Jefferson Fry Co makes a great burger and fries. They have a lot of specialty fry options but I was happy when they expanded the menu to offer burgers, hotdogs, chicken sandwiches and tenders. Their burger is closer to the smash burger category and it's got great flavor, comes on a potato bun with lettuce, tomato, onion, ketchup and mayo. I usually get truffle parm fries on the side and they're perfectly seasoned and crispy every time. Love the garlic aioli that comes with the fries. They have tables where you can sit in but I'm usually doing takeout. Service has always been friendly and efficient.

You must try this place out, it's a hidden gem!!! BOGO Free fry Friday! Stopped in unknowing there was a deal going on and I wasn't dissatisfied! I ordered a basic bacon and cheese fry and the free fry was a gyro fry (each Friday is a different style). The meat was so tender and even came with fresh tzatziki sauce and the pulled pork sandwich came with coleslaw and pickles The milkshakes are a must! I was unsure of what to order bu the server suggested strawberry and Biscoff, which tasted like strawberry shortcake! There was even fresh strawberry chunks blended in the milkshake!

This restaurant is AMAZING!! If you love fries, burgers, chicken sandwiches this is the spot to go 10/10!! They have so many French fry combinations you can have that are absolutely delicious!! The burger bowl was awesome and the chicken sandwich was mouthwatering. This restaurant is an order at the front and seat yourself and the food came out in only 10 minutes!! The employee who brought our food was so kind and happy we loved the experience. There is only several tables so during busy hours it may get packed. This will definitely become a go to spot for some comfort food!

What a spot! We went to the Cromwell location. A warm and friendly staff is a clean and cozy space. We had a yummy spread of Dirty Fries: Curry Chicken, Steak and Cheese, and Fusion, Carolina Hot Dog, Mushroom Swiss Burger, Strawberry Cheesecake Milkshake, and Mocha Latte Milkshake. My husband loved the Steak and Cheese fries and I liked them all! The hot dog was good and loaded with pulled pork. The milkshakes were excellent. Definitely a spot we will return to!

I Love Jefferson Fry Company in this location is conveniently 10 minutes away from where we moved too. Right when we walked in we were greeted with a friendly "Hello" and we needed a little time to make our decisions the server even offered some suggestions. They seemed genuinely happy to help us.....now a days that is a major plus ....too many grumpy people out there. This was the first time I've tried their burgers and oh my God why did I never try them before. Fresh toppings and under $10 dollars. That burger was so good I couldn't put it down. I just had plain Bacon Cheeseburger and added pickles. My littlest got a plain Hot Dog which she happily ate and then wanted a bite of my burger.....but her sister let her take a bite of her Cheeseburger. My oldest almost never finishes anything unless it's pasta and she thoroughly enjoyed the burger even made little noises saying "Yum this is So Good!". Hubby got the JFC Which is their signature burger with 2 patties and it's also topped with fries And we all split a Truffle Parmesan Fry which is our go to. Love anything Truffle and it comes with a side of garlic sauce to dip the fries in which just puts it over the top. Delicious! All the staff was so friendly and asked if everything was okay..... Everything was perfect..... We'll be back.

Solid 4-star hot dog on both accounts (chili & taco dogs). Fast and friendly service. Lady had a burger bowl (salad w/burger contents on it) and she enjoyed it. Neither of us got fries so we can't speak to that, but they certainly looked good!

2 years later and just as great of an experience! We thought the presentations had improved from last time, particularly on the JFC burger. The staff did a great job on a busy Friday night of getting the food out quickly. A solid spot for fast casual dining, and I'll never get tired of all of those options for fries!

Staff was so nice and friendly. Garlic fries on free fryday were good and crispy, big portion too. Burger was okay but chili cheese dog had really good curry flavor.

Hey, french fry fans! This place is for you. Jefferson Fry Co. is dressing up french fries--getting them dirty and delicious. They have classic poutine and cheese & bacon fries, but they took the topping to the next level with BBQ Fries topped with pulled pork and Taco Fries. They have burgers and hot dog that are loaded up with toppings too. For your drink or dessert, they have a long list of milkshakes that can "dress it up" for $1.50. We got the Chicken Curry Fries, Fusion Fries, Portobello Burger, Cookie Butter Milkshake and Mocha Milkshake. The fries had a dark, rich and homestyle flavor. The Chicken Curry Fries had a mild and sweet curry sauce, shredded chicken, sautéed mushrooms, and diced onion. The Fusion Fries was a take on Pad Thai. These fries were topped with shredded chicken, hoisin sauce, sriracha, garlic aioli, crushed peanuts and cilantro. The Portobello Burger was a large mushroom cap, breaded, deep-fried, and a great vegetarian option! The mushroom was super juicy and the coating was crispy when you bit into it. For our milkshakes, we "dress it up." The Cookie Butter Milkshake was topped with whipped cream, caramel drizzle, crushed Biscoff cookie and a whole Biscoff cookie. The Mocha one has also topped with whipped, but had a chocolate sauce, dust of coffee bites and a piece of coffee cake. I loved my Cookie Butter shake, not too thick and creamy. The restaurant is fast-casual and the staff greeted us when we walked in. There was plenty of seating too, but I think they will be going under renovations soon. They had a large, cardboard sign that read "Coming Soon 2024." I'm curious if they will be expanding into the empty space next door. Overall, we enjoyed our meal at Jefferson Fry Co. and will likely be back again. It's a great lunch option in the area.

Just functional. I was there on an NFL Sunday. There were lots of regulars. There was good interaction with the staff. I didn't catch her name, but the woman who was the only person working the bar and waiting on the tables was amazing. She was super friendly to everyone. She hustled to meet everyone's needs. It wouldn't surprise me if she is an owner too. It's hard to find people, who aren't owners, who are that committed. I asked for a wing flavor recommendation and she said "Montreal Honey" first. I ordered 6. The wings are part-baked and then finished in a fryer. Good inner and outer texture. The Montreal Seasoning was right on. The Honey didn't have much of a presence either visually or flavor-wise. More was needed to balance the salt from the Montreal Seasoning and to justify the Honey in the name. I tried both the Blue Cheese and the Ranch. I'd recommend the Blue Cheese. I'll definitely return to try more wing flavors. I also ordered a crock of chili, which was full of ground beef and topped with melted cheddar and chopped red onions. The chili was solid. I'd probably try something else before I ordered it again though. I'm a fan of Hideaway and I'll be back. 4.25 Stars

Crispy on the outside, packed with well-seasoned chicken inside. Good spice, not overpowering. Came with a salsa and a ketchup-mayo style sauce, both worked, but the salsa had a little more life to it. Before that, warm ciabatta hit the table with a house-made dipping sauce. Oil-based with garlic, blue cheese, and a few other layers going on. The blue cheese gave it a subtle kick without taking over. Nice way to start. Now to the burger, the Luger Burger. I'm assuming it's a nod to the classic steakhouse, but didn't get full confirmation. The sauce is made in-house: slightly sweet, a little acidic (I picked up balsamic), smooth texture. It's a good sauce, it just needed a bigger voice on this burger. The burger itself is large. And I mean large. Menu said thick-cut bacon... that wasn't the case. Not a dealbreaker, but noticeable. Now I'm going to get a little critical, because this is where it matters. The burger needed more salt. There's a lot of beef here, and it can absolutely handle it. Even something as simple as salting the tomato would've helped bring things together. If the bacon had actually been thick-cut, that alone might've bridged the gap. This was a very beef-forward burger, to the point where the supporting flavors barely showed up. The patty felt a bit too tightly packed, which gave it a denser bite and let the beef dominate the whole experience. A looser grind or lighter hand forming it would've made it more tender and allowed everything else to come through. It also needed more acid. The Luger sauce was applied lightly, so either lean into it more or bring in something else, a pickle, a sharper onion, something to cut through the richness and balance it out. The bun was soft, nicely toasted, and held up well, which isn't easy with a burger this size. Fries were hand-cut, properly salted, and exactly what you want. No complaints there. Overall, this is a great spot. Clean, comfortable, nicely decorated. Staff was excellent. Food was good, with flashes of being really good. With a few small tweaks, mainly balance and execution on the burger, this could easily jump to the next level.

The manager also came by mid-meal to check on us, which I always appreciate. Now let's talk food... My 23oz porterhouse steak? AMAZING. Cooked perfectly, full of flavor, and didn't need any sauce at all. Definitely the star of the night. I also tried their "dirty soda" (strawberry coconut cream with Sprite), and it was actually really good. (well balanced and not overly sweet) The only miss for me was the loaded baked potato. I got a half block of unmelted cheddar cheese sitting on top I ended up scooping it out because I definitely prefer my cheese melted into the potato. On a positive note, our waitress made sure I got fresh (straight out of the oven) bread to take home, which I appreciated because let's be real... that bread and butter is everything.
