Tried this restaurant the other day. It's a quaint little hole in the wall, specializing in dogs and sausages with unusual toppings. I had a Buffalo Billy, which had shredded chicken, Buffalo sauce, bleu cheese, and banana peppers. It was impossible to pick up the sausage due to the toppings and bedtimes of it, so I had to eat it with a fork and knife. That's not a complaint, mind you. It was hearty and delicious, and a reasonable price. I wasn't as impressed with the potatoes. They were watery, practically swimming in liquid, and the meat and cheese didn't make a difference; the texture just was unappealing. To-go service is interesting. You place the order and wait in your car and they bring it out. It was a hot day, so I can't say this was appealing, and I can't see how this will be any more amenable during colder weather, but perhaps it's a COVID precaution, to keep people from lingering in the dining room. Service was excellent. Very polite and friendly. The lady who brought me my food mistakenly brought a can of Pepsi with it, which I didn't order. When I mentioned I didn't, she insisted I keep it. She didn't have to do that, but the gesture was very sweet. Overall, a good experience with a quality dog. Worth the visit and I'll be back. read more

LAWD!!!!! This was amazing. I would have never dreamt of these combinations but they work and they are delicious. I ordered 2 (famous slaw and then the corned beef) because it's a hot dog right. I could only consume 1 whole and that was the slaw. It was very filling. I was stuffed but I had to try a piece of the corned beef one and it was just as amazing and the other one. I will definitely be back to try the other options. A plain hot dog with ketchup, mustard and onions just won't cut it anymore. read more

Omg...where do I start! First, the owners were awesome! Went with their recommendations and was NOT disappointed!! Had the Original Slaw dog with potato snack and their new BBQ Billy dog! The beef hot dog was cooked perfectly, juicy with enough snap. Toppings on dog was a delicious creamy slaw that they make fresh everyday, yummy seasoned ground beef and oozy cheese! All paired deliciously. The BBQ Billy was equally fantastic topped with cheese, red onion, bacon and a tangy BBQ sauce. Sweet and savory. The potato snack was a smothered concoction of potatoes, gooey cheese, and seasoned ground beef. Had the option of Cajun or ranch and went with the ranch. So so good! Will go again!! read more

I stopped by on my way home from work for a quick coney dog, but what I got at Slaw Dogs was so much better. Super friendly and helpful staff, unique menu, all beef hot dogs, quality toppings. 5 stars for the first review. I want to give them a chance since they are a local small business. This was my first time here. I first saw the place when I went to a diner in the same lot. It is tucked in so it is hard to see from the main road. I thought it looked delicious and interesting! Today I decided to get the classic Slaw Dog combo. Definitely a knife and forker. It was a most delicious large all beef (a must for me) hot dog topped with ground beef, a melty cheese and slaw. The sweetness of the slaw was an amazing contrast to the savory hotdog and cheese. I enjoyed every bite of it. I got the original potatoes as a side. I was surprised to see it crammed in a cup topped with ground beef and cheese. It was a messy guilty delight. Next time I'd like to try the garlic potatoes. Overall a great dog dog that hit the spot! Very friendly staff also! read more

The dogs themselves r on the bigger side and higher quality. They have a great taste on their own, but their toppings is what set it off . The combinations they use really hit the spot . Made an order on a Saturday through their online ordering option. Drove to their location to only find out that they were closed. It is now Tuesday and no one has tried to contact me about my order and I was charged for it. It probably would have been a good idea to either shut down your online ordering system since you were closed or checked your online system to see if anyone ordered on Saturday and contact them. read more

I came in today and ordered 4 dogs, 2 shakes, 1 side of beans, 1 side of coleslaw, 1 order of potato chunks-smothered. We didn't receive our coleslaw, 1 of our shakes were wrong, we have toppings on our hot dogs that didn't come with it, and our hot dogs were soggy when we're trying to eat them at home due to the wait in store. The owner was in the store and he was very kind, we were the only customers at that moment and he chatted with us and told us about the business, so I was very excited to try it. Im hoping we just caught you guys on an off day because your reviews are great and your food looks delicious.
