They serve coffees, teas, hot chocolates and smoothies. Also on display are their deserts such as cookies and scones. I ordered the black iced peach tea with a sausage egg and cheese. She had ordered a coffee with a bacon egg and cheese. She said she loves the soft bread they have for the sandwiches. Which they did not disappoint. I really enjoyed what I ordered. If you find a seat they will bring the breakfast to you after you order at the counter. The staff was friendly and quick. It is a really quiet spot in the middle of town. You do have to pay to park. I also got a scone that I had later one which was really good as well!

And its almost a pass through to a main street. Employees were patient with us while we took a little time to decide on what to order. My main reason for stopping in was an iced coffee. They have many syrup and milk options. I decided on a brown sugar cinnamon iced coffee with half and half. Too much half and half was added to my drink. My iced coffee still tasted good. Onto the food - I chose a breakfast wrap, and my husband the hot honey chicken sandwich. My breakfast wrap was sausage, egg, and cheese. The wrap came with avocado which I dont like. The women at the register offered me a hash brown instead which worked great. Between the iced coffee and the wrap it was a hearty breakfast. My husband enjoyed the hot honey on his sandwich. And was surprised he liked the bun. Crumbs is small on the inside. So its not the spot for a group. However You and a Friend, or You and Your Sister can hang out for a while.

"Heart made of glass, my mind of stone Isn't it lovely, all…read morealone?" (Billie Eilish) I was thinking about what word best describes this morning's breakfast at the Village Market & Cafe. The best word I can come up with is "lovely". Everything was lovely -the dining room, decorations, the craft goods and pricing from local artisans, the pricing, choices, quality and quantity of the foods, and especially the service and hospitality. If you want an overall lovely vibe and experience, you really need to visit. Their menu board is divided into two sections, with breakfast on the left and lunch on the right. We were there in the morning, so with breakfast on our minds we checked out the left board and saw breakfast sandwiches, bagels, a kid's menu, and a potato patty side. My wife ordered a single egg sandwich on an English Muffin ($4) with bacon ($1) and a potato patty side ($1). Now those are very reasonable prices, so I really don't agree with some of the price bashing I've seen on this page. I ordered what turned out to be one of the very best breakfast sandwiches I've had in months. My Breakfast BLT was a feast of toasted rye bread, lettuce, tomato, bacon, cheese, and two fried eggs. It kept me full for half the day, and at $10.50 was worth every penny. Village Market's coffees are sourced from "Those Guys Coffee Company" out of New Hartford. Our coffee was excellent ($3 for a 12-ounce cup). Oh, and there is one more reason why our visit was lovely - our conversations and interactions with Evelyn. She and her daughter are owners, and she was super friendly, and just a real pleasure to meet and chat with. And to add one more reason to visit is this -they also sell ice cream! This was an easy FIVE STARS for all of the lovely features of this lovely spot.

"I don't remember what day it was I didn't notice what time…read moreit was" (Spiral Starecase) No, I don't remember what day it was or where it was, but I know it was at a Yelp Elite function. One of my friends asked me (quite earnestly) if I had ever been to the Community Room Cafe for breakfast because "it's really great". Well, we went there today and I sincerely want to thank that unknown Yelper because the Community Room Café is excellent. We found it in the Constitution Square retail area bounded by Cedar St., E. Main St., Market Sq and Lowrey Place in the center of Newington, CT. Parking is plentiful in the Square's large parking lot. Their space is amazing -big, cheerful, inviting, comfortable, colorful (plenty of orange and black). There are plenty of various seating options in the form of couches, upholstered chairs, table/chair groupings, and counter-style seats by the windows. We saw a few medium sized groups gabbing away at the upholstered seat area and a few industrious folks clattering away on their laptops. We each went with an Avocado Toast (@ $9) with mashed avocado, diced egg, diced tomato, bacon crumbles, cilantro, and Everything bagel seasoning blanketing a big slice of toasted rye. Seriously, one of the best breakfasts we had this year. I went with a small cold brew coffee and a shot of sugar-free caramel ($4.25) while my wife went with a small light roast coffee ($3). We loved everything about the Community Room Café- the food, the vibe, the décor, the service.... Everything. PRO TIPS Their WIFI password is (one word all CAPS) ILOVEMY COFFEE They have a meeting room available to rent for $50/hour during business hours and $100/hour during non-business hours.

Their mission is imbued in their staff, products, how they set up their space, and how you order. We came here for breakfast on a weekday and had a lovely experience. They have breakfast and lunch cafe menus (+catering), yummy pastries (cookies, muffins and scones) and various coffees and drinks. We enjoyed the omelette (if you order more than 3 ingredients there's a charge) and the village breakfast which was eggs, potatoes (slightly blackened), sourdough toast (or wheat) and bacon. Prices are fairly standard ($11-14) and portions not very large. The panetonne, toasted coconut, and chocolate chip scones ($5 each) were all good and baked well. The honey latte and hot chocolate (most drinks are $4-8) were also very creamy and delicious, though slightly too sweet for our tastes (made it taste good though!) You order at the counter and then take a table and place a marker with nice words like "love" and then your food is brought to you. The actual space is very inviting, with lots of nooks and crannies (tables with chairs, couches, a fireplace). They also sell t-shirts ($30) and sweatshirts ($40-50?) which are pretty soft material, as well as ground coffee, cards, granola, etc. The other half of their space is their homemade pasta place so it's a unique layout and looked fun as well. There were plenty of customers cycling in and out, many sitting down with a warm drink and a pastry. Parking isn't huge but was not super super small but could be an issue if they got an influx of folks hanging out. Wouldn't blame them though because it's a comfortable place with free wifi. Looking forward to returning! Shopping like Whole Foods, walmart, and Shop Rite are all within a few miles.

I wasn't in a particular hurry, but 14 minutes from order to delivery seemed on the long end for takeout. It was certainly worth the wait. I ordered a cupcake as a birthday gift for someone, an oat milk latte, and the protein breakfast bowl. The breakfast bowl was outstanding. A wide range of eggs and meats, perfectly heated, and a generous portion. The oat milk latte was likewise delicious, and well prepared. The cupcake, which I'm supposed to deliver this afternoon, is on the 50-50 list of whether it will make it because it looks so good. I want to eat it now! #It'sYourBirthday?
