I decided to visit the local Culver's in Belleville for lunch several days ago. For those of you who have never been to one of these restaurants, you owe it to yourself to pay it a visit, especially if you love seasonal Walleye like I do. Culver's is the next level fast food experience you will love. Since I was pressed for time, I decided to do a pickup curbside order rather than going inside. Thankfully, using their app is a very straightforward process, and my order was delivered to my car on time. Likewise, the person who brought it to my car was very polite and made sure my order was correct. I played it safe and ordered a Deluxe Burger, with Swiss cheese, lettuce, and a slice of tomato. The flavor was amazing, and it reminded me of the hamburgers that my father would cook up on the grill as a child. Absolutely amazing. read more

I stopped by the Belleville Michigan Culver's. It was 10:45 in the morning, and the place was empty. I ordered a two piece walleye dinner with fries, slaw and bun. The young man taking my order was very polite and efficient. I picked up my place number went and got my drink and sat down. I didn't have to wait too long.And my food arrived. First off, I need to tell you back in the early 1980s. I was a manager at a Long John Silver's. So I shouldn't have to say I knew all about deep fried fish. The filets of walleye we're quite large. Sadly they were mushy and greasy. I put one of the pieces and a couple napkins.By the time I got to it the napkins were drenched in grease. The French fries we're overdone and the coalslaw had way to much dressing, the bun was stale. It was a waste of $21. read more

This was the worst experience I've ever had at a restaurant in my entire life. I pulled up and ordered, and they proceeded to take as long as possible while trying to complete my order they told me that I was being too slow that they close in three minutes so they might not be able to take my order. I told them my order and said thank you then proceed to drive up once my food came out. All of the cheese. Curds were dumped in the bottom of the bag both of my sandwiches had extremely hard bread. My ice cream was straight water and my Coke wasn't even a quarter full. Whoever was working here was being very rude and they all seemed to have a bad attitude at this Culver's and then I proceeded to ask for a refund and they told me no, and the cash is already out of the registers I worked for my money and I paid for a bunch of slop. honestly, their hours said they close at 12 o'clock and I ordered my food at 9:30 I wait here many times before, but this makes me never wanna come back! read more

On September 7, 2025, I had a very upsetting experience at this Culver's. I parked briefly in the #1 pickup spot while waiting for my drive-thru order and stayed a moment after receiving it. An employee repeatedly approached my car and pressured me to move to another spot, returning multiple times within minutes. The general manager followed, even though many other spaces were open. The situation escalated when the employee struck the hood of my car hard multiple times with her hand. I asked her to stop, and a bystander confirmed that this behavior was inappropriate. I requested a refund, but it was refused. Police were called, they inspected my vehicle, and an incident report was filed. No damage occurred, but the experience was aggressive and unprofessional. No customer should be treated this way, and I hope management addresses it. Update: The business reached out and asked me to provide additional details through their BleedBlue.co contact. This actually happened a while ago, and I posted a negative review of my experience, but someone reached out and tried to make it right and said they would send coupons, and I thought that was very nice and I even deleted the review, yet it's been over 2 months and I still haven't gotten them so I'm reposting my experience. LOL Basically I ordered a concrete mixer, and twice they had made it wrong. The first time they made it, it had the wrong toppings. Second time they made it, they had forgotten one of the toppings. Every one honestly looked so confused and lost and it basically took over 25 min for them to make one concrete mixer right. I've had good experiences here before, maybe it was just the staff they had scheduled that day that didn't know what they were doing.‍ Now I'm kind of just annoyed of the coupons I was told I would receive, but don't have. Hubby and I have only visited this location for custard - either sundaes or Concrete Mixers. Although we were just saying we need to try the food. Each time we have a buy one get one free coupon. During our visit today, I asked the employee and she said they take their expired coupons also. What I love about this location is the customer service (and the custard)! When you walk in the door, it's common to have a 1-3 employees yell out to you "welcome to Culvers". On this trip it sounded like at least three yelled out. It was pretty awesome and made me feel welcomed and appreciated. They are usually pretty good about thanking customers when the leave also. My hubby commented that they are following the way of Chick-Fil-A. So true! I like that we sit down at a table and an employee brings our custard. I saw an employee bring a customer his food then she asked him in he needed anything else like sauce or napkins. He requested sauce so she went to get for him. That's pretty awesome service for a fast food restaurant. The sundaes and Concrete mixers are also done well here. We've been to other locations were the toppings are lacking but this location is fair! My turtle Concrete mixer is always so much better than a Blizzard (from another chain). One thing I noticed during this visit was an employee doing some cleaning of windows and wall hangings. This is pretty impressive. The only negative thing I have to say about this visit was there was a lot of trash outside - but that could have just happened. And it's difficult to keep up with rude people who dump their trash in the parking lot. If you are looking for fast food with great service, I recommend this location. I love trying new fast food restaurants! I'm from Vegas, so I had never heard of Culver's but my brother said it was really good so we stopped. I had the Grilled Reuben Melt with extra thousand island and Cheese Curds as my side. Trust me, they are delicious! Don't get scared because of the name lol. They kind of taste like little cheesesticks. I noticed all the topping options that have for their Concrete Mixers. (froxen custard with toppings) I didn't have dessert but it looked like it would be delicious. One thing I noticed while I was waiting in line was, everyone was ordering a ButterBurger! This gets two stars because the food is great, other than that, this location leaves A LOT to be desired. A microscopic parking lot ensures that you will have NO WHERE to park. The drive thru is always a mad house with huge lines. After waiting 15-20 minutes just to place an order in the drive thru, you will spend another 10 waiting for it in the parking lot. On top of that, your order will be wrong which means you have to waste more of your time by going in and complaining. I love Culver's, but this location leaves a lot to be desired. read more

What can I say? Concretes are delicious, onion rings on point and they even serve to go ketchup in these cute little dipping packages instead of those lame foil packets from the Mickey D and BK crowd. Only wish they had an app system for placing orders. read more

My kids love Culver's and I do too!! I also love that they give incentives to the local district's behavior program, ie free ice cream or a meal for your kids for doing well in school. Not from the Midwest so had heard about Culvers & was looking forward. Had the Butterburger & the Fish Sandwich. Underwhelmed with the Butterburger. If you understand the phrase Whammie Burger it was just a mess & the burger overdone. Maybe the ideal one made at corporate would be legendary. Above the bottom rung but bested by a whole host of other joints. Five Guys definitely and even Whattaburger, In & Out, etc. I'll allow the frozen custard & chicken sandwiches might raise the score but can't report on those. Let's be upfront first; Culver's is a fastfood chain. But given that context, I really like them overall. I primarily used to going to one Downriver near Southland mall off Eureka Rd. It is consistently very good. I love their frozen custard, especially with generous amounts of blueberries, blackberries and raspberries added in it! Also, their burgers are all pretty solid offerings and I am a fan of their crinkle cut fries! They use high end cheeses and the staff is always friendly and helpful! This specific location off Bellevue Rd is pretty good so far as well, but in fairness, I have only been to that location twice. But I will say this...regardless of which location I have gone to, they are consistently good to very good. Kudos to the folks at Culver's! It ain't easy trying to break into a completely flooded field and then stand apart from the milquetoast. read more

I have been a Culver's loyalist for many years but today we asked for 2 single butter burgers with cheese, lettuce, tomato, onion and a dab of mayo and we got these (see photos). No vegetables and smashed buns. Good for my dog but come on, really?! When we got to the window the woman working was a typically scrubbed clean Culver's type but had an unacceptable attitude when we asked for a coffee. Very rude. And then- the coffee was tepid! Oh, please, Belleville Culver's, ditch the bitch and make the switch. I am sure there are loads of crisp, clean people that would love to serve your deliciously superior food and frozen custard! This is not as reliable as the one in Westland but it's closer to my house. Dinners here actually work. Decent fish (both walleye and cod), nice-ish broasted chicken and a pretty good roast beef in a pinch. Mashed taters are good and they have surprisingly fresh (crisp) green beans. Soups can work although they have less variety and rotation than they used to :(. Heads up not everyone wants veggie soup or chili every single time they visit. Yep burgers and fries are tasty and I am a sucker for the cheese curds. Service is highly hit or miss, portion sizes too. Friendliness can be had but it's definitely not a guarantee. I have had super customer service and I have had decidedly lackluster. It is always a long wait for drive through. Check to go bags no mattter where you acquire them before you leave though, accuracy is hit or miss too and they are horrible about any needed sauces or butter for the rolls. You will find it nice and clean inside, that's pretty constant at least and it is appreciated. The daily featured custards are never blended well. I have gotten stale tasting kitkats on a creation once too. My husband thinks this is in no way real custard, it melts too fast and is not rich enough. We only come for treats if we have a big coupon for them and my blood sugar is cooperating. This is where Westland is just so much better IMO, the treats. Skip the lemon ice at either place at any rate, it's just ummmm.... odd. It's about a three and a half overall. The bad times in here just always seem to happen at just the wrong time for us and we end up avoiding here for awhile or trucking out to Westland instead. read more

It was exciting until you got the burger and you realize it's a burnt extremely thin piece of meat on the bread It's literally smaller than McDonald's little $1 menu burgers which is terrible because of Culver's burgers cost $4 and up. You won't be satisfied with one patty, you need 2-3 patty burgers to enjoy it. Their chicken sandwich is good but it smells like they cook it in fish grease so you're not sure if you're eating fish or chicken. The only good thing about Culver's is there French fries.
