I've been looking forward to the opening of this location since it's about 2 miles from our house. Of course, the coupons we received in the mail were a definite bonus. So on the first visit, hubby and I ordered bowls with our BOGO coupon. The bowls include your choice of side (the base) - rice, fried rice, chow main or veggies topped with an entree. I choose fried rice with Mushroom chicken and hubby choice veggies with Kung Pao Chicken. I originally was going to get Black Pepper Angus Steak, but didn't feel like paying the upcharge. I thought my bowl had too much rice. I wish I would have gotten 1/2 rice and 1/2 veggies (1/2 and 1/2 is an option). The mushroom chicken was good but needed some spice. The Kung Pao Chicken had a lot more flavor but it was also very spicy! Although the bowls are a neat idea, they wouldn't be my first choice and I thought they were pricey for the amount of food. Our service was good. In fact, we were given a very warm welcome when we entered. The girl who took our order also told us about the upcharge and that the Kung Pao was their spiciest dish. I like that she took the time to tell us both. We will eat here again but not sure if we will eat inside or get carryout. Although we enjoyed the atmosphere, but we could easily take our food home. We already have a plan for our next visit. We are going to share a Bigger Plate with 3 entrees and 1 side so that we can try a few entrees. After that visit, I'll update my review.

My coworkers and I ordered online from here today during lunch. Food tasted decent. I ordered a plate with half fried rice, half chow mein. Unfortunately, the fried rice didn't make it to my plate.

All my food was fresh. And everyone was nice and friendly. It was rather calm on this rainy night.

This is it what I received.

Let people sit in the drive through so long without even acknowledgement that several cars took off lol.

It's unusual to find authentic Asian food like this in the Midwest. I am Asian American from the…read moreWest Coast so I know really good Asian food and this place fits the bill! They hand make their dumplings as well as many of their items and it shows. The noodles are really good and not your prepackaged variety. In fact the noodles are excellent! We had their dumplings, wontons, pot stickers, two types of noodles, eggplant, beef rolls, and meat buns. The eggplant dish was so delicious! And their noodles with tomato egg tasted very much like tomato beef chow mein which we have on the West Coast. It was so good!! The type of cuisine is Taiwan or Northern style with lots of chili oil, but not overly spicy. The place is very clean! You order à la carte from a big menu at the counter. You get your utensils, bowls and plates from a table in the back but they bring your food to you. The service was quick, friendly, and excellent. This place is casual, and a great place to get a quick delicious meal or just a bite to eat.

We had the mapo tofu with fried rice and the chili noodle bowl, both were phenomenal. The staff is very friendly all around! The ambience gives more of a hole in the wall type feel. I would say excellent lunch or quick dinner spot but not necessarily what I would consider a sit down restaurant. Overall will definitely be coming back. A perfect meal for a rainy day!

Their online menu does not have the pictures that the in store one has and woowee it is a lot of choices of noodles! Amongst the 4 of us, we ordered the pork tip noodle, the Peking pork (zhajiangmian), hot oil wide noodle, beef tendon knife noodle. YUM! The noodles are handmade, handpulled and you can customize the shape and thickness you want! The portions as you can see are massive and the prices are very reasonable! $14/$15 a bowl! My pork rib tips were too tough but still seasoned. I would say their Peking style zhajiangmian is pleasantly less authentic and I liked this version better than the original! It included a braised full egg, and not too much of the cloyingly sweet and intense sauce. We ordered and within 2 minutes we were served fresh bowls of piping hot noods. Our server was efficient, warm, knowledgeable and bilingual. She said I looked like a popular Hong Kong singer, like OMG what a cute compliment! There was convenient parking and it was really close to my friend's house. Highly recommend!

The food is…read moreconsistently good and the staff is friendly :) They have a ton of vegetarian options which is not the case for other Chinese restaurants in the area. I often get the family style tofu dinner with fried rice and a spring roll. The spring rolls are much better than other restaurants I've tried and also vegetarian. My partner is always happy with the chicken dishes and pad Thai he orders. Also the leftovers reheat really well when I take them to work.. This is a busy spot and something I appreciate is that it's always hot by the time I get back home. I drive across town 15 minutes bc the food is so good. On occasion it's so busy that I have to wait a few minutes for pick up but I would much rather the food be fresh from the kitchen than sitting in a shelf waiting to be picked up. I hope this place stays in the neighborhood for many many years to come. Thank you, Happy Wok

It did say that it comes with fried rice and an egg roll but other places have said that but you don't with a noodle dishes. When I opened the Styrofoam container I found half of it. I have no clue why all the higher star reviews except they haven't eaten at some of the wonderful places I have. I will not be back.
