This is a great coffee shop. There is a huge amount of space for hanging out, relaxing, meeting up with friends or working. Murphy areas in different rooms give you various options for what you're looking to do. They have delicious looking pastries. I tried one of the gluten free chocolate chip cookies and it was better than most other chocolate chip cookies I've ever had! The staff are really friendly and skilled. The coconut mocha is got was made just right too. I'm looking forward to going back to spend more time there. Plus their mission of inclusivity is inspiring and beautiful. Highly recommend patronizing this wonderful café!

Happy to finally grab some breakfast on the go from a place I heard so much about. Such a wonderful atmosphere from the moment I stepped in. It took me a while to decide but the cashiers were super helpful! So many people having coffee and enjoying their breakfast on a late morning during the week. That's a great sign! I will definitely come back with my family and friends! My omelette was delicious and the fruit on the side was just enough for me.

What a cute coffee shop! It's soo big! It's actually combined with New England Pasta Company s we hice is nice. Very ample space with lots of seating. Decor is cute and is pretty busy! When I walked in I was like " boy ohh boy" this is heaven to Look at! lol everything looked so good! This was my first time there and I was meeting a friend so this was the place we both chose to try out! I got 2 GF scones. 1 to have there and 1 to go. I also had a GF breakfast sandwich which was pretty tasty along with a hot almond joy latte! My friend also had a tasty baked goody and an omelette with fruit which she enjoyed very much. The ambiance was very nice . We enjoyed our Saturday coffee date to catch up! And I'd def will be back!

This is such a great restaurant on so many levels! The food is delicious and all freshly made from their daily menu board as well as freshly made baked goods! The drinks lattes hot and cold are great! And so delicious! But the best part of this restaurant is the vision and mission of it's owners of Inclusion! EVERYONE BELONGS! They hire teens and adults with special abilities and neurotypical teens/adults to work together for work and social skill functions... The owners have also joined up with an organization Blue path service dogs to assist in funding a dog to a family with a child with autism for safety, companionship and independence. I would love for a cafe like this to open in other communities- I would be there all the time too not just for breakfast...

What a great place best omelette I ever had.

Beanz & Co is a coffee shop with a wonderful mission, they're employing the disabled within the community. Here, everyone belongs! It was my first time stopping by today. Upon walking inside I noticed it's a lot more specious than I expected. There's a few spots at the bar top at the window, along with a substantial amount of available seating throughout. They have a pretty large menu, of coffee, breakfast and lunch options. I got their Maple Vanilla Latte off of their specials menu. I requested they make my latte in a ceramic coffee cup, they had a whole bunch of them sitting on top of the coffee machine. The lady told me, she "can't do that because of covid" ?!?! Ok, why display them then? And I am certain they have a dishwasher. Paper cups are wasteful on the environment, and on the budget, especially since I am sitting inside. Anyway, she made me my Maple Vanilla Latte in a paper cup. I am sorry to say it really wasn't very good. It was filled with whipped cream and topped with cinnamon, that's delicious, however my latte was super watery for a latte. It was sweet, because of the syrups used, but as far as the base it was very weak. This is surprising since they claim to use Omar coffee, one of the best in CT. While I appreciate their mission, I was not impressed by my experience at Beanz & Co.

"Satisfy my soul, You satisfy my soul" (Bob Marley) Drinking my latte and splitting two delicious scones with my wife, my taste buds were surely satisfied. But after reading about Beanz and watching the beautiful interactions between their staff and the general public, my soul was equally satisfied. They are "an inclusive coffee café" that "employ(s) an inclusive workforce because it enriches every life every day. And we're all the better for it". I am urging every single Yelper in the area to go there and support this amazing place that celebrates the dignity of all Human Beanz; and let their intellectual and developmental disabilities be damned. The slogan on their shirts, and prominently displayed on the wall simple reads "Everyone Belongs". We came in for coffees and a snack on a Saturday afternoon and were greeted by three of the sweetest young ladies you will ever meet. Polite, cheerful, engaging, friendly and just plain super nice. A coffee, chai, chocolate-cranberry scone, and a maple walnut scone ran around $13. The scones were terrific- fresh, soft, and full of flavor. As I sat and looked around I saw a lovely encounter between those three young ladies and a fourth carrying on a conversation in American Sign Language. That's the whole point of Beanz -its mission is to change the unemployment or underemployment of the disabled. If you have love and compassion in your heart, and believe in the dignity of all men and women, your soul will surely be satisfied by a trip to Beanz.

A womb with a view! This is a not simply a "place". It's a return to peace and inner calm.

OMG! Do yourself a favor and immerse yourself into this bright, uplifting oasis! The food is PHENOMENAL. I had the breakfast bowl, which defaults to being served with two over easy eggs. My wife had the quiche of the day. Both easily the best breakfast we've had in a while. The service was friendly efficient and delightful.

That's because when you pull into the shopping plaza.....you don't see it. But if you circle around to the right, you'll see it on the side of the strip mall's buildings. And trust me, this spot is definitely worth hunting down to experience a standout breakfast or lunch. We walked in a little before 1:00 yesterday and found a table for two in the back left corner of the dining room, so we had a good view of the entire room. I have to tell ya, the place was packed! Breakaway closes at 3:00 every day except Sunday (2:00), and there were breakfast and lunch menus out, plus a few daily specials. My wife went with a "William's Ham Panini" ($17) with thin sliced ham, bacon, caramelized onions, cheddar and honey mustard on a grilled panini. We both were struck at how much ham was piled onto her sandwich. She had a few choices for a side dish and put her nickel down on potato salad. I went with The JT Salad ($16). The menu says it's been their "best-selling salad 25 years and counting". It was a big portion of mixed greens served with house balsamic dressing, grape tomatoes, gorgonzola cheese, and grilled chunks of teriyaki glazed chicken breast. It was stellar, with plenty of that yummy cheese and chicken. The only sour note with our lunch was a rather steep $4.25 for a glass of iced tea that was half-filled with ice. The food was very good and a decent amount of leftovers came home with us for another day. I was unexpectedly impressed by how crowded Bistro was on a random Monday. I bet you'll be too.

These days it's hard to find a cafe that isn't overpriced and better than just average. But Toasted Oat hits the high points of quality of cook on the food, even if the ingredients may not all be top notch. They have breakfast sandwiches, bowls and scrambles, as well as regular sandwiches, salads and burritos. We enjoyed the regular breakfast sandwich with spinach and cheese (subbed the meat but wish the spinach had been cooked in - $7) and the breakfast scramble which included 2 eggs, 3 veggies, cheese, protein all mixed/cut up together, as well as hash brown (didn't exactly look homemade?) and toast ($11). Everything was served in to-go containers so the looks weren't the best but makes sense given the place and that most people probably don't dine in. You order at the counter and they bring you your food. Everything takes time to come out so you know it's done to order. They also have some coffee and tea. They had a few coffee cake items in a glass display but didn't look homemade either. It feels like a cafe should have more selection of pastries but again bother me. Service was friendly and patient. The actual location isn't that great visually either. There is one longer table and a few smaller ones, but it's not a big place and not decorated to impress (fine by me!) They did have some tables and chairs outside, and it was a pleasant day to sit outside. Their milk is sourced from Arethusa Farms, one of the best, if not THE BEST local dairy resources. Their menu is large with coffee, tea, refreshers, including pastries, breakfast and lunch options. On this trip we got coffees. I got Nova's Nutella Latte, the others got a mocha and Kiwi, Mint & Lemongrass refresher. These were all very pricey, I was a bit taken aback. Each drink was between $9.00 and $10.00. Maybe it's because of the locally sourced milk, I can't think of another reason. My Nutella Latte was very chocholatey and very tasty, but my cup was also filled with ice all the way to the top. The refresher was very sweet, but a unique combo of flavors and pretty refreshing. The mocha was solid. Overall, maybe I got the wrong things at Bruno's, but I can't say I was super impressed, especially at such a high cost.
