower shells that health products tend to have. Not unpleasant, but makes it taste like standard "healthy" products It's not bad, but it's also not great. For the price is right for the quality, and it's one of the few dessert options for the area. It's worth a try if you're around or if you really like cake doughnuts, but I wouldn't trek there. read more

This was mine and my friend Victoria's second donut shop grand opening yesterday, and we were super excited to stop in and support a new local business. Victoria has been following them on insta and said we should pop in before we go shopping, and I was more than happy to oblige. It's not a super big shop, definitely a get in, grab some donuts, and be on your way, but it's absolutely adorable inside. The mini donuts are bite size and super yummy, and I'll most definitely be visiting on the reg for some and their locally brewed coffee. It's a little hard to hear because of the blenders going and everyone wearing masks, so be prepared to raise your voice an octave or two. I lucked out and got there as Nicole was decorating a fresh batch of protein doughnuts, so I had her pick a mix for me and they did not disappoint! Convenient location on the Silas Deane Highway, and plenty of parking spots to choose from. The inside is spotless and social distancing is enforced, so bonus points for that. Wow! This is my 100th review on Yelp! I came to Indulge by Palazzo after the gym last Sunday. I heard about their mini donuts that are packed with protein. You know what- they are delicious! Three mini donuts can have less that 190 calories and 10-11 grams of protein. With flavors like Chocolate Peanut Butter, Almond Joy, Oreo, Funfetti and Salted Caramel- how can you go wrong? The Almond Joy is my favorite. I have tried them all now. I have to give their smoothies a try next. It is only ten minutes away from the gym...lol You can order Mama's 1/2 Dozen- 8 mini protein donuts for $7 or order a Mama's Dozen-15 mini protein donuts for $15. I went with the Mama's Dozen and they lasted me a few days. They also come in a such a cool, sleek, white box. I'm thinking a small gift to someone in the future! If you're coming from Newington, just look for the signs on the right and bear to the right. Indulge is such a sweet place (pun intended)! Nicol is incredibly welcoming upon arrival. I didn't know what I wanted so she just gave me an assortment. I'm not a picky eater, but I do have preference. That said, when I ate her donuts, I enjoyed them ALL. Obviously some more than other, but they were all great! I mean... I ate all 8 within an hour. It's notnhard to see that I thoroughly enjoyed them. Most of the donuts had the same frosting, a fluff-like whipped kind of frosting. It was very sweet and worked well with the cakes donuts. I only got the regular donuts, but she said that the protein donuts can be drier (but still moist overall) and denser than the regular donuts. I'd definitely be down to go back and try those! I don't know all of the names but I got the following flavor (listed in most liked to least): 1. Cinnamon Toast Crunch: great texture contrast, cinnamon added a good depth to the sweet frosting 2. Reese's: the chocolate frosting is great! Who doesn't like choco and pb? 3. Frutti Pebbles: I just love frutti pebbles 4. Maple walnut: tastes like a pancake! 5. Oreo: I mean... There's never anything wrong with oreo 6. Momma's Choice (Italian cookie): legit tasted like an Italian cookie. I'm not a huge fan of those, but this was good. 7. Caramel pretzel: very sweet, but good. 8. Almond Joy: not a big fan of the almond extract, but the coconut and choco cake donut were good 9. Simple frosted: good but lacked diversity Finally, I also got the chocolate peanut butter smoothie. It was a good smoothie but nothing to write home about. I'd get it again if I was already there, but wouldn't make a stop for it. I like my smoothies thicker, maybe adding banana would've help... Either way, good, not great. I finished it all though! We came here in the hopes of having something that we could enjoy while being macro-conscious.... this didn't fit the bill for us. The shop is small but clean and cute. The girl behind the counter was helpful and definitely passionate about her business! Where this fell flat for us is the price. 15 mini protein donuts is $15. You can eat one in 1 1/2 bites. I don't doubt that the ingredients are more expensive than for regular donuts, but even those at $15 for 12 doesn't cut it for me (this of course is compared to a family owned donut shop where a dozen is less than $15). The flavor is ok, but nothing to write home about. The toppings are traditional yet minimal. For us, we'll save our macros for the real deal. read more

I walked in and first thing I see is the cutest baby in the world. 5 *'s just for that but the service knocked it right out of the park. The baby was a customers btw! The guy at register welcomed me and offered some suggestions since it was my first time. I got the pb&j shake and a dozen protein donuts for myself and some for my personal trainer. The shake was great and really filling but it was the donuts that brought me into a happy jiggle. They're tiny but boy do they pack a flavor punch! The fruity pebbles was my fav but there was not one flavor that I even sort of wasn't feeling. I dropped to my trainer and she texted that they "were freaking delicious" The fact they are this good and that low cal/high protein/low carb is unbelievable to me. I really hate to leave just one star but I just really did not enjoy the protein shake or the donuts. First, the protein shake wasn't thick and more of a watered down shake. Second, the shake it itself tasted horrible. My husband and I got the mocha protein shake and it tasted bitter and like a black coffee with no sweetener. Third, the donuts were meh, nothing great. The texture is like a dry cake, but at least the toppings were tasty. Lastly, my customer service experience was not good either, the girl barely greeted us, didn't smile and acted like we were a bother. Great experience at the opening for Indulge by Palazzo! They were fast and the donuts were popping out fresh. It did seem to be pretty busy in the back and there wasn't a ton of social distancing, but it was still a great experience. I can imagine this won't be as much of an issue going forward, but probably had all staff on deck for the opening. I do have to say that the toppings of the donuts tasted better than the donuts themselves and added a nice texture/flavor profile to them. The frosting was out of this world delicious and creamy, so compliments to whoever created the recipes for them ! I'd love to stop in again and try the protein donuts or a smoothie.
