Pre father's day celebration. The kids and their kids came over to celebrate. Good food. Big large pizzas. Took me back $40 pre-tax. They had it ready on-time. I picked up the pizza. Nice place. Plenty of parking. I'll have to come back and actually sit down there to complete my experience concerning the service. Otherwise everything was great. And it's really close to where I live. read more

Very home style vibe. A comfortable place to stop in and grab a bite but what really stands out is the freshness. VERY well done.

We came here late nite w. The family! Xmas shopping will do that to you! Super accommodating!! Very comfortable seating! We had 3 under 3 with us, if ur a parent/caretaker u understand how kids will have ants in their pants!! Staff told us about a cool Plainville Pizza Wars they have every year! Oh my goodness. For those who have settled for Pizza Hut, Papa John's, Little Caesar's, etc it's time to waken your tastebuds. I never found a good pizza in my 20 years living in Texas. I struggle to find anything decent in Italian food in Southern Indiana. But here-in little 'ol Plainville I hit the jackpot. D'Marie's is a treasure. Fried clams as an appetizer. Perfectly fried, crunchy on the outside-chewy inside. I didn't even let the lack of cocktail sauce spoil those golden goodies. Now, let's talk pizza. We ordered a medium. Most places would have called it a large. It was served piping hot. Cheese still molten, sauce keeping the cheese & toppings moist. Grab a slice and watch the mozzarella "stretch" like a spiders web. Careful, you may burn the roof of your mouth. The pie was packed with sausage, mushrooms and hamburger. Just perfect. Our waitress was constantly refilling my soft drink- never had to ask. She was always johnny on the spot. I don't get to Plainville often, but believe me, if I'm ever back in the area, D'Marie's is worth the drive. read more

Literally the sweetest people ever, the salad is so amazing and the prices are so affordable and the food is such great quality. great staff and service. Will order again!! read more

Decided to order D'Marie's through the slice app. Fifteen minutes late from the original delivery time range but the timing kept updating so I was good with that. No points off there and the driver was friendly on arrival. Order consisted of two grinders, a cheeseburg and a chicken Caesar. Both grinders were tasty but so poorly put together it was not enjoyable to eat at all. Both were falling apart on arrival and overly wet. That being said, the food tasted fresh and the burgers were some of the best I've had from the seemingly hundreds of copycat pizza restaurants in and around the area. We also ordered the french fries which were talked up about on the slice app with how tasty they are. Mozz Sticks and chicken fingers made it to the order as well. French Fries were basic b*tch french fries. Nothing special about them in the least. Mozz Sticks were fantastic actually and great tasting sauce. Chicken Fingers were some of the best I've had from a pizza place. Tasty, great crispy exterior and juicy inside. Overall just a great chicken finger. Prices are good compared to other similar establishments. The whole order ran roughly $75 delivered with tip. I'll order from here again for sure. I'd like to try a few other things on the menu. I'd be hesitant to order another grinder from there but probably will anyway because I want to try the chicken parm. I say try it! read more

Love the veggie pizza. Really great atmosphere here too! I will have to try some different items next trip.

Best pizza in town hands down, a true culinary gem. Freddie is a master of his craft, elevating the pizza experience. We do mostly delivery and Maria is an exceptional driver, always pleasant and remarkably attentive to detail, even remembering our dog's names. Their restaurant is also warm and inviting. Great place to enjoy a family meal. read more

food was terrible. had to call back because part of my order was missing. which they could have kept because it was just as bad. will not be ordering again. 20.00 THROWN IN THE GARBAGE. read more

I met some friends here for a Christmas get-together/ brunch. They don't serve alcohol but we were able to bring our own champagne (or whatever the cheap stuff is called) and ordered OJ for mimosas. Our waitress charged for a small oj but put in a large glass to allow room for the champagne. We were waiting for another friend to arrive so we took a while before ordering. We never felt rushed at all. I don't order breakfast often so I decided to go all out with the strawberry banana french toast. Omg it was perfect. After eating, we stayed and chatted for a while and opened some Christmas presents...again, we were not rushed at all. (The restaurant wasn't very busy by that time or we would have left sooner). The staff was very friendly and prompt. The restaurant was clean and everyone enjoyed their food. Will definitely be back read more

I had this pizza place for the last day of school and they delivered one of the best pizza spots I've ever had!

Hands down my favorite pizza place in town. I've had family from other towns (and states!) try this pizza and they all rave over it. Delivery drivers are always so friendly. Don't look elsewhere, this will be your new favorite! read more

Placed an order and waited almost 2 hours for the food to get delivered cold and not complete (missing fries that was part of a club sandwich) 2nd incident since they changed locations recently and as a loyal customer it's sad to say that this place is starting to go down hill and I won't be going back, go at your own risk read more

Great burgers of all things for an Italian place! Pizza is just okay. Grinders are really good.

The house special pizza from D'Marie's is a serious contender in a town full of pizza shops. This pie comes with sausage, hamburger, pepperoni, onion, mushrooms, peppers, and anchovies if you're feeling adventurous. The crust is hearty and tasty, and there's just the right amount of a delicious cheese blend bringing it all together over super yummy sauce. Look out Plainville pizza joints, you've got some competition! This spot just opened recently, and they are working on getting their decor game on. There's plenty of spots to grab a slice or a full dinner - they offer pizza, pasta, wings, appetizers, fried dinners, wraps, burgers, grinders and more. Don't skip the dessert! The rice pudding was a wonderfully cool but not too sweet finish. BYOB is encouraged - or better yet, support another local establishment by having a few across the street at Central Cafe. There is a parking lot out back, or street parking out front. Debit cards are accepted. Swing on down, you won't be disappointed! Best pizza we have had in a very long time. read more

Good pizza for plainville, ct.. ordered steak and cheese last time and they didn't get the order right.. ordered another steak and cheese this time, plain no mushrooms peppers or onions and it taste like it was fried in all that.. been pretty impressed with this place but not the last two times ordered. I hope they get it together because they are capable of being good . read more

Good food, service and prices. I usually order delivery, my order has always been accurate and portion sizes decent.

One of my favorite local restaurants! I've had much of the wonderful variety on the menu, from burgers, grinders, pizza, even their breakfast and it has yet to disappoint! The servers are incredibly friendly and enjoy a friendly conversation. Highly recommend for any local or those simply looking for a great meal. read more

We have loved D'Marie's since they opened. Maria, Freddy, and their children are such amazing people. My kiddo especially enjoys their BBQ chicken pizza. The chicken is SO fresh and delicious. It's not dry like some other locations. My husband and I always special order a grilled chicken grinder to share. It's perfect every time. My husband and I recently went in for their breakfast and were honestly shocked. My husband ordered the western on a crossiant with corned beef hash and I ordered the short stack pancakes with apple cinnamon. Absolutely delicious! Tina who served us is so kind and holds a wonderful conversation. We will definitely be going back. They have completely redone their restaurant to a beautiful clean and stylish look. New paint, tables, floors, and decorations. I LOVE our town for how amazing the people AND food are here. D'Marie's is NOT just a pizza place. read more

Ordered a pizza for delivery. For me toppings ate toppings. Not much you can do to mess up mozzarella, pepperoni, peppers etc... so it's about the crust. And that's where they failed on my opinion. The edges were hard and crisp with little flavor. The center was not as firm and more soggy. It was ok...but certainly nothing I would order again. $30 including the tio for 1 large mediocre pizza is a lot. Dominoes is better at half the price and I'm not a huge fan of Dominoes either. I have not tried the rest of there food or eaten at there restaurant so I don't want to completely dismiss, but it's the last pizza I ever get there. read more

D'Maries has decent pizza. I've ordered several times and very satisfied with food. Pizza is a thicker crust- not New Haven style but not deep dish either. Always baked perfectly. Grinders are good. The best is food is always consistent. read more

I accidentally ordered at this out of state location. I added a tip and paid for delivery. I admitted my error and did not ask for a full refund. They would not even refund my tip and delivery fee. Horrible customer service. I lost almost $40. read more

I ordered a pizza for my daughter son and a friend for delivery. 30 minutes after it should have been delivered (the online google site said delivery was available and they asked for my "shipping address" and for a tip during the ordering process) I called to be told they don't have a driver and haven't for sometime. I then explained that I was not able to take all 3 kids out at that time to drive to their location and asked for a refund. Not only was I denied the refund the tone of the OWNER on the phone was down right rude. I 100% understand being limited in staffing and resources but to keep my money INCLUDING A TIP with no food provided is unbelievable. A terrible way to do business in a town FULL of family ran pizza restaurants! read more

D'Maries is our favorite lunch spot in Plainville. The pizza is yummy with a nice crispy crust and gooey cheese. We've had lots of wraps and grinders, including chicken breast, breaded chicken, blt, burger, chicken parm, steak and cheese- all great. My favorite is the meatball grinder with peppers and onions. The french fries are crispy on the outside and soft on the inside. The staff is very friendly and we will keep coming back to D'Maries to support this great family run business! read more

Our new favorite pizza place in town! The eggplant and sausage was excellent. Highly recommend

Second time ordering from here and everything we have ordered has been awesome!! Tonight we ordered a Ham and Cheese grinder and a pizza with sausage, onions and red roasted peppers, the grinder was the best grinder I had in a long time and my husband said they have the best pizza in town!! The delivery was fast! read more

Love the pizza! And they load the toppings. One of the best around. And the rice pudding they give you is just amazing!!

We tried the pizza at this place for the first time. The pizza was amazing! The right amount of crisp to the crust. Not greasy at all, even with it being a pepperoni pizza. Just the right amount of sauce and cheese. This place is a hidden gem. Do yourself a favor and give them a try. You won't be disappointed. read more

The food is okay. But experience is also important. The prices they post on their web site don't always match up to what you will get charged. When I pointed this out, they didn't care and still charged me their in-store pricing. It was my second time trying them out and it will now be my last. It was only a few dollars, but there are 13 other pizza restaurants in Plainville and I prefer to go someplace where they don't use bait and switch pricing practices. read more

Honestly don't know why people think this place is so great. Waited over 1 1/2 hours for our food and every time we tried calling the line was busy. When the food came, the pizza was not only cold, but the toppings were wrong. The pastrami in the grinder was as hard as leather, couldn't even bite through it. To top it all off, the rice pudding they gave us was semi frozen. This place is not any different than every other pizza place in Plainville, only worse because they take forever to deliver your food. Definitely not ordering again. read more

Absolutely excellent! We ordered several pizzas for my son's first birthday party including gluten free which I requested last minute, and everything was beyond amazing. I called a few days ahead to order, and they helped me calculate what I would need to order based on the number of guests we had. They estimated to a T...we ended up with leftovers, but, just enough to accommodate for the few that didn't RSVP and showed up to celebrate! Thank you for the wonderful service, and excellent pizza! I just wish we had ordered an extra clams casino ;) read more

Just had the turkey club. Very full plate and very tasty! Very well done. Also had the coleslaw ... ACTUALLY INCREDIBLE!!!! Nobody usually eats the coleslaw ... this one was very good. Next time I'll specifically place an order for extra coleslaw ... its that good!! Danielle and Freddy, the owners, are very passionate about this business. Great service, great food, great experience!!! I plan on stopping in more often. My new favorite spot. read more

D'Maries does a pretty good job ! Steak Grinder is awesome. Their pizza is very good MOST of the time. It's been my experience that when ordering on busy times like a Sat. evening the pizza is sometimes overcooked and dry. I think there is some distraction when taking phone orders and watching the oven. But definitely worth trying ! read more
