Panda is still one of our go-to places for fast Asian cuisine. The service is really good at this location. The food was really fresh as well. I give a slight knock this go around because the portions (especially the sides) were noticeably less and the were out of egg rolls, which was the first time I had ever seen that happen. Pretty disappointed...Zero Pandas inside. But I guess it was pretty Express. Drive Thru was snappy. Clean. Consistent. They pretty much sell the same 8 things +/- Steamed Rice or Fried Rice. Meat. Rice. Rangoons. Egg Rolls are crunchy. New Super Greens Option is cool for those people (and one of my unique kids) Give it a shot when you're too tired to make something. I had never tried Panda Express before. I was surprised in the quality of the food for it being so fast. The flavors were good as well. I went inside to pick up the food and the staff was very friendly and welcoming. The inside was clean and well kept after the lunch rush. We decided to try it again because they are very close and it seems like there are always cars there. I'm glad we did my wife had the Kung Pau bowl with steamed rice and she thought it was excellent. I had the plate with. Orange chicken and black pepper angus steak. The orange chicken and fried rice was excellent, well cooked and tasty. The black pepper angus steak was pretty tough and didn't seem to have much flavor at all. All in all seemed like a nice place pleasant friendly people, and good food. It was really nice to go thru a drive thru and not be bugged for a tip or feel like you are pushed to tip. We will definitely go back. read more

Had a coupon so tried Panda Express. Not much specific to say other than we didn't care for our meals and won't be going back. Had two chicken bowls. Rice was spiky, not fluffy. Sesame chicken was a little gummy. I remember it being better. Drive-thru service was fine. read more

I really like some of the items on Panda's menu, and I appreciate having a Chinese restaurant who publishes nutritional information. Unfortunately, I haven't succeeded in actually obtaining food at this location. On this attempt, I observed a line of about a dozen cars, which at my usual Panda on S 72nd would take 15-20 minutes. But after half an hour, I was only halfway through the line. I couldn't justfy waiting nearly an hour for fast food. Fortunately, this is one of the few places that offers an escape route from the drive through. Note that going inside to pick up an order carries its own risk of delay: the line of cars may well trap you in your parking spot. read more

This was a quick stop for a take out lunch at Panda Express however there was no aspect of 'express'. There was a line of 8 cars ahead and the line stood still for 3 minutes then slowly crept forward. I should have parked the car and walked in, would have saved 10 minutes according to my estimate. They also didn't have teriyaki chicken, strike 2 for me. The fried rice and egg roll was bland. Perhaps, its time to find a fast food Chinese restaurant as a backup. Well, after striking out at the Panda near 168th and Maple, I'd begun going out of my way in my quest for Panda Express teriyaki chicken. I don't know why that is so difficult to get, but I went this past Wednesday evening to the location close to 180th and Center. I arrived and my receipt is time-stamped 8:34pm. I asked for a large teriyaki chicken and medium fried rice, same as always. Pull up to the window and they tell me it's a 14 minute wait. I'd left early for work, knowing I was going out of my way, and if they were right on 14 minutes, I'd still make it, so I agreed to pull around and park in the Panda Prison to wait. TWENTY TWO MINUTES later, my food came out the door. Yup, late for work thanks to Panda-Not-So-Express. But you know what REALLY got this review just one star? While I was waiting, I had nothing to do but watch the inside of the restaurant, and I saw an employee filling the utensil cups on the counter. He brought out four cups of utensils. He placed two on the counter, and the other two must be reserve for quick refill when they're busy. Those two cups, he was going to stow in the cabinet below the counter. He bent down to put them in, and about half of the forks from one cup fell on the floor. Plastic forks, probably a restaurant-cost of less than a penny each, not wrapped in plastic, and he PICKED THEM UP OFF THE FLOOR, PUT THEM BACK IN THE CUP AND STOWED THE TWO CUPS IN THE CABINET!!! Came in and dealt with them wanting us to order online only to have a family come in right after us that they decided to serve without having them order online. Was almost insulting watching that family get to order in-person while Panda Express denied us the same service 1 minute prior. read more

VERY DISAPPOINTED in service from the center st location Panda Express this evening at 8:25pm (supposed 5 minutes before lobby closing but NO HOUR SIGNS and A PERSON ALSO EATING IN THE LOBBY) My family of six with baby and I began to order but the immature 18 yo woman working proceeded TO NOT MENTION THE LOBBY WOULD BE CLOSING as she continued to fulfill our order. To add, the woman let my mom and my two other daughters order before mentioning anything. When my daughter and I stepped up to order, we wanted chow mein. The bowl was low but the we agreed to wait for the next bowl. The woman then said "sorry ma'am, the lobby is closing and we can't serve you chow mein." She then said "the drive through is open til nine but we can't make this food for you." To me, this lady just sounds ridiculously idiotic because does she not realize that she is making food for the drive through, but she couldn't serve the people right in front of her. I would like to say that I am extremely upset about the laziness and stupidity of the people that don't want to do their jobs these days. I mean without my service as being their customer, their bills would not be paid. It is truly so sad that the world has come to this. My daughter said "i guess i'll have your rice" but when we finally decided to leave this RUDE business, the worker threw the rice from the box back into the rice container so unsanitary. Before you think i sound like a Karen, I have worked since 6:30am and attended a softball game, so my family and I were expecting an evening to eat dinner and relax. But instead my mother and two other children had to take their food to go while my husband, baby, and other daughter were refused to be given food unless through drive through. My husband told them that we were going to chick fil a as we knew that their service was guaranteed to be better. As we were proceeding to leave with already VERY DISAPPOINTED opinions about this location, we were approached by the store manager. He asked "sir what is wrong" to my husband and my husband went to tell him about how his employee refused to feed us chow mein in person "because they couldn't make it" but we're able to serve it to the people in the drive through. My husband then said "not to mention, she didn't say ANYTHING about it being closing hours for the lobby" then he also said "how was i supposed to know that your lobby was closed when there are NO SIGNS on your windows or doors that your lobby closed at 8:30." When the manager looked at the door with no signs, his face was blank. He had nothing to say about that or the way his other employees were disrespectfully treating us. When I mentioned the fact that I would be making this post the manager said "have fun with that!" with a smile, not trying to understand or help us at anytime. When we finally got home, I tried a bite of my daughters food and found out that their chicken had tasted mushy and like it was sitting out all day as well as their rice that is always dry as a bone and not appetizing at all. Got drive-through here around 9 PM in the evening. Our order was a couple bowls of chicken with chow mein, which turned out pretty good, although the amount of chow mein compared to the meat was disappointing. The total came to around $13, not including drinks. Overall, service was reasonable and the food could have been better. read more

Wow. I've not been witness to such disinterested management in quite some time. During my entire visit (getting take-out mind you...and it took 16 minutes) what I can only assume was the manager on duty was neither helpful, nor considerate to customers OR employees. They were running low, or were out of several food items (@ 7:00pm on a Sunday) and when I requested these items, I was told that they were cleaning the fryers, and that it would be too long of a wait, choose something else. Pretty hard to do with the limited selection. During my wait for my order to be packaged, I overheard this young woman speaking with a very rude tone to her co-workers...stating that she is the ONLY one that can cook, so the drive-thru is just "gonna have to wait damnit"...yikes! (note: she is the ONLY one that can cook, however she was never in front of a wok...) When my order was complete and ready to be bagged, the young man helping me realized that they were out of bags. He asked a co-worker where they were, she didn't know. He then asked the "manager" and she replied..."huh, we're out of bags...I guess that sucks" The only reason that I am even giving 2 stars is because the food wasn't terrible. Good drive through food, however tonight the girl working the drive through was not very friendly. I'm a little hard of hearing and had to ask her to repeat something a couple times. Then when I got to the window she handed me my food, and when I asked her for some hot mustard she rolled her eyes. She also didn't say a word, like thanks, or have a good evening... One of two brand new stand-alone Panda Express locations in Omaha. First impressions are great. They offer a fairly wide selection of american-ized Chinese food served cafeteria-style. I ordered the combination black pepper chicken & broccoli beef with steamed rice and a bowl of hot & sour soup. Everything tasted great, and was dished up very quickly. Even though this first visit was dine-in, they also have a drive-thru, but it appeared to not be in service. They did just open. read more

The doors were locked and an employee came out and stated that it would be 15 or so minutes before they actually open...I've never heard of this happening at a Panda Express location. There are times when you just don't know what to prepare for dinner, and the nearby Panda Express provides a convenient solution. Everyone in the family can have something they like. The food is fresh, tasty, and the restaurant is clean and neat. I've never been very impressed with food-court-in-a-mall Chinese food and that's basically all this is. Pre-made piles of buffet chinese food sitting under lamps is not my idea of good food. Call me crazy but I like to have my order prepared after I place it. There is no reason to eat here when there are much better choices nearby for the same amount of money. I went through the drive thru and ordered at 8:01 p.m. With one other car in front of me I did not get my order until 8:18. I also had to correct my order at the window. It is ridiculous a "fast food" order would take almost a 1/3 of an hour to get an order. When I got home the food was so salty it was not eatable. I've ate at a panda express before, but this one must have had all the wrong people working here. The crab rangoons taste like cardboard with mushy stuff inside it. I ordered hot and sour soup and it was so congealed I almost threw up! My entree wasnt anything special and it took them 15 minutes to cook it and I waited even longer to get it. I'm so unimpressed!
