I am giving them 5 stars because their customer service and employees are great. Every time I visit they are courteous and super friendly. I only come here for the honey butter chicken biscuit. I have to say mighty tasty! I can not comment on anything else, as I am not one to frequent fast food joints. I only went here because a friend bought one for me and it was good. read more

This tired, well worn Wendy's location had a steady stream of customers. While traveling we stopped here for a bathroom break and a frosty. The Strawberry Swirl Frosty did not disappoint! Unfortunately the dirty bathroom did. read more

they legit scammed me I asked if they had the nugget party pack, said yes, and then proceeded to charge me for 5 individual 10 piece nuggets, never coming back to this location ever read more

There is an actual crater in the ground where the driveway should be. You will lose your vehicle in it of you dare to cross it. Two different signs on door: 1) "We have no ice. Our ice machine is broken." 2) "No Frosties at this location." No driveway. No ice. No Frosty. No Service. What a dump! read more

This is possibly the worst experience I've ever had, not only do I only have 1 burger burger in my biggie bundle, he put tomato's on it after I SPECIFICALLY asked for no tomato's read more

Took 22 minutes to get food, so not so fast food. Forgot half of my order. Would not recommend for a quick bite to eat.

Glad we went to a different location for a change. Food was better cooked. Customer service was off the charts. Awesome experience for the whole family read more

never in my life have i experienced such careless service workers. every time i go there my food is messed up. they forget drinks, sauces, make the wrong sandwich, and the list goes on. i dont care how much you get paid, you should still do your job and CARE about it. read more

The best fast food hands down. Best fries, baconator cannot be beat! The kids even like the kids meals better than the other places.

Possibly the worst drive through wait time ever. There literally should not even be a drive through at this location. Whomever is the franchise owner for this location needs to get it together and see what's going on with your employees and managers because You're losing customers and getting horrid reviews. Average wait time on a good night is about 20 minutes and that's in line parked with foot off the break waiting for the person in front of you to move but they never do. What prompted me to write this review was the fact that we decided to give it another shot after going there two other times and leaving due to the wait. Welp... this time was no different. We ended up waiting in line again and then finally got out of the line and left. Will never go there again. Horrible!!!!!!!! read more

I'm guessing the franchise owners don't ever come around, nor do the managers care. But I hope you guys read this as you are losing money on a daily basis. Your style of service is slow. I don't know if the restaurant is trying to keep "service" times low but your overall wait time is ridiculous. They choose to have people wait to take orders in the drive thru rather than stacking up orders and producing while waiting. I get it to a certain extent but if you are averaging two car orders and holding everything behind it then you are losing valuable time that could be used to take them produce the order or at least start the order while the cars ahead are being processed. I just don't get what's so difficult to understand about this logic. Look at McDonalds. You would rather stack up and start producing everything you can ASAP rather than waiting and only processing only 1-2 cars at a time from start to finish as the orders for the cars behind could be put in the system and already begin to be processed. read more

Got food from here yesterday and i started to regret it as soon as I finish. Major case of food poisoning and everything that comes with it. Either the frosty machine has bacteria or something on my burger was bad. read more

Waiting for my meal, very slow service. People leaving the drive through line to go elsewhere and people keep coming back with incorrect orders. Will not be returning to this location. read more

One of the less desirable Wendy's locations I have been to. The service is sub par, items are often out of stock, and the staff seems less experienced than other locations in the area. I have been disappointed in the quality of items that are usually quality staples at other Wendy's I regularly visit. read more

Wendy's - Bacon Portabella Melt on Brioche! Utterly disappointing. Eugh. Big mistake. - Burgers Near Me - Cromwell, Connecticut

We still frequent this Wendy's as opposed to the Middletown location on 66, even though the other one is much closer for us. For us, the food seems to be a bit fresher here. One star off from my previous review because you have to pay close attention, and I mean close attention, to what you are being charged for your order. This past visit, I had my frosty key tag and showed it to the guy (the lanky dark haired one with the glasses) to get the free frosty. He charged me TWICE for it, thinking I won't notice. When I pointed it out to him, he pretended to act like it was no big deal but corrected his mistake. So, if you go and this guy is taking orders, request for someone else to take your order. He not only tried to overcharge me, but also tried the same thing (and effectively messed up someone's order) to the two people in front of me. Food wise, another star off for the fries. They are either over salted or overcooked. It's always one or the other. The burgers though, are delicious and very juicy, not dried out like McDonald's (sorry, McDonald's). And the chicken in the sandwiches is tender and juicy, not overcooked or dried out. For that, they deserve the two stars. read more

Terrible service. They claim they are open till 1am. We were traveling back into town after vacation and were starving. It was 1248am when we pulled up. I hated to be that last minute person but we just wanted a couple of cheeseburgers. A car was in front of us for a whole and we thought they were ordering because it was so long. We pull up and wait. It's now 12:55am. No one comes. We drive around to see all the staff outside smoking cigarettes. My boyfriend asked what was going on and why the car in front of us? They replied "we didn't serve him either" which means they clearly knew they had customers and chose to sit outside and ignore them. Not even tell us they are "closed." Also, often times food is cold or they are out of something. I think it's laziness and it's no way to run a business. read more

Line was long so went inside to order if the manager hadn't stepped in unsure how long it would of been. Food was prepared correctly but store is dirty, tables, floors, doors could use janitorial service read more

Messed up my order completely and they told me they would comp it. I went in a few days later and the place was absolutely filthy. The people there seemed like they didn't care I got funny looks at the counter by the prep staff like I was making there like hard. I ordered my food fresh the second time and hoped it would be fresh as it wasn't the first and it wasn't fresh at all. I won't be coming back again read more

Went to Wendy's in Cromwell tonight for dinner..We ordered Asiago spicy chicken club sandwich and baconator fries. I had to call the restaurant to tell them it was the best food I have ever gotten from Wendys anywhere. 2 of the people working, Chris and Michael were so nice, friendly and very professional. They made it the best experience ever..highly recommend them. read more

I like and frequent this wendys. But after around 6pm one of the men at the drive through is very disrespectful. He will blatantly sigh while you order and when you get to the window he will not look at you or even say a word to you. All of the employees that work during the day are generally very nice and respectful it's just this one employee read more

One of the worst experiences I've ever had in a public place EVER. When the incapable crew makes a mistake, as a manager you're suppose to make the situation BETTER. When confronted with the error the "manager" asks if we still want the food we did not order! After saying no she proceeds to toss the change for our refund which I had to get out of my car to pick up. Even after repeating our correct order 3 more times we had to return for a complete refund because the order was STILL incorrect. The manager who helped me with my refund was the only saving grace for this hell hole. I will never be returning to this location again. read more

I used to love Wendy's but the last few times I've gone to Cromwell location have been horrible. It is on the pricier side for fast food which I don't mind paying if it's good. The manager grabbed our money and practically threw drinks, food at us than disappeared yelling at employees. No change was given,no thank you. I just drove away since it was only a few cents. Food was COLD. Cheese on burger not even melted, cold fries. The chicken didn't even look like chicken. Very surprised because the chicken is usually really good. I'm done. After a couple times like this is enough chances. read more

Slow. One sandwich maker on and the person at the register charged me for a Chicken Sandwich Meal then while waiting for my food she just gave me a chicken sandwich and I said no I had a meal and just need my fries and she wanted to charge me for the fries. im not sure whats happened to this particular franchise on west st. over the last few months its gone down to the sewer, slow service at least 3+ min in the drive thru, and to make matters worse by the time you get to the window your food isn't even fresh like they claim to be. they serve one person at a time. I use to love coming here but the lack of customer service is ridiculous! no repeating the order, no proper greeting or thank you, have a nice day, and one time I didn't get my standard receipt and when I asked for it the young girl looked at me like I had 3 heads. I will no longer be giving my business to this establishment unless they make some serious changes, I will drive out of my way to get better service , quality and decent meal. read more

I don't frequent Wendy's but I decided to go there for lunch today. I asked the order person the difference between coke no sugar and Diet Coke. She didn't know. I was subsequently told by another person there that they were not allowed to give out information like that and that I should instead look on the internet. I thought it was a fairly simple question but ok ....I will. When I received my burger it was good. I would have liked it a lot better if it hot or even warm. It was stone cold. Unfortunately when you take the bag you don't know what you are getting. I probably won't go back and take another chance. read more

If i could give no stars I would. I work all day and go to school at night. I decide id go to this Wendy's. I pulled up and all the lights are off in the parking lot and there was no one to be seen inside. Good thing McDonalds is open till when they say they are, right down the road. read more
