It's been years in the making, but I FINALLY went back to Five Guys after about 7 years. I placed the order online as I did back then, and I called the manager to ensure that the fries were made at the same time my burger and shake was. When I arrived, I waited less than 2 minutes for everything (as I should). I'll DEF go back, not only for those fat burgers, but also to be sure it wasn't a one off, and that this is now the norm. We added the cheese and it was absolutely amazing. Good to see that this burger joint can accommodate. The fries are traditional and taste delicious. Simple things done right, five guys. At least that's the idea. Sometimes it's just good but as I'm writing this review it was fantastic. The fries were crispy loaded with Cajun spices and the tasty burger was piled high with great toppings and that oh so soft bun. I really wish they could repeat this quality each time. Even the service reflected the food quality top notch. I'll admit sometimes it just ok but it's nothing compared to how the quality of the competition varies. Are use an extra scoop to intentionally throw a bunch into the bottom of the bag. The Cajun fries are perfectly seasoned. I'm so tired of so many products saying that they are Cajun style, but they don't have any heat. These have just the right amount of heat where you can still taste the fries. Totally true story: the very first time I ate at a Five Guys, it was in Leicester Square in London, England. And, the quality of the product was just as good as it is here. I'm truly astounded at how consistently great the food is, literally all over the world. Despite having a lot of business on Friday afternoon, they worked quickly, efficiently, and flawlessly. They got every particular detail of five different burgers correct. I have noticed that type of efficiency from this location for a very long time. They use standard brown bags, tinfoil, cups without all the advertisement. You could find any of the supplies at Gordon food service across America. Simple Decour inside. With all that, they are charging prices you will find at red Robin. Is the burger good here? Not too bad. The whole idea is you get to custom build your burger at no additional cost. There is free peanuts you can crack and snack. French fries are done in peanut oil, the large fry is pretty darn large. In summation, not a bad burger. If you want something quick this will do. We have been frequent customers. Very disappointed tonight. I ordered ahead on the app. The app showed that my order was completed for at least 20 minutes before they even started preparing it. They allowed unmasked people in the store, took their order, and allowed them to wait in the lobby. There is a mask required sign on the door. I understand that they don't want to have conflict, but they could have asked them to wait outside. The worst part is they were filling walk up orders and making the mobile orders who called ahead wait until after the walk ins were filled. All of the people who walked in after we informed the staff we were waiting on a completed order got their food before we did. Horrible experience. I haven't really been here in almost a decade. Nothing has changed except their prices. They really out here charging $8 for a smooshed cheeseburger and another $5 for some fries. You're walking out spending $20 dollars for mediocre food and feeling like you got ripped off. Is it better than McDonald's? Absolutely. Never disappoints. I get the double with cheese, raw onion , lettuce, mayo , mustard, and ketchup. Burger cooked medium the way I like it . The fries are hand cut the regular size is enough for two people. They have the freestyle Coke machine which is a plus for me I dig me some different flavored Coke. The strawberry milkshake was thick and creamy and had bits of real strawberry. CONS: Pricey. About $16 for a burger, fries and drink. Long lines. Be prepared to wait at lunch time. Milkshake size could have been bigger for the price charged. Everything tasted like one million calories. You will get fat eating here. I have been to this five guys location numerous times. The service at this location is average and the burgers are typically good. I find the bun almost always soggy and falls apart when trying to hold. I started to request and sauces on the side to prevent this. The fries are usually great and the portion size is generous.
