Oh my goodness. For those who have settled for Pizza Hut, Papa John's, Little Caesar's, etc it's time to waken your tastebuds. I never found a good pizza in my 20 years living in Texas. I struggle to find anything decent in Italian food in Southern Indiana. But here-in little 'ol Plainville I hit the jackpot. D'Marie's is a treasure. Fried clams as an appetizer. Perfectly fried, crunchy on the outside-chewy inside. I didn't even let the lack of cocktail sauce spoil those golden goodies. Now, let's talk pizza. We ordered a medium. Most places would have called it a large. It was served piping hot. Cheese still molten, sauce keeping the cheese & toppings moist. Grab a slice and watch the mozzarella "stretch" like a spiders web. Careful, you may burn the roof of your mouth. The pie was packed with sausage, mushrooms and hamburger. Just perfect. Our waitress was constantly refilling my soft drink- never had to ask. She was always johnny on the spot. I don't get to Plainville often, but believe me, if I'm ever back in the area, D'Marie's is worth the drive. read more

Decided to order D'Marie's through the slice app. Fifteen minutes late from the original delivery time range but the timing kept updating so I was good with that. No points off there and the driver was friendly on arrival. Order consisted of two grinders, a cheeseburg and a chicken Caesar. Both grinders were tasty but so poorly put together it was not enjoyable to eat at all. Both were falling apart on arrival and overly wet. That being said, the food tasted fresh and the burgers were some of the best I've had from the seemingly hundreds of copycat pizza restaurants in and around the area. We also ordered the french fries which were talked up about on the slice app with how tasty they are. Mozz Sticks and chicken fingers made it to the order as well. French Fries were basic b*tch french fries. Nothing special about them in the least. Mozz Sticks were fantastic actually and great tasting sauce. Chicken Fingers were some of the best I've had from a pizza place. Tasty, great crispy exterior and juicy inside. Overall just a great chicken finger. Prices are good compared to other similar establishments. The whole order ran roughly $75 delivered with tip. I'll order from here again for sure. I'd like to try a few other things on the menu. I'd be hesitant to order another grinder from there but probably will anyway because I want to try the chicken parm. I say try it! read more

I met some friends here for a Christmas get-together/ brunch. They don't serve alcohol but we were able to bring our own champagne (or whatever the cheap stuff is called) and ordered OJ for mimosas. Our waitress charged for a small oj but put in a large glass to allow room for the champagne. We were waiting for another friend to arrive so we took a while before ordering. We never felt rushed at all. I don't order breakfast often so I decided to go all out with the strawberry banana french toast. Omg it was perfect. After eating, we stayed and chatted for a while and opened some Christmas presents...again, we were not rushed at all. (The restaurant wasn't very busy by that time or we would have left sooner). We have loved D'Marie's since they opened. Maria, Freddy, and their children are such amazing people. My kiddo especially enjoys their BBQ chicken pizza. The chicken is SO fresh and delicious. It's not dry like some other locations. My husband and I always special order a grilled chicken grinder to share. It's perfect every time. My husband and I recently went in for their breakfast and were honestly shocked. My husband ordered the western on a crossiant with corned beef hash and I ordered the short stack pancakes with apple cinnamon. Absolutely delicious! Tina who served us is so kind and holds a wonderful conversation. We will definitely be going back. They have completely redone their restaurant to a beautiful clean and stylish look. Ordered a pizza for delivery. For me toppings ate toppings. Not much you can do to mess up mozzarella, pepperoni, peppers etc... so it's about the crust. And that's where they failed on my opinion. The edges were hard and crisp with little flavor. The center was not as firm and more soggy. It was ok...but certainly nothing I would order again. $30 including the tio for 1 large mediocre pizza is a lot. Dominoes is better at half the price and I'm not a huge fan of Dominoes either. I have not tried the rest of there food or eaten at there restaurant so I don't want to completely dismiss, but it's the last pizza I ever get there. read more

I ordered a pizza for my daughter son and a friend for delivery. 30 minutes after it should have been delivered (the online google site said delivery was available and they asked for my "shipping address" and for a tip during the ordering process) I called to be told they don't have a driver and haven't for sometime. I then explained that I was not able to take all 3 kids out at that time to drive to their location and asked for a refund. Not only was I denied the refund the tone of the OWNER on the phone was down right rude. I 100% understand being limited in staffing and resources but to keep my money INCLUDING A TIP with no food provided is unbelievable. D'Maries is our favorite lunch spot in Plainville. The pizza is yummy with a nice crispy crust and gooey cheese. We've had lots of wraps and grinders, including chicken breast, breaded chicken, blt, burger, chicken parm, steak and cheese- all great. My favorite is the meatball grinder with peppers and onions. The french fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The staff is very friendly and we will keep coming back to D'Maries to support this great family run business! read more

Honestly don't know why people think this place is so great. Waited over 1 1/2 hours for our food and every time we tried calling the line was busy. When the food came, the pizza was not only cold, but the toppings were wrong. The pastrami in the grinder was as hard as leather, couldn't even bite through it. To top it all off, the rice pudding they gave us was semi frozen. Absolutely excellent! We ordered several pizzas for my son's first birthday party including gluten free which I requested last minute, and everything was beyond amazing. I called a few days ahead to order, and they helped me calculate what I would need to order based on the number of guests we had. It's been my experience that when ordering on busy times like a Sat. evening the pizza is sometimes overcooked and dry. I think there is some distraction when taking phone orders and watching the oven. But definitely worth trying ! read more
