I always get a cheese steak with extra cheese and pepper's on the side and a small root beer. The service is fast as long as you get there before the lunch rush. But I don't mind standing in line. This time, I'm going to take home a lunch meat sub for later tonight. I don't think I've ever had one. My father was friends with the original owner. My dad worked at the Ford Rawsonville plant. He would take orders from the people on the line and go to Gabriels and pickup sometimes 20 hoagies or more. He told my dad for every ten that he ordered, he would give him a free one. For one the bread, while delicious, is way too delicate. If it absorbs too much moisture from the meat it will break in your hands while you are eating and then you are using a spoon at that point. Chewy, but fully done; no white fat but opaque fully cooked! Awesome burger. 9 out of 10. I also ordered a raspberry shake. It was good ( 6 out of 10 ) and shared it with my wife.
