There was a deal going on where everything was 50% off. This was a perfect opportunity for trying out their best products! I was surprised by how good the chicken tenders were and they were huge. I would highly recommend the Greek fries. It comes with gyro meat and all the toppings that would come in a traditional gyro. This place was very good and will definitely be trying again! read more

I have come here about three times. I usually go after my hair appt at cost cutters next door. The burgers are very good and their sauces etc are good. Fries are good But greasy. They have good garlic aioli sauce. Don't care for the orange sauce much. Also reason for three stars is that I had their hot dogs for first time and it was really odd. It was Kraut Dog and it was hard and not that warm. Neither the bun was very warm either. Didn't look like the grilled it but not sure they advertised it. Tried this place for the first time. Although the place had no patrons when we went , it had a lot of seating. They have dirty fries, dirty dogs, burgers and shakes. Haven't tried everything but ordered two types of dirty fries. The curry fries Cheese and garlic fries Both taste amazing, I want to go back and try the dog. We only ordered a takeaway, and the turnaround was quick. I want to mention about the staff and the reason I have to give 4 stars. They need some training in hospitality, learn to smile and greet the customer, know about the menu. I asked which one is a good item to try they simply said 1 "everything is good". That doesn't give the customer a choice to try something special at the restaurant. Train your staff and keep making delicious food and this place will thrive. This was my third time to this location. The first time was on their soft opening - it didn't go well. The second time was a couple weeks later - it wasn't much better. However, third time is a charm. It seems that after some finagling with staffing and cook times - they have figured it out!! Granted this was during a weekday and one one other customer in the store - so not much rush or pressure. We order two burgers (Swissshroom & Bacon Cheeseburger) and one specialty fry (BBQ Fry). We ordered extra garlic aoli on the side and no mayo on the Cheeseburger. The staff was friendly and they executed our order perfectly!! The burgers were cooked perfectly, still juicy and seasoned. The fries were very well done hand cut one cook fries. The bbq pork on the fries was delicious and not over saturated with sauce. They even put the cold coleslaw on the side. I was happy surprised by my visit today and glad this this small recently opened franchise has hit their stride. We have been meaning to try this place out for a while, so glad we did! The restaurant was spotless and we sat in a comfy booth. You can get a burger, hot dog, wings or fries. We got a standard hotdog (mustard, ketchup, raw onions and relish on the side), and standard burger (American cheese, mustard and ketchup), and curry fries with chicken. The fries were a unique treat, enough curry sauce to cover the fries and chicken without drowning them and making the fries soggy. Good flavor that packed a punch with bring overpowering. Bottled sodas were good, and they also had iced teas and waters available. Prices were reasonable and the staff was warm and friendly. Yay! New place to try in my area! Had to make the trek to try the new place. Not as good as I would've hoped, sadly. The entire team was new and it showed. There was very little communication between front of house and back, which is bad because they are five feet away from each other. There was 2 instances of messed up food while we were there and it took the kitchen 10 minutes to respond because everyone was hyper focused on their specific task. Which is bad since none of them had the task to be a manager. Food was like five guys but lacking. Smashed burger with no seasoning, some fixings but sparse. Buns were potato rolls, soggy due to the burgers being placed on right of the griddle then immediately sealed in tin foil. Quality Control was non existant. Fried mushrooms were frozen and soaked in oil. Fries were cooked to crispy but not seasoned. This would be fine if they had a good amount of parmesean but they got more parsley than anything. The truffle oil also had no truffle flavor and just made the fries greasier. There's a lot of stumbling blocks with this location as of current. I would hope with time and experience this location will improve, for now though this place is a gamble. read more

I was going to the UPS store and decided to check this place out, seeing there was a free fry event. I bought a Bacon and Cheese Burger and a drink. Alongside these two, I got the free fry, which was the BBQ Fries. In a nutshell, Fries with Pork, BBQ sauce, and Coleslaw. The burger was solid. The fries, while not my favorite because I'm not a big BBQ guy, were cooked well and flavorful with the additions. Overall, a pretty solid meal. Technically this is a chain so the 4-star rule is in effect but while the reviews are all over the map they do a good job here. The few times I've been here it seems like the bulk of their orders are take out but they have some booths if you want to dine-in. Kind of a small space next to the Vernon Wing Stop but they make good use of it. Kind of a casual no-frills place with enough employees to handle the volume they do. It's mostly known for the different 'dirty fries' they offer but there are burgers, dogs and milkshakes on the menu. Since I haven't tried anything beyond the fries I may update this review if I do. For anyone that's read my reviews I'm not really a 'fries' person but the combinations they offer are unique, creative and there are plenty of them(17 including the 'naked'/plain ones). Service was quick and friendly and each time they had me out the door pretty quickly. The 'fusion' fries were an interesting try with shredded chicken, crushed peanuts and cilantro with a sauce made from hoisin, sriracha and their house-made garlic aioli. The next time I went I tried the steak and cheese fries which had plenty of toppings with the steak, cheese, onions and peppers you'd expect. The reason I'm not giving them 4 1/2 stars (or even 5) is because I think they could cook the fries a bit better. They come out a little too soft and lack the crispiness that would put them over the top with the other ingredients. Adding to that (or at least not helping) is the take-out containers they serve them in. It's kind of like a Chinese take-out quart container but it lacks the 'unfold into a plate' feature that those do, it makes it a little difficult to get a good balance of fries:toppings. It's also got a waxy coating that doesn't help the already not-as-crispy-as-they-could-be fries. So overall very good, will definitely try again and maybe see if there's a difference eating in or asking for the fries 'crispy' or well-done. Added bonus, every 'Fry Day' you get a free order of fries with purchase of an entree (and yes, most of the dirty fries count as an entree). Four stars! read more

However, the strawberry milkshake, I placed it in the refrigerator because I was still drinking the soda. When I got the shake out, it was straight up thin watery, "milk." The cashier was really personable and friendly. The food however, looked nothing like the menu. We ordered 3 burgers, 2fries and 2 milkshakes. We only got 1 fry (that was wrong) and 2 of the 3 burgers were incorrect. Before we ate, I brought it back to the counter to make sure this was ours. The mushroom burger had no mushrooms, the bacon burger had no bacon and the special jfey burger had no fries or cheese. The cashier took them back, and it took 20 minutes to get them back. Tried Jefferson Fry for the first time today. I was out running errands around Manchester & Vernon and decided to stop in. Clean fast food place. Placed my order to eat there & sat down. They brought it to me when ready - nice. I had the pesto fries. Pesto, chopped fresh tomato & a little Parmesan cheese sprinkled on top. Pretty good and a decent serving. There is no way this is a full hamburger patty. There was a lot of watery liquif in the bottom of the chicken bowl. Also, there was at best a tableappon of meat in the bowl. Very, very disappointed in the Vernon location of Jefferson Fry Company. We went there Friday night, October 14th. My husband had the Classic burger. His burger was dry and burnt. I had the Shroom burger. My burger was also burnt, and the Swiss cheese was completely burnt & crispy, utterly disgusting. We shared the Barbecue pork fries...they were okay, but not great. We took our burnt burgers back & the cook remade them, but they were extremely greasy and still somewhat overcooked. For $8.00 for a burger, I expect more than 2 tiny slices of a mushroom on my mushroom burger. We've been to the Cromwell location & the food there was very good. read more

Disappointing at best, burger was cooked beyond well done to the point of being tough and crispy and my girlfriend didn't get any of the sauces or side coleslaw she asked for. We ordered delivery from here for our first time through their website, which apparently they source out through DoorDash. For six of us to eat, it cost around $85, which is fine. However when our dasher arrived, with a tiny bag, she insisted that it was all there and that the staff at the restaurant assured her of it when she questioned the bag size as well. We open the bag and more than half of our order was missing. Between DoorDash customer service and the restaurant nobody wanted to take responsibility, nor did anyone want to send another driver. I sent my husband to go retrieve our missing food from the restaurant itself. No apologies were given whatsoever, from anyone. Next up, The matter of the food. Fries: I'll try not to sound too salty because we were already pretty upset. Speaking of salty - you'd think a fry company might actually salt their fries, but no. The fries were soggy and overall pretty gross. We tried the cheese fries, the truffle fries, the poutin, and the curry fries. ALL of the fries were somehow over cooked AND soggy. They were warm, but basically tuned to mush. Also, none of the fries were seasoned with salt. The cheese fries were barely edible. They were so soggy and greasy that the cheese actually separated into globs of oil and grainy cheese. Also - zero flavor. Next up, the poutin. It was really flavorless gravy (think: gravy from a can) with cheese curds that were not actual cheese curds. Maybe mozzarella balls? The curry fries were interesting, and might have been tasty if not for the Soggy mess. I didn't hate them. The truffle fries were the best of the bunch, but again, zero salt, and mushy. Kids meals: We got two chicken tender kids meals. They came with two tenders each, and a pretty big portion of fries. The kids said the tenders were fine, and based on the chicken sandwiches (below) I've taken their word for it. Their fries, like the others, were bland, soggy and an overall let down. Sandwiches: We also tried the spicy grilled chicken sandwich and the spicy fried hot honey sandwich. They were decent. The spice was a nice slow burn, with a good hearty bun. If not for the other shenanigans I might've considered returning for this sandwich, but alas these sandwiches weren't enough to make us return.
