Quite possibly the best fast food place in Plantsville! Easy in and out for parking, clean restaurant, clean, restrooms, fast and polite service I ordered the two for seven roast beef sandwiches, and they were delicious, quickly made and ready to go. Plus I had a order of french fries that were made to order fresh chrisp hot nice ! The total bill was $10 and change. Just tried the "Limited Time" Prime Rib Cheesesteak. Supposed to be tons of prime rib with onions, peppers and provolone cheese. What I actually got: Baby Barf on a bun with no onions or peppers. The meat was one shade of grey and not very tender, considering it is supposed to be "prime rib". When we called to complain to the manager, all we got as a response was "Yeah we're out of peppers, Okay?, Bye". No sorry, no we'll take care of you next time. They didn't even bother telling us they were out of peppers when we ordered it. Avoid the Arbys in Southington, or you too can be as dissapointed as me. read more

I just pulled up to Arby's in Plantsville, CT about 15 minutes before closing. The person who answered on the drive-thru speaker had a major attitude. i placed my order then pulled up to the window to pay. The person who took my payment was very polite. Within seconds i received my order which consisted of 2/$6 roast beef and 3-piece potato cakes. The sandwiches were above room temparature and are adequate. However, after waiting so long for the return of the potatoes cakes and receive them cold is appalling! I will never return to this localtion! My $ is not valued here. read more

I never have a bad experience at this place . The food is always hot and cooked just right and they have some really nice employees working there. The waffle sweet potato fries are awesome . They are my new favorite. I usually order the Greek Gyro and its always delicious. Filled with meat and toppings its a very filling sandwich. They have good tasty seasoned curly fries (upcharge with meal) and they do have cups of cheese sauce to dip your fries in if you want . They have a coffee flavored Jamocha shake that is definitely worth trying. They menu is pretty big and choices . They sell mini sliders in all flavors, so come hungry. read more

Service speed has gone downhill lately...today it took 20 minutes at the drive thru...they screwed me out of fries (I get a 30 minute lunch, no time to go back by the time I realize this occurred) AND they conveniently "forgot" to give me a reciept, so going back another day would be useless. Never going back to this one ever. To Arbys' corporate's credit, within 5 minutes of one bitchy tweet about this atrocious experience, they're sending me a gift card for free food. I have to say I love Arby's. It's a shame there's not more in central CT. This location is always fast and food is always hot. Never have got an order wrong I've placed. Seems clean and it's always friendly staff! Imo Arby's is one of best most underrated fast food franchises out there. Tip... always ask the horse radish sauce along with Arby's sauce. I have been to many Arby's in this state. We don't go often, but, every once in awhile we enjoy an nice Arby's Roast Beef Sandwich. My husband mentioned the other day that the Fish Sandwiches looked good. Since I was going to be going right by this one yesterday I decided to stop in and surprise him. Never again. The service was horrendous, the food was the worst Arby's food we have ever had, and they never put the Fish Sandwich in the bag, which I didn't notice until I got home. Beware the ARBY'S Ripoff! I stopped going to Arby's 20 years ago after they served me grey roast beef and said it was steamed for my health from the usual rare sandwich. If I wanted grey meat I would order it that way! I decided to try their 4 cheese sandwich offering from the Arby's in Plantsville, CT. I ordered an onion ring side to go with my sandwich and found exactly 5, that's right 5 rings in a paper cup as the order! Those cost me $2.29 for the side order! Store Manager just shrugged and said that's what comes from the so called "central office". So it looks like it'll be another 20 years before I try their food again! Certainly not a happy camper. I don't suggest going here 45 minutes before they close. Apparently, it seems they had already thrown everything away, as I had to wait for 10 minutes to receive my food. The girl that took my order repeated it correctly, then I had to repeat it to the young man at the window. At this point, I was told I had ordered something I didn't by the woman who originally took my order. After waiting so long, I took my bag, and went home to eat. I found I was shorted an order of fries. I will be calling to speak about this experience. I have gone on other nights and there was an awesome woman, who is very upbeat, and polite. This location has greatly improved my opinion of Arby's as a whole. I went here with friends because it was along the way to Meriden and we were in the mood for lunch. My friends got the new, fancy looking Brown Sugar Bacon sandwiches and I got the Beef and Cheddar Classic meal with curly fries. The curly fries have always been one of my favorite items at Arby's and these were done just perfectly. The Beef and Cheddar classic was one of the best hot sandwiches I've had in a long while. I used to go to the one on the Post Road in Milford, before it turned into a Sonic and it was absolutely gross. I don't know how the quality of the food was world's different between that location and here, but it was. Not to mention the service here was infinitely better. The girl who took our order here was very sweet and helpful. There was one girl who worked the drive thru in Milford whom was probably one of the nastiest fast food workers I've ever encountered (she literally screamed at me for not having my order ready and when I asked for a moment to look at the menu), and she put me off of Arby's for quite a few years. So, congratulations, Southington Arby's, you've made a believer out of me again! read more

I once had a friend who assured me that all Arby's were bad in the South. I hope never to go to those, then... because the local few are pretty danged good! The speed of service is above average when I go. The roast beef portions on my sandwich vary a bit. I've had a few where I had more bread than meat, and others where I had a nice helping of beef. Their fries are excellent. I am a big fan of their chicken, bacon and swiss. I love their mozzarella sticks, too, but for price, they're steep. Once in a while you will get an item that has seen the fryer for just a little too long, I find. Overall, though, pretty solid. I keep going back. read more

The best Arby's. I've never seen fast food employees work so hard and consistently get orders right with the food always being hot and tasty. They are very friendly and always greet you. I still miss the one that closed in Cheshire since that's a much closer drive which I would say was equally as good as this Arby's. If you haven't tried Arby's in a while. You are missing out. They have a much larger menu with much better food. They are always adding new things to the menu. Prices are good and portions are good.Sure its unhealthy fast food.
