The garlic chicken was pretty good and had plenty of veggies! The wonton soup had a good classic taste and a decent number of wontons for the dinner special. I was not a fan of the chicken fried rice, it was a bit dry and lacking chicken. But overall it wasn't bad for the amount of food I got for less than $12 for a fresh meal! I really wanted to like this place. It would be great to have a good Chinese carry out place near us. But it was not to be. My wife ordered the Mu shu Shrimp. One small helping and it was in the garbage. I ordered the Kung Pao Chicken. Seemed like the chicken was coated with something (kind of like a General Tso's). However, it was not crispy - just sort of soggy with chewy chicken underneath. Ugh. And the dish had no flavor at all. Had to jazz it up with soy sauce and hot pepper seeds just to tolerate a few bites. Potstickers were just... bad. Hard to describe, but tasted like cardboard. No thanks... read more

Not a place to eat in at. There is no ambiance, more of a dump actually but seems clean enough I suppose. Order over the phone for pick up. They keep raising their prices so its not cheap to eat there, figure $15 - $20 plus a person. I suppose I could recommend but because of the prices i havent eaten their in a while. read more

Very disappointed with the food quality. The wonton soup was maybe a two out of five. The crab Rangoon was the best part of the meal and it was only ok. The pepper steak was very sub par. The low quality meat was very grisly and tough and the meat to peppers and onions was laughable! Maybe 5% of the meal was meat. Ohmygosh! This Chinese food is the BEST ever!! Freshly made to order, large delicious portions, and you can call ahead or just wait inside a few minutes. Don't let the small space fool you, when you first walk up to the building it does look like a carry out only but there are at least 5 small tables for you to have a seat and enjoy a quick meal. My husband and I had an appointment about 3 miles up the street and we only had about 40 minutes to grab a bite to eat and that just happened to be right on time. The food was prepared while we waited and served hot and delicious. New to Novi in 2010, I relied on an old constant in my life, Chinese food. This is the place to go for comfort food, and they make it to your specs. My favorite is Pork Egg Fu Yung w/pork fried rice. If you favor heavy ketchup flavored sweet and sour gluelike dipping sauce, pork fried rice with burned chopped mystery meat & pork rinds, or tempora style shrimp with garlic lobster sauce stir fried with a gummy heavy pancake batter then baby this is your joint. Saw one of the "cooks" wiping his nose, by the way he was unmasked, on his sleeve. Last time I pulled that off was at 6 years old & got cracked by Mom for taking the shortcut. I was so hungry for Chinese food & found this on Google. The place was a hole in the wall....but that did not deter me. I ordered a simple Almond Chicken & egg roll to go & waited. First red flag: cook did not wear gloves or mask....still not a killer. But when the cook sneezed in the isle while preparing the food & took no effort to cover it up. Did not wash hands after handling money but went right back to food prep. But how do you mess up a standard like Almond chicken....was dried out. Like the chicken had had freezer burn on it. My favorite is stirred beef with spring onion. Put it over white rice is addictively delicious

So happy we've finally found a place in our new area. The food was delicious! We had pepper steak and general tsao's chicken. The price was reasonable too. My only complaint would be that the gentleman that answered the phone and took my order was very short and borderline rude. He answered the phone as if it was his personal number, I had to make sure I was calling a business. Aside from that we're satisfied and can't wait to try something else on the menu. read more

I hadn't been here in a while, just because it's a bit of a drive for me, but I don't know what I've been thinking. Dinner was SO good! I had wonton soup, beef with broccoli, pork fried rice and an egg roll. The soup was perfect, and they are generous with the wontons. Beef and broccoli was flavorful and not overcooked. Pork fried rice was also yummy. They only do curbside right now, and it was great. Did a phone order and paid with credit card. Within 15 minutes I received a text message asking for the color of my car, and they were right out with my dinner, wearing a mask. I hope the curbside option continues! read more

Live super close to here and ate here for years. Egg rolls were good, the sesame chicken my daughter liked too but the fried rice was atrocious! Like worst I've ever had. Bland, no seasoning, gummy and yet kinda undercooked which I can't figure out how they managed to do that. My friend and I came late at night to order some carryout. Service was very fast as it took less than 10 minutes for both of our orders. I got the beef Lo Mein special combination and my friend got the moo shu pork. The rice I received was kinda dry and both the rice and noodles were bland. I had to add soy sauce revive it. The egg roll was meh, because it was VERY bland. My friend's moo shu pork pancakes were such a disappointment. They looked like and felt like the texture of a rawhide for dogs. She didn't enjoy her dish much. Overall, fast service and okay food. If I'm ever craving cheap Americanized Chinese food, I might come back here. read more

I love that they don't use any MSG ever, love that there are steamed options. I get the hot and sour soup frequently and I really like it. Reasonable prices, all the condiments and extras are on a table at the side of the counter, so you can take what you need. Never had a bad meal from here. The egg roles and appetizer were over cooked and dried out and all 5 meals were not good. 2 of us had the bourbon chicken which had little flavor and the chicken was hard and dried out, almost seemed freeze dried. 2 others had shrimp and chicken chow mein, which had no flavor, literally zero flavor - the celery (which was in large chunks as was the onions) was the most flavorful item in the dish. All I can assume, given the other reviews, is that we must have either had left over meals from day before or the chef was out. read more
