Normally really good but we opened our bag and found a hair on the top of our take out...

Old School Chinese Supper Club with delicious options. Love the charming decor with pattern on pattern and glass on glass. Love the lobby bar but it doesn't look like it's used anymore. Fast and friendly service Dinner was Home Style Fried Tofu; full of spice and heavy on the veggies served with triangles of deep fried tofu. It's a generous serving. Veggie spring roll was nice and the hot tea was on point. Adding to my list.

Seafood pan-fried noodles is always a favorite. It is served with large shrimp, scallops, and crab morsels, along with fresh vegetables.

I had an intense craving for sweet and sour pork, tender pork in a light batter, fried to a golden brown, with bright red sauce. You know exactly what I'm talking about. Luckily, the restaurant I selected offered online ordering and after a few taps, my order was in. In addition to the pork, I also ordered shrimp toast, seafood with noodles, and orange beef. Sze Chuan is located on Ford Rd, along a busy stretch of road between 275 and Sheldon (a bit past). Along the way, I saw numerous places I wanted to try, including Maverick's, Sumo's, and Samosa Factory. Unfortunately, the sweet and sour pork was average. Some pieces were overcooked but I loved the fluorescent-bright red sauce. However, the shrimp toast was substantial and well-seasoned. The orange beef was tender and flavorful. And let me spend a moment paying homage to the seafood pan-fried noodle. At first, I was a bit puzzled by the container of "soup" and the dried noodles. Ah, a moment later, I got it. By combining the seafood "soup" with the noodles, the noodles soften to al dente. The shrimp and scallops were large and scrumptious. The peapods were fresh and complemented the seafood. Get this if you love seafood. I'm glad I tried this spot and will likely be back for some other items on the menu, including moo shu pork, duck, and scallops in black bean sauce.

The service was good. The food was pretty good. It met my expectations but did not exceed them. Came out a bit colder than I'd like, but it tasted good. They have a nice variety of options. Note: They do not accept Discover credit cards.

I am super impressed with Szechuan restaurant. I've been trying to find a Chinese restaurant in the area for two years that I really like and I finally did. It's kind of tucked off the road a little bit so you don't really notice it like you might other places and from the outside it just doesn't look that great. Very plain and basic. But that all changes once you walk inside. The restaurant is super clean, which I was very impressed by. It's kind of old school decor, but everything is really tasteful and it's not over crowded with decorations. A real example of less is more. It feels like a much nicer place once you're inside. The wait staff was wonderful. Very attentive without being overbearing. My water glass never got more than halfway empty. They were very friendly and service was quick. The food was really good. I was concerned that it might be a bit pricey, because I looked at the menu online before I went in, but the prices on the menu inside are lower than what I found online, and I felt fairly priced. The hot sour soup was very good. Hunan chicken was very good also. If I have a criticism it would be this, and this really isn't a complaint. The menu is huge. There's got to be a couple hundred items on it. And surprisingly, they don't have egg rolls, which is one of my favorites. The spring rolls are good, but I prefer an egg roll. They also didn't have Szechuan chicken on the lunch menu, which I was surprised by given the name of the restaurant. Lol. Obviously these are petty criticisms. This place is good. Very good and I definitely recommend it.

Most definitely marvelous find, so uniquely delicious . Been a long time since I found the Cream Chicken Corn Soup made with Egg Drop OMG. Only sold by the quart at $8 a mega Deal you must try. The Pupu Platter they name Treasure Island outstanding loaded in Wooden Spinning Lazy Susan. Loaded with Balamaki, Spring Rolls, Coconut Shrimp, Crab Rangoon, Chicken Wings , perfect for sharing. She had ABC traditional spot on wonderful . My third place I found Cold Chinese Noodles in Peanut Butter Sauce WOWED , it's my addiction that I seek out. Place been around over 40 years was packed with customers at lunch time. Fabulous reviews around the web Google Yelp Instagram. The food was definitely 5 stars and I would absolutely return. The ambiance is updated modern with a Chinese influence. The only thing keeping my review from 5 stars is the fact the waitress disappeared for an extremely long time and left us just sitting and waiting for her to return so we could cash out and get some boxes. I'm not sure what happens because the other waitress staff were visible often,

Pork Fried Rice (with extra bean sprouts). Excellent!

Hot. Fresh. Fast…read more You will not be disappointed by this place. Likely the most affordable and authentic ramen in the area. Try the crispy pork to share and a bowl of ramen -- you will be beyond full!

Oh hell yeah, I came here last Friday by high recommendation from my friend who is a local here and…read moreshe told me this was the original location and just better. Their online menu does not have the pictures that the in store one has and woowee it is a lot of choices of noodles! Amongst the 4 of us, we ordered the pork tip noodle, the Peking pork (zhajiangmian), hot oil wide noodle, beef tendon knife noodle. YUM! The noodles are handmade, handpulled and you can customize the shape and thickness you want! The portions as you can see are massive and the prices are very reasonable! $14/$15 a bowl! My pork rib tips were too tough but still seasoned. I would say their Peking style zhajiangmian is pleasantly less authentic and I liked this version better than the original! It included a braised full egg, and not too much of the cloyingly sweet and intense sauce. We ordered and within 2 minutes we were served fresh bowls of piping hot noods. Our server was efficient, warm, knowledgeable and bilingual. She said I looked like a popular Hong Kong singer, like OMG what a cute compliment! There was convenient parking and it was really close to my friend's house. Highly recommend!

This is one of my favorite neighborhood restaurants and my go to Chinese spot. The food is…read moreconsistently good and the staff is friendly :) They have a ton of vegetarian options which is not the case for other Chinese restaurants in the area. I often get the family style tofu dinner with fried rice and a spring roll. The spring rolls are much better than other restaurants I've tried and also vegetarian. My partner is always happy with the chicken dishes and pad Thai he orders. Also the leftovers reheat really well when I take them to work.. This is a busy spot and something I appreciate is that it's always hot by the time I get back home. I drive across town 15 minutes bc the food is so good. On occasion it's so busy that I have to wait a few minutes for pick up but I would much rather the food be fresh from the kitchen than sitting in a shelf waiting to be picked up. I hope this place stays in the neighborhood for many many years to come. Thank you, Happy Wok

It did say that it comes with fried rice and an egg roll but other places have said that but you don't with a noodle dishes. When I opened the Styrofoam container I found half of it.
