Anyway, here's the shocking news: (2) Grilled Cheese = $23.90, No Fries, $2.00 for tomato, $4.00 for Bacon, $7.95 for the Tater Tots: Subtotal = $37.85 (for two grilled cheese!!!) Then TAX = $2.78, Tip = $7.57, then the killer: 5% or $1.89 for To-Go Supplies = plastic utensils & ketchup packets. TOTAL WAS $50.09 !!! I think I was figuring on about $23-$25 for the whole shebang. Welcome to Joey's World. Food was good and service excellent but To-Go Supplies??? REALLY?

It came as three perfectly made chocolate crepes filled with a rich, smooth Dubai pistachio filling, and it was hands down the best crepe I've ever had. The balance of flavors was spot on: indulgent and chocolatey without being overly sweet, and the pistachio filling added such a unique touch. You can really tell how much care goes into both the ingredients and the preparation. This is the kind of dish that sticks with you long after you've finished it. If you ever see the Dubai crepe on the specials board, do yourself a favor and order it -- you won't regret it.

We both ordered the veggie omelet which came with country potatoes and toast- we both had rye. All of it was hot and delicious! I had really wanted to try the poutine but I am a vegetarian and sadly, they don't offer it with a mushroom gravy, which I found at two poutine places in Quebec City. I guess there are not enough vegetarians asking for it around here. I gotta say it was super loud in here as the place was packed with a large group. I enjoy a lively atmosphere but it was just too much. I found myself wanting to rush to get out of there as the noise was overwhelming while eating breakfast. I prefer to ease into my day. It was absolutely perfect here. 10/10 poutine, felt like I was back home in Canada again I was so happy I could have cried. Will be coming back 100%. If you're looking for a true authentic poutine in CT, this is the only place to go. Service was excellent and quick too!
