    The place is open

I worked 14 hours today and stopped by this subway Sunday April 21 at 7:40, 20 minutes before they closed and they said they weren't taking any more customers. How long does it take to make a sandwich? Is this common practice at this place to just close early and turn away paying customers? I guess I'll be spending my money somewhere that is willing to take it. Frustrating is an understatement.

I went to get quick take out dinner from Subway today since I was too busy to cook . Since I try loose the Coronavirus extra weight I choose subway. I ask for half tuna subway on whole wheat and small salad . She did not understand my order I have to repeat myself couple of times .She also was surprised that I wanna order salad like there was no salad on the menu.... it was her first time hearing about the salad ??? They also were were out of whole wheat bread so she make my subway on the Italian bread. The salad also did not look to fresh

Spicy nacho steak sub, stuffed with soggy Doritos and fancy feast.

I don't want to be too analytical since its Subway, but the idea of the Spicy Nacho Steak sub sounded novel; in my head. Reality set in on the first bite however as I experienced the overwhelming taste of low grade "beef", stale tasting Italian bread, and meager portions of dull tasting jalapeño and green pepper. I thought the Doritos perhaps would set the sandwich off, especially because of the texture aspect. But the fact that the Doritos were stuffed in between moist meat and vegetables then shoved in a oven, the chips came out soggy at best and hardly enjoyable. This sandwich fails miserably on all accounts. As for the other menu items, you can't make a good sandwich predicated on sparse pinches of brown lettuce and three thin slices of cold cut. It all hinges on quality product and thoughtfulness of construction, and this Subway does nothing to warrant a repeat visit.

Great staff and beautiful store! Newly remodeled location that gives it a fresh and inviting look. Food is what you can expect from Subway.

Cleanest Subway I have ever been in. Food and service fantastic. Outdoor picnic tables so we could eat with our dog. Yay!

You expect, like the other establishments in the plaza, to find a small cafe style restaurant. When you walk in, you are surprised with fun decor and spacious dining area. Everyone who has gone with me says the same thing "I would never expect it to look like this based on the outside." As for food, they have the Best Reuben sandwich in Rocky Hill. Fries are crispy and price on point. Every meal I've had there has been great! The only downside is table service during lunch is very slow. So make sure you have a full hour to burn if you go for lunch.

Secondly, the latte, cocktail & mocktail options are amazing, along with the many many options of food. I've heard that food from restaurants with large menus are mediocre...this DOES NOT apply here. My party of 2 tried breakfast & lunch options. Both were fresh & so flavorful, especially that homemade syrup I had with the French Egg Holes & Cinnamon Roll Pancakes (3). The home fries came out & were seasoned to perfection. Also, not 1 hard potato to be found. The over medium egg in my thick french toast was actually medium! And they gave me the wholes that were cut from the center of the bread. The pancakes were so fluffy & the icing delish. Tasted exactly like a cinnamon roll. We also ordered 2 different mimosas. The cranberry & the classic. Both were made crispy cold, with quality juices & came garnished. The Salted Cinnamon Mocha Latte, was velvet. It wasn't overly sweet, it wasn't watery or overly bold. I was surprised about how tall the cup was...I drank all of it. It wasn't served scorching hot, so I could sip right away. The Greek Lemon Chicken Orzo Soup was lovely. Typically, soup is watery & looks like it was the last bits, but this had chunky meat, the broth had flavor with hints of lemon. You could see the herbs. This didn't scream, I'm from a can at all. The service was also nice & the waitresses didn't mind that we couldn't make our decisions right away. She & her counterpart offered suggestions & were very kind with checking on us. At the end of the meal, we couldn't help but order some take home from the lunch menu for later. I'm already looking forward to my next visit.

I was in Rocky Hill to have the charging port on my phone replaced (separate review) and decided to eat while i waited. I had to come back for the restaurant photos after my phone was fixed. Juan was my very friendly and helpful server, and also my cook. The burger was good-sized, juicy, and delicious! Instead of french fries, I took a 'walk on the wild side' and tried the tater tots. They were really good! If you have never been to Wayback, here is my personal observation: The burgers are comparable to Five Guys. The difference: Five Guys gives you double fries and charges $8+ more. An option: Eat at Wayback and use some of the savings to upgrade your meal with one of their amazing hand-dipped milkshakes. You will thank me later!
