I love panera bread so like ill keep ordering from here but this is the second time that they gave me an AWFUL sandwhich. I had to call the manager (who by the way is very sweet) in order to get another one. I was hangry too :/ so that kinda made me sad but LEMME tell you. Once i ordered a grilled cheese and I received a HAM sandwhich. Like what??? Did i ask for this??? And it was also the size of like my nose. I ate it of course. But i was mad. Today, i decided to give them another chance and BOOM i get A LEAFY SANDWHICH. I ordered a caprese but just got bread and some leafs. Grrrrrrrrrrrr. Like look at the picture bro i cant make this up - i got like leafs and a tomato. I always order caprese and i know this aint it. WAIT. I was angry but i just got a reorder and the manager gave me a pastry okay so from 1 star i increased to 3 stars. Love you mr manager

We were not impressed with the food this evening. We ordered soups and the new quinoa and lentil bowls. The broccoli & cheddar and chicken noodle soups were okay. I ordered the bowl with eggs. The serving seemed small and did not look like the ad at the cashier station--came with only one egg. The hard boiled egg was chewy. The dish was extremely salty with little room for the other flavors to come through. There are much better restaurants nearby which have good food and value. The photo with two eggs is the ad. The photo with one egg my meal--the lemon slice was there, just buried under the lump of wilted spinach.

Today was depressing; Starbucks basically stood up my order, so I went to Panera for a comeback. I've always loved Panera. My first A+ quiz, where I learned I got an internship, the parking lot I got my first handy in. I expected nothing but excellence: until I placed my order. Cold brew was the drink that Starbucks could not provide, however, the Madagascar cold brew at star bucks never fails, until today. The sub par monstrosity of a coffee sent me into crippling depression. Upon utter disappointment in presentation, I am certain I was crop dusted by the employee delivering my certain failure of a drink. All In all food was Ight

Begals with cream cheese is delicious, and their hazelnut coffee is super. Very nice place for breakfast.

Slowest Panera ever. I had time to go to the post office and write this review before I got my food.

My experience was pleasant and the food was good, although, it could have been better if there was a readily available gluten-free menu.

The food is fresh and so yummy and like I said it's enough food to feed two people or have as two meals so it's a cost effective meal choice. Customer service was great and each bowl is made right in front of you so you can add or eliminate any of the ingredients you don't want. I will also note that I have never had a problem with my order here, they always get it correct. The menu allows you to order one of their bowls or curate your own. You can also add or take away certain ingredients to one of their bowls as well. Some of my favorite bowls are the Balboa, the Mayweather, and the Tamari. The bowls are super filling and packed with all the ingredients. Their chicken is also really good, not dry, and seasoned well. If you are in the area and want a healthy, filling meal, check Roots out! I am dying for them to open a location in Gainesville!!

I have lived in Blacksburg my whole life and ODB has been a go-to bakery for most locals for a while. Serving a variety of pastries, cakes, breads, and offering lunch, brunch, and dinners. They have a lovely variety of options for customers to enjoy. The bakery primarily serves French pastries and caters to French cuisine at their meals. Although they offer more than just French inspired food. In the past, my family and I have enjoyed grabbing their cakes for celebrations and individual pastries from their pastries case. But recently, they have not been up to par and have left us very unsatisfied. The cakes have been dry and do not taste fresh at all. On my latest visit I tried a couple of things, all of which were cold, with dry, crumbly textures. It was evident to me that these pastries were not made day-of and had clearly sat in a fridge for at least one night (if not more). I found this to be extremely disappointing as ODB used to have a reputation of serving FRESH baked goods and pastries. I cannot attest for the hot food they serve during meal times, but the pastries and cakes have gone down hill. Over the winter break, I had their NY cheesecake bar (which I've gotten in the past and it was phenomenal) and it fell so short of what I remembered. It was lacking flavor and the crust at the bottom was dry. This past visit, I tried a Napoleon (also have had this before and really enjoyed it), a specialty cake, a scone, and a couple macarons and macaroons. The Napoleon was so cold and the puff pastry was super stale, it practically fell apart the second I tried to eat it. The specialty individual cake slice was also very cold and the cake wasn't moist at all. Again, indicating it was not fresh or made day-of. The scone was also a disappointment as it was dry and lacked any moisture. I thought the macrons and macaroons were fine though. While most of this was disappointing, the price didn't help either. Nothing was inexpensive and the quality was completely missing. So disappointing to leave this review as I used to enjoy coming here for sweet treats. It's sad to see that ODB is unfortunately not what it used to be. I will note that the service is very friendly and they do their best dealing with customers. Could have been more efficient, but I did go during a busier time. I hope they can turn things around, but until then I do not think I will be retuning soon.

The Cellar is one of those restaurants where you might wonder, "Do they have ...?" And the answer…read morewill probably be, "Yes, they do have that on the menu." They have gyros, meatball subs, pizza, burgers, crab cakes, kabobs, chicken parmesan and lots more. I get a little squinky when I see a multiple-page menu with lots of random foods on it. But I visited with a group, and so I was locked into this place, whether I liked it or not. A quick internet and Yelp search told me that the things to get at The Cellar are the Greek gyro and the pizzas. I didn't want a whole pie just for myself, so I ordered the gyro. The Greek gyro was really good! It is lamb and beef in a pita, topped with tzatziki, lettuce, onion and tomato. All of the veggies were super fresh, and the pita was warm and pillowy. It's served with chips and a pickle. They actually have quite a few Greek or Mediterranean-adjacent items on the menu. One of the people in my group ordered the Black & Blue Salad, which is basically a salad with steak and bleu cheese on it, plus lots of vegetables. It was huge! She ate a lot of it, and it looked like she barely made a dent. When she put the leftovers in the to-go container, she almost needed two containers! It became a running joke that day and for a couple of days afterward about whether or not she actually finished that salad. This is also the location for the 6Pak Bottle Shop, which is basically a liquor store but intensely curated. They have a nice selection of craft beers and wine. There is also a bar downstairs, which I didn't have the pleasure of visiting. Another great thing about The Cellar is that they are open late! Sometimes until midnight, and sometimes until 2 a.m. I guess that makes sense, as they are located basically right across the street from Virginia Tech.

We also ordered sides of curly fries. These were fried fresh. It's somewhat of a dark speakeasy vibe. The crowd was tame compared to some of the other bars down the street. We hope to try the full restaurant in our next visit.

Before we entered the restaurant there was a sign on the door which read one of their grills were down and a list of items were not available. The sign was very confusing b/c there were items marked out so we weren't sure if that meant they were available or not. So we took our chances. We were immediately sat and drink orders taken. Received our drinks very quickly and we asked to order the Trifecta I believe it's what is called with French toast. The waitress said they didn't have French Toast due to the grill being out of order. Our little hearts were broken b/c they have the best French toast in town. I am leaving a 4 star review not because we didn't get french toast but because the 8.5x11 white sheet of paper on the front of their door was confusing to read and you couldn't tell what was available and what wasn't.
