Takeout Review: We've been looking forward to trying this place out and supporting our local eateries. We ordered a small meat lovers pizza (meatball, bacon, sausage, pepperoni, and ham) and it was delicious; only criticism was, small was the size of a personal pizza for $13, which we didn't expect. I also had the meatball with cheese/peppers/onions grinder; the meatball was sliced which was a nice touch. I wasn't a fan of the bread, the bread and meat ratio didn't add up and the flavor overall was just okay. Next time, I'll just stick to the pizzas; their large pizzas were $23, kind of pricey. Overall, a decent pizza spot if you're close by. read more

Good authentic Greek style pizza. Good service. On street parking can be hit or miss.

The original in Winsted is still the best but I found their pizza and grinders close but no cigar. Still a good place for Collinsville to make their own. read more

The owners are nice. Their take out is efficient. The prices are reasonable. But they don't know how to make a TRUE pizza Margherita: tomato SAUCE, good quality EVOO, fresh BASIL, and a SLIGHTLY charred crust! Theirs had slices of unripe tomato, dried oregano instead of basil, way too much garlic, and a terrible (boring) crust. Very disappointing, we couldn't finish it, no more! read more

This is my family's favorite Greek style pizza, very consistent and the owners are always friendly. Their crust and sauce is very good and I like the ratio to cheese, I personally hate too much or two little but they put the right amount. Fresh ingredients for veggies and their sausage is excellent. Very frequent customers and I don't mind driving out the way for the quality! Mostly do take out but my folks love dining in. read more

Can't go wrong with traditional mom and pop greasy spoon pizza that seeps through the box with all that sauceyness. I now go for the grinders (hot roast beef or meatball). Otherwise a couple pies is an easy way to please a crowd. read more

Brought a group of 6 here yesterday for lunch and we all enjoyed what we had. Three of us ordered the spinach pie that tasted homemade. the owners are from Ecuador and even have a few Ecuadorian items on the menu which sounded tasty. They were very nice and accommodating people. the salads were tasty and a good size! prices are great. Could become a regular spot for takeout or a weekend night with the family. read more

Family owned and they love their customers. Their pizza is a greek style, they will cut it pie style or traditional squares. Its always fresh , light and not to greasy. The family that runs this place is the friendliest and hardest working crew of just about any place in the area. You will never get bad attitude in this place they are always genuinely glad to see you walk in the door. We have never gotten anything but pizza here but it is my favorite for no cook friday nights. Set in "downtown" Collinsville adds a quaintness to this place that makes it easily to brush aside. I'll say, that's not a good idea though. Inside is what you've seen in pizza shops for about the past 20-30 years. When I say this is a mom and pop place, it's not just a saying, this IS mom and pop (perhaps grandma/grandpa even?) Ok ok ok, I normally (and extremely rarely) ever go into a pizza shop to sit down and eat, it's almost always take out. So. The pizza is what gets the 4 stars. It's good. It's very good actually. It's not your average greasy run of the mill. Got some great flavor, the sauce is just right. Overall, this is the better of the pies that I have had in the area. For a low price meal, the quality is great. Everything you would expect from Pizza in the name. Italian food to go, or dine in. My favorite is a toasted grinder. Slightly more expensive than places offering a $5 footlong, but much better quality. read more

ABC Pizza in Collinsville/Canton is Amazing. I've been frequenting this pizza joint as much as once a week since I was a little kid (15-20 years). The quality took a dive a few years ago but that didn't last long. For the last few years it's been better than ever and I would be crushed if this place were to close it's doors. Pizza Thursdays would have to become sushi Thursdays because no other pizza could replace what this guy can do! But if you're from Canton you probably already knew all that. read more

The current owner is extremely nice and has been with the business for as long as I can remember. Severely disappointed all around. This restaurant has changed hands since the previous reviews. It's family run, which would be great, except that the family has no idea how to run a successful and professional restaurant. We had a waitress who seemed to be the daughter of the husband and wife team behind the counter and in the kitchen. She was extremely unknowledgable about the menu items when we asked her simple questions. When I asked "can you put the sauce from the gyro on the side?", she responded with "what's a gyro", followed by "what sauce?". A gyro, a pizza, and an Equadorian dish were ordered. It took her 7-8 minutes to bring a cup of coffee, my side salad came at the same time as our meals, and she left the table without giving us silverware. We had to ask her for it, along with extra napkins, and parmesean cheese. My sauce did not come on the side of the gyro...in fact, it didn't come at all...ANOTHER trip for the waitress. The worst is yet to come. The Equadorian dish was ordered without pork, because of religious restrictions, but lo and behold, it came with ham. When we asked the waitress, she said "we put ham and pork in there, but it only says pork on the menu." We told her we couldn't have the dish because of the ham, and she had the nerve to ask WHY. I wanted to smack her for her rudeness. She did appologize for the meal, and said we could get something else no charge, so we ordered a second gyro. Both gyros were very overdone and cracked all the way down the bottom when folded. Pizza was ok...mediocre is an accurate word. She never once came back to ask how everything was, in fact, she was too busy sitting at a nearby table chatting with her friends to care. When the wife came over, she tried to defend the mistake. I finally just said "you know what? if you did this again and someone is allergic to pig products, you'd get SUED." They all just seemed completely clueless about the entire process, beginning to end, AND they charged us for the second gyro!!!!!!! A big fat ZERO was left for a tip and we will not be returning. read more

Great place for a variety of food options. Owners are very nice, friendly people and always make it a point to talk with their customers when they arrive. Food is very good, always hot (assuming you order hot food), and priced very reasonably. Contrary to most "Pizza Houses" that take Monday's off, they're open seven days. If you're going based on reviews, always pay attention to newest ones first and look for "themes" of what the compliments or complaints are. The one knock I have to mention is that parking is sometimes tough. But, that isn't something they can control as there are only so many spots available on the street. read more
