The service was really good and fast! The food is pretty authentic with large portions. This is some of the best Chinese food I've had! Will absolutely be coming back! As you can see we drove right in, the egg rolls and crab Rangoon were massive!! Dinner plates were quite large as well. 10/10

Eh...I want to like this place because the owners are so cool and friendly. They have lots of options. It's definitely not bad food!! I mean you get a ton of food for what you pay for. I ate it all in one sitting, lol. But it's still fake chinese food for American palettes. Sometimes that can be good though! It's its own type of cuisine that is true unto itself :) I had the mala chicken, extra hot, and it was good! It's not like a malatang bowl though, if that's what you're thinking. Well that's what I thought it was gonna be like anyway. Had an egg drop soup also, that wasn't as good. Lots of yolk in it, wasnt feeling it personally. If you're looking for this type of chinese food they definitely have it!

I'm a garlic chicken fanatic. I've eaten it all over the world. And China Gold has the best GARLIC CHICKEN of all time. China Gold is a small carryout-only Chinese restaurant in the Pine Tree Plaza stripmall in Canton. It's been here since the 1980's. Many people go to Canton for Szechaun Restaurant, which also has great Chinese food but too often China Gold is overlooked. China Gold has an extensive menu with over 200 items. Everything I've ever had from here over the years has been tasty and affordable. Try: - Garlic Chicken - Spring rolls - Crab rangoon - Pot stickers

Eggroll (chicken & shrimp) is what the cashier stated, but it looks like trash and smells AWFUL.

My fav place, friendly staff, fresh food, quick, and it's like at least 3$ cheaper than everything else around per item.

Great service as well as proportion for the money. Simply a very nice take out only place.

Best Chinese around. Almond chicken is the best, the gravy is the right color not brown like other places and the plum sauce is the best.

The Chinese take-out only is good and being run by Vietnamese. Whatever in their menu I can do it at my home. Nothing really special.

Not sure, but I was excited to come here and try the food. It was a thousand out of ten. We ordered so much, the server was in shock, but we reassured her we were taking most home. I also feel like I should comment on food waste. I am the leftover queen, and this amount of food supplied ten portions (meals) for us over time and was completely finished. I saw they had two locations, but I decided to try the Ypsilanti location. The people working here were very friendly and helpful. I basically ordered half of the appetizer section since there was so much delicious choices to try. I had the sticky rice shumai, roti with curry, spicy wantons, pan fried pork buns, chicken egg rolls, crispy pork lion roll, and Korean wings (not pictured since I got an additional carry-out for my kid). We also ordered Dan Dan noodles , pad Thai, and sesame chicken. The food was all so delicious. The Dan Dan noodles were the best I have had in a long time. I love that it was not too spicy, the egg was a great addition, and I do like cilantro. The sesame chicken was huge and so crispy. I liked the pad Thai, but my husband was a bit disappointed and felt it needed a little more spice or flavor. The portions were huge, which is how we got so many meals out of the food. I loved the spicy oil on the wantons. The pan fried bus were amazing, fluffy with a slight crisp. the Korean wings had a great flavor and I liked the shumai a lot. I love how chewy the roti was, the sauce could have been thicker, but I enjoyed the curry. Everything was so good, I am not sure what I liked the most. It was an adorable place with huge portions and good prices. I really hope to stop back in again, and yes, I will probably order a ton again to enjoy there as well as at home.

I often get the family style tofu dinner with fried rice and a spring roll. The spring rolls are much better than other restaurants I've tried and also vegetarian. My partner is always happy with the chicken dishes and pad Thai he orders. Also the leftovers reheat really well when I take them to work.. This is a busy spot and something I appreciate is that it's always hot by the time I get back home. I drive across town 15 minutes bc the food is so good. On occasion it's so busy that I have to wait a few minutes for pick up but I would much rather the food be fresh from the kitchen than sitting in a shelf waiting to be picked up. I hope this place stays in the neighborhood for many many years to come. Thank you, Happy Wok
