Despite mixed reviews on Yelp I decided to give it a try today and was pretty underwhelmed. I ordered fries ($6) and a Philly cheese steak pizza ($15 for a small). The Philly cheese steak pizza wasn't quite what I was expecting - generally it's a white pizza and they put red sauce on this one. The effect was that it was less "Philly cheese steak" and more "pizza with meat, peppers, and onions". With that said, judging it for what it was, it was decent. Totally edible albeit a bit overdone on the crust. Fries were fine as well. One minor complaint is that I thought they didn't give ketchup at first, but as I nibbled at the fries I found that there were ketchup packets UNDERNEATH the fries, a totally illogical decision and inexplicable design flaw. All in all it was a totally adequate lunch, but there are just way too many better pizza options in town for Vivaldi's to make it on my rotation. Tough that it's right across from E&D too which is arguably some of the better pizza in town.

We were in Avon for an appointment that went long, and we were starving when we got out. We figured we'd drive down the road and stop at whatever jumped out at us. The only requirement was I it had to be takeout. Storm Ida rains were starting, and we needed to eat en roAs we headed back toward home, I saw the Vivaldi's sign. We were both down for pizza, so we swung back and parked in the lot. I pulled up the menu and was delighted to see a BLT pizza! I love a BLT. I love a pizza. This sounded dreamy. We placed our orders and went to a craft store for some essentials for a project I had in mind. Chewed up enough time to head back and get our pies. So the BLT pizza was a great combination. The bacon was more in the form of real bacon bits (like chopped to bits), but I can see why it's more edible that way than entire strips. This way, every bite had the BLT. Anyway, it was unique and yummy!! My husband said his pepperoni pizza was also good. Tasty sauce, tasty crust. A solidly good pizza. I'd like to reserve a star til after we've eaten a couple more pies there. But it's absolutely worth it for the BLT Pizza!!

Very cute decorations with all of the staffs names on stockings.

Happy new year! This place is great! The staff is very friendly and you can tell that making customers happy is their main concern. They are always efficient, happy and polite when I come in. I'm sure covid has really effected their business but they are taking precautions with hand sanitizer on the counter, require masks for employees as well as customers, and the cooks wear gloves. Considering the quality of the food the price is very reasonable. I ordered the Hawaiian pizza (photos) and it was so tasty; the pineapple tasted so fresh! I'm so fortunate to have this place just a few minutes from home. Best meal I've had in a while. Highly recommend!

When I moved away from Downtown Bristol - I missed Vivaldi's right away - but I was SO EXCITED when I found them in Avon and in DoorDash! The pizza is soo good. It's the perfect pizza - the sauce is fresh and the cheese is really good. The garlic knots are literally insane - get them every time. My wife really enjoys the honey mustard chicken wrap - upgrade for a few bucks and get fries, pickle and coleslaw! Good value and fresh food every time!

    Four Cheese Pizza

Came here after my hairdresser recommended it on my way out of the salon, when I said I was in the mood for pizza. She told me that the four cheese pizza is to die for. Being a major cheese lover she had me intrigued, and boy was she right. Ohhhh soooo good! I got a small & it was a bit under done for my liking, as I like my pizza well done, but none the less super delicious. In addition to the pizza, I also got the small Vivaldi's salad. It had the biggest pieces of fresh mozz I have ever seen on a garden salad! Again cheese lover here...SCORE! The veggies were super fresh and crisp, just the way you like a salad to be. And it came with two complementary Garlic Knots, yum! Now the place itself isn't spectacular simply because it's not a full on restaurant. It is great for takeout as they only have one booth and a bar like window table with two chairs. I went there at about 8:45pm so not super busy, and the person behind the register was nice. I'll definitely come back as I was super pleased with the pizza and salad I received.

    Meat lovers pizza slice

The best pizza in Avon! I go for their lunch slices all the time. Also their grilled chicken salad is delicious. They use their own delivery drivers so I don't have to go through doordash. I recommend them to all my family and friends

Watery tuna, had to throw away

Food quality seemed subpar. I decided to order take out from door dash and give this place a try. The first thing I ordered was the buffalo chicken calzone. My daughter said it was very tough to chew (meat not tender at all). My wife ordered a tuna pita pocket and the tuna was runny with water (see attached pic). I ordered chicken quesadillas and the chicken was breaded (frozen patty tasting). I was disappointed that no peppers or mushrooms could be added. So a $45 lunch treat turned out to be a mistake. I would recommend they incorporate changes to improve quality of food. If the menu is too big get rid of items. Specialize in your brand!

That's because when you pull into the shopping plaza.....you don't see it. But if you circle around to the right, you'll see it on the side of the strip mall's buildings. And trust me, this spot is definitely worth hunting down to experience a standout breakfast or lunch. We walked in a little before 1:00 yesterday and found a table for two in the back left corner of the dining room, so we had a good view of the entire room. I have to tell ya, the place was packed! Breakaway closes at 3:00 every day except Sunday (2:00), and there were breakfast and lunch menus out, plus a few daily specials. My wife went with a "William's Ham Panini" ($17) with thin sliced ham, bacon, caramelized onions, cheddar and honey mustard on a grilled panini. We both were struck at how much ham was piled onto her sandwich. She had a few choices for a side dish and put her nickel down on potato salad. I went with The JT Salad ($16). The menu says it's been their "best-selling salad 25 years and counting". It was a big portion of mixed greens served with house balsamic dressing, grape tomatoes, gorgonzola cheese, and grilled chunks of teriyaki glazed chicken breast. It was stellar, with plenty of that yummy cheese and chicken. The only sour note with our lunch was a rather steep $4.25 for a glass of iced tea that was half-filled with ice. The food was very good and a decent amount of leftovers came home with us for another day. I was unexpectedly impressed by how crowded Bistro was on a random Monday. I bet you'll be too.

These days it's hard to find a cafe that isn't overpriced and better than just average. But Toasted Oat hits the high points of quality of cook on the food, even if the ingredients may not all be top notch. They have breakfast sandwiches, bowls and scrambles, as well as regular sandwiches, salads and burritos. We enjoyed the regular breakfast sandwich with spinach and cheese (subbed the meat but wish the spinach had been cooked in - $7) and the breakfast scramble which included 2 eggs, 3 veggies, cheese, protein all mixed/cut up together, as well as hash brown (didn't exactly look homemade?) and toast ($11). Everything was served in to-go containers so the looks weren't the best but makes sense given the place and that most people probably don't dine in. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. Everything takes time to come out so you know it's done to order. They also have some coffee and tea. They had a few coffee cake items in a glass display but didn't look homemade either. It feels like a cafe should have more selection of pastries but again bother me. Service was friendly and patient. The actual location isn't that great visually either. There is one longer table and a few smaller ones, but it's not a big place and not decorated to impress (fine by me!) It is located in a small nondescript plaza with an Indian market. Small parking lot. Wish this small business well!

They asked me to check out the freebies on a table on the way out, so I helped myself to a pen, a pad and a book of matches. The Eggplant Lasagna was plenty big for us to split. It had a nice blanket of mozzarella on top with lots of thinly sliced breaded eggplant, creamy ricotta, and sauce. It was very good, but I think it could have used a bit more sauce. And those macaroons? OUTSTANDING!! Very moist, very soft, very coconutty. The Bee's Knees provided us with very good quality food, a generous quantity for $14, and all things considered an excellent value.
