I love panera bread so like ill keep ordering from here but this is the second time that they gave me an AWFUL sandwhich. I had to call the manager (who by the way is very sweet) in order to get another one. I was hangry too :/ so that kinda made me sad but LEMME tell you. Once i ordered a grilled cheese and I received a HAM sandwhich. Like what??? Did i ask for this??? And it was also the size of like my nose. I ate it of course. But i was mad. Today, i decided to give them another chance and BOOM i get A LEAFY SANDWHICH. I ordered a caprese but just got bread and some leafs. Grrrrrrrrrrrr. Like look at the picture bro i cant make this up - i got like leafs and a tomato. I always order caprese and i know this aint it. WAIT. I was angry but i just got a reorder and the manager gave me a pastry okay so from 1 star i increased to 3 stars. Love you mr manager

We were not impressed with the food this evening. We ordered soups and the new quinoa and lentil bowls. The broccoli & cheddar and chicken noodle soups were okay. I ordered the bowl with eggs. The serving seemed small and did not look like the ad at the cashier station--came with only one egg. The hard boiled egg was chewy. The dish was extremely salty with little room for the other flavors to come through. There are much better restaurants nearby which have good food and value. The photo with two eggs is the ad. The photo with one egg my meal--the lemon slice was there, just buried under the lump of wilted spinach.

Today was depressing; Starbucks basically stood up my order, so I went to Panera for a comeback. I've always loved Panera. My first A+ quiz, where I learned I got an internship, the parking lot I got my first handy in. I expected nothing but excellence: until I placed my order. Cold brew was the drink that Starbucks could not provide, however, the Madagascar cold brew at star bucks never fails, until today. The sub par monstrosity of a coffee sent me into crippling depression. Upon utter disappointment in presentation, I am certain I was crop dusted by the employee delivering my certain failure of a drink. All In all food was Ight

Day old bread given out to unsuspecting customers. The employees think they are smarter than the customers.

Reserve well in advance during football weekends or special events, such as graduation week. We enjoyed the Tuscan Tortellini ($23): shrimp and chicken sautéed in garlic with sun-dried tomatoes and spinach, herb sauce, cheese tortellini with basil and parmesan. Two of us split the tasty three-lamb-chop special for $36. Several nearby booths were enjoying the Southern Ribs ($23 ): seven slow-cooked, then crispy-fried pork ribs in a BBQ sauce, served with pimento mac-n-cheese, cornbread, and vegetable du jour. In addition to the dinner entrées ($20-$32) and specials ($40), Lefty's has dinner sandwiches under $14 and dinner burgers under $15. Plus flatbread pizzas, $14. Wines by the glass from $8 to $10.50. 24 beers on tap. Cocktails are $9 to $11. Service is fast, efficient, and mostly friendly (ours got a little snippy when we asked about a cocktail order that was slow to arrive, but it was a busy graduation night). Dependable on all counts; we'll be back.

I was caught off guard when my friend walked up the stairs to the house because from initial appearance, I wouldn't have thought this was the restaurant! Upon walking in, the host greeted us and told us his name was Dan and that he was the owner of the restaurant! It was really cool to see that the owner is truly passionate about his restaurant and will show up to put in the work, even during the later hours. In terms of the food, I went with the Hungry Hokie which was a mashed potato bowl with with bits of meatloaf and chicken, green beans, macaroni and cheese. It also came with a biscuit or cornbread, I opted in with the cornbread. The food was absolutely hearty and had pretty good flavor! The one wish that I had was that it came in a bigger portion as it didn't fully fill me up. If I was in town again, I'd definitely consider going back to try the other items on the menu!

The service at firehouse was good like usual, what I particular like about fire house subs is that they donate money to fire houses and they give you a pickle with your sandwich. I got the large pub steak sub because I was feeling mighty hungry that evening. When I got it I drove home to devour this sandwich. The sandwich looked really good, lots of meat, cheese and crunch from the crispy onions. However the taste was not as good as the appearance. The first bite was nice and cheesy and so was the second and third. Then I realized all I could really taste was the cheese, and the bread. The crispy onions got soggy and lost in the cheese sauce. As for the meat, there was not too much taste to it. Overall, fire house sub is generally really good. Get any of their regular sandwiches and you would be pretty content for going there. However for their new special pub steak sub I was not a fan. I would definitely go back and get my usual sandwich which is the hook & ladder or their Italian.
