I wasn't crazy about this place. If I could, I would give it 3.5 but that's the 5-Star scale for ya. The ingredients were fresh and seemed a good quality. But other than that, nothing stood out to me. I ordered through their website, and they had it hot and ready when I arrived. Except they gave me chicken and rice soup instead of wonton soup, and that soup didn't even taste much of anything? I ordered the sesame chicken dinner combination (Yes, a very basic American/Chinese dinner, but it's what my stomach yearned for), and it was just underwhelming. I appreciated that there was broccoli with the chicken, but it just was. I'm not sure this will ever be something that I'll ever crave ever again.

Super fast... like 10 minutes on non-rush times for hot fresh deliciousness. The quart size is a large portion of food for the price. Very tasty, too... House 3-meat lo Mein is excellent. The cook was right-on on everything we tried. It's not fancy, but if you are working or looking grubby to go pick up your take out, they are not going to care, either. Three cheers for takeout after a hard busy day! There are tables in the dining area if you want to eat there, but it will be out of a styrofoam container. Dining area has a nice fish tank to watch while you wait, too. You don't have to take me out, honey. Let's get takeout and watch Netflix, ...and the kitchen stays clean, too.

I often get the family style tofu dinner with fried rice and a spring roll. The spring rolls are much better than other restaurants I've tried and also vegetarian. My partner is always happy with the chicken dishes and pad Thai he orders. Also the leftovers reheat really well when I take them to work.. This is a busy spot and something I appreciate is that it's always hot by the time I get back home. I drive across town 15 minutes bc the food is so good. On occasion it's so busy that I have to wait a few minutes for pick up but I would much rather the food be fresh from the kitchen than sitting in a shelf waiting to be picked up. I hope this place stays in the neighborhood for many many years to come. Thank you, Happy Wok

It did say that it comes with fried rice and an egg roll but other places have said that but you don't with a noodle dishes. When I opened the Styrofoam container I found half of it. Less than half is noodles with less than the normal shrimp. Not even average compared to the others I have eaten. The egg roll was nothing to write home about. I have no clue why all the higher star reviews except they haven't eaten at some of the wonderful places I have. I will not be back.

I can't believe I was able to find a…read moregood Chinese restaurant that would offer such delicious and authentic Chinese food in this area, but this place is it! Tonight we decided to go full-on vegetarian (I'd been eating so much meat, carbs and cheese for the past few days). So we ordered: - Szechuan Vegetarian Chicken: not exactly "Szechuan" spicy but it sure was delicious. There were so many different kinds of veggies that went into this dish - different textures, different flavors - and then the imitation chicken meat which was so good. It was probably made out of soy, but honestly the texture was spot on and definitely chicken-like. I really liked this dish. - Vegetables Delight: absolutely delightful assortment of veggies (broccoli, carrots, water chestnuts, zucchini, baby corn and so much more), stir fried in delicious white sauce. It was a real delight. I loved it. - Vegetarian Lo Mein: super tasty. The sauce they used was super bomb, it was super savory I didn't even notice there was no meat here. It was insane. The noodles to me were just a tad overcooked, but it didn't impact the dish much. - Vegetarian Fried Rice: just like the Lo Mein, it was equally tasty. I really liked it but the rice was a bit over cooked as well. But it didn't negatively impact the dish much. - Vegetarian Egg Foo Young: think of this like Chinese style omelette served with some savory sauce and eaten with rice. Obviously we opted for the vegetarian kind even though they offered meat options. The egg foo young was delicious, hearty and filling. The sauce was savory, slightly sweet with a hint of tang. It was great. Overall I was truly impressed with their cooking. I'm curious to see how their non vegetarian dishes taste like, maybe I'll try them next time. Oh and portion was ginormous, you guys. Total cost was about $55 after tax. Totally worth it.

They hand make their dumplings as well as many of their items and it shows. The noodles are really good and not your prepackaged variety. In fact the noodles are excellent! We had their dumplings, wontons, pot stickers, two types of noodles, eggplant, beef rolls, and meat buns. The eggplant dish was so delicious! And their noodles with tomato egg tasted very much like tomato beef chow mein which we have on the West Coast. It was so good!! The type of cuisine is Taiwan or Northern style with lots of chili oil, but not overly spicy. The place is very clean! You order à la carte from a big menu at the counter. You get your utensils, bowls and plates from a table in the back but they bring your food to you. The service was quick, friendly, and excellent. I almost wanted to drink it. Good shrimp flavor. The Peking chicken was fire too. The Mongolian beef was good. The shrimp curry was meh. It had a lot of curry sauce for sure, but it lacked brightness! I think it needed some acid... something green? Or tomato or something? Not sure. The spring rolls were good, a little oily and needed plum sauce. The crab ragoon were very good- the fried shells themselves were quite tasty, with cheesy creamy crab dip inside. Clearly fried fresh and came out hot. The ambiance is cozy and clean. Lots of dark wood and Chinese decor. The interior is a little dated, but it's nice. The bathrooms were clean. The main reason this spot didn't get 5 stars was because the carts they use to deliver the food are crazy loud!! It's like a train moving past every time they deliver food to a table. Otherwise the servers are friendly, helpful, and attentive, and the food is solid. You're going to leave saying "that was a good meal." Overall positive experience, you should go!
