Came here with one of my friends on a Saturday night. I had a deep craving for 5 guys. Just like its other locations, their burgers really do hit the spot. Even if you get a small fry, it feel endless! I usually get a little hamburger (1 patty) with onions, grilled onions, green peppers, mayo, ketchup, lettuce, & grilled mushrooms. This place is fine but I'm blown away that so many people think they're the best burgers anywhere... I have to ask, have you ever tried a burger someone made at home, or any non-fast food burger? I should note that I didn't get cheese on my burger, but I wanted to see if the burgers were really as life changing as many people suggest they are. And I can tell you that they're not. I got a Bacon Burger + jalapenos and I would say I was probably disappointed for a few reasons. First of all, the meat just didn't have any seasoning to it at all -- it just tasted like beef. The bacon was burnt/too crispy and didn't do anything for me. To top it all off, I found my burger to be borderline dry. I also tend to not add many condiments to my burger because I like to showcase the beef, but in this case, I wish I had put some on. It's almost as if the burgers here are too lean -- that or my burger was simply cooked a little too long. I did like the fresh jalapenos on my burger, and they were actually spicy. I prefer pickled jalapenos most of the time, but these ones get my approval. The buns at Five Guys are "no frills" which is usually a positive, and here that's no different. I've also heard a bunch of people claim Five Guys' fries are "the best"... I call them "the bit better than average." I got cajun fries and the seasoning on them was really good, but I mean... nothing about the fries themselves was particularly exciting. I don't know why people seem to think these fries stand out above the rest. Yeah, this is what non-frozen fries taste like. I do love the fact you get an American-sized portion of fries here... it's kind of out of control. A regular order of the fries is more than enough for two human-sized humans. For burgers AND fries I'd sooner head a quarter mile back east and go to Achatz Burgers. You get better value at Five Guys, but the food just isn't as good/stand out-ish. Or if you're really hungry for a burger and willing to drive a few miles out of the way, I'd definitely recommend Abby Lane in Fraser... maybe the best burger I've ever had with unreal onion rings. I'd not oppose to going to Five Guys again, but I wouldn't suggest it to anyone with so many better burgers in the area at a comparable price. read more

I came here for a quick lunch while in the area and I guess I forgot how much salt that Five Guys puts on their fries but I had to pretty much throw them away because they were not edible with the amount they had put on. I also got a bacon cheese hot dog which came with the bun separated before I even got to my first bite...it was a poor presentation for something I paid over $10 for. read more

Good food! Gone to this Five Guys for a couple years. And it has always been a good experience, but lately it's been very dirty inside. Tables and chairs not wiped off floors very dirty I had to swap out chairs because it had onions and mushrooms on it and I'm not touching that. I have one "F" word for Five Guys.... FANTABULOUS! This is probably the BEST cheap burger I've ever had. The beef is well done, but still greasy and juicy, and I love that they have about 20 toppings you can pick from... I got the "all the way" option on a bacon cheeseburger - ketchup, mustard, mayo, grilled onions, grilled mushrooms, lettuce, pickles, tomatoes and green peppers. My only gripe - they need a bigger bun for all that stuff! Honestly it was too big for me to eat I will probably go for a little or a single patty burger next time. My bf got a burger too along with an all beef hot dog with ketchup, mustard, grilled onions, relish and jalepenos! The jalapenos aren't pickled, they are fresh, which adds a great flavor (not too spicy either). Umm..... CAJUN FRIES?! Yes they are delicious! a regular order is more than enough for two to share, and I have to disagree with Loreen B. - the fries have more of a Cajun flavor than actual spicy heat. (To compare, I think the Hot sauce at taco bell delivers more heat than the fries) Also, while you're waiting for your burger, you can pop some salted peanuts in your mouth, like the kind the have at a ball game - they're sitting around in boxes all over the restaurant - it's a free for all! :) This was a great find! read more

It's a simple truth that the further the owner/manager is from a restaurant, the worse the food. When I saw the owner himself there gladhanding customers and helping to clear trays, I knew I was in for a good meal. Now, due to an upcoming event that mandates I look good in a perfectly fitted, large white dress, I couldn't indulge in what I really wanted: a goopy cheeseburger with mushrooms and extra bacon. However, their veg burger (lettuce tomatoes, grilled onions and mushrooms, cheese an pickles) hit the spot and the fries were great. I also appreciated the endless supply of both sweet and unsweet iced tea, along with the in-shell peanuts. Who knew that peanuts were such a good side dish for a burger and fries? PS. Was told about a friend to try this place out... glad I did!! The place was hoppin' when we walked in around 3 pm.. I was happy to see all the bags of potatoes laying around (part of their decor, and charm) and my mouth started to water! Nothing like fresh cut fries!! We waited in line and when we got up to the front we pretty much had it down. We ordered "little" burgers, which are like regular size to me. The "regular" burger was way too big! And we got one order of fries to split and there were still some left after we ate til we almost burst! The seating isn't the greatest.. bartop tables with little stools, but the food was so good, I could have been eating in the bottom of a volcano and wouldn't have minded. First time ever trying Five Guys and I am disappointed... Waited in line for about 10 minutes due to the cashier flirting with a group of boys. Who then after ordering still blocked the register. The cashier wasn't friendly. Please smile. I've worked drive throughs and have managed fast food chains. Customer service is important. We had are order togo. (One double cheese burger plain with fries and one kosher dog) the fries were way over salted to the point they weren't edible, the burger was smashed together and the hot dog bun soggy and broken. Only reason the review is getting two stars is because the shakes were good and the lady that made them was friendly. We would have gladly turned around to have things remade but we're in a rush due to having to get to work. Over all the meal wasn't worth the almost 24.00 price tag it came with. read more

We got our first Five Guys in CT not too long ago, but I have yet not had a chance to get out there, so while on vacation in Michigan for my cousin's wedding, my girlfriend and I decided to give it a try. My review should actually probably be a 3.5 star review, but I'm not giving it a 4. Here is the breakdown: BURGER: Unbelievably juicy! I couldn't believe this was a fast-food burger. So tender, juicy and yummy! I've had quite a few burgers in my day, and was just saying the other day that a burger is a burger. I've had $30 hamburgers in Vegas -- NONE have been this juicy and tasty. Good on ya, Five Guys!! 5 STAR BURGER! FRIES: Ehh, not my favorite fry ever. We went with the cajun fries. I love cajun fries, but wasn't in love with these. Maybe it's because I'm used to processed, nasty fries, but these were just ok to me. 2.5 STAR FRIES. So, I stand corrected. The rule/law of rounding says you need to round up to the nearest whole number, so I'm giving Five Guys a 4-Star review since 5 Stars and 2.5 stars = 3.75 average. read more

Hate to be disagreeable, and perhaps I just had a bad experience, but here's my thinking on this place. Pros: Food was clearly fresh. Service was good. They're true to their name. They pretty much have burgers, fries and coke. Cons: The burgers were not great. They weren't greasy, rather they were quite dry. Though they included a large array of topping options at no charge, the toppings weren't that great. My cheeseburger came with a choice of American cheese. Now, I understand that type of lack of selection at a generic fast food place, but for a 50 cent premium and already looking at over $5.00 for a burger, this was pretty pathetic. Oh yes, and it tasted like American Cheese. The fries ... well ... I've made homemade fries with regular potatoes, and they were dramatically better than this. Final Thoughts: After tax this was about a nine dollar lunch. When I got back to my car I noticed the McDonald's next door and thought, I could have spent $5.00 and enjoyed the food as much despite the less fresh ingredients and lower quality beef. On the flip-side, I ate about 4 hours ago and I'm still feeling lousy, so the nine bucks purchased me the experience of eating a bad burger for half the day. Yay! read more

Ok - I travel for business A LOT and have been a fan of Five Guys for a few years. They're common around D.C. (where I first became aware of them) and down the east coast from there. When I first noticed that store on Hall Road getting ready to open I was thrilled. Same great service and product I'm used to getting in Chantilly, VA, Kitty Hawk, NC and Macon, GA. This is my first time eating at five guys. My step Daughter wanted to go eat there so I figured why not. Atmosphere: Very Basic, nothing special. Apparently they give you free peanuts to snack on and hey you can't beat a free snack. The inside of this particular location kind of reminds me of a kitchen environment. walls are painted red and white and all you see aside from tables is the kitchen. Seating is basically wood tables and chairs so Comfort is out the window. Which didn't matter to us because we had our order to go. Staff: Friendly, Quick to take our and quick to serve our order. Nothing really more to say here. Food: Not impressed at all. For the price I paid I'd expect something a bit more tasty and a lot less greasy and sad looking. Now, I am not sure if this is how Five Guys does it or I just got a raw deal either way the experience wasn't so great for me. The Fries were soggy, and tasted like fries do after leaving them in the fridge over night. The burger itself was very greasy so greasy that the bun was actually falling apart. It is almost as if they don't bother to drain the grease from their fries or burgers. The Bag had grease all over it that it nearly ripped apart on the bottom. Napkins they provided, yeah they went right into the trash, soggy with all that grease. I get burgers and fries are supposed to be greasy and juicy but when it feels like your drinking grease it can feel and taste nasty. As for the taste of the actual burger, it tasted very bland and like it had absolutely nothing on it but grease, Not even salt. I like to compare foods that I eat at restaurants, fast foods and pubs.. In comparing this burger to an old Detroit Burger, it does not even compare Old Detroit Beats a five guys burger hands down. For a family of four (two adults, two young kids (4 and 6), I went with 3 small hamburgers (splitting one among the kids). One large fry is enough for everyone. The manager threw in some free kid cups for the kids. We ate like champs for under twenty bucks. We still had some food leftover. If you are really hungry go with the regular burger. Plus they have Gold Peak Ice Tea. Always a plus in my book. Definitely go back again. read more

Normally I love 5 Guys... first time coming to this one... how disappointing to get our food... we received burgers and a grilled cheese with burnt bacon... when we brought it to their attention we were told that bacon is made in the morning (we were there for dinner).... then the manager was brought over from the grill and she said it looked a little dark.... although they did replace the sandwich it could have been done so without the attitude.... then to top it off the manager on duty was the one dancing around and hollering the loudest... will never be back to that location read more

Last time I ordered from them I received no shake because my door dash driver took off with it. So that was fine I called the store and the lady manager took my name and said I could come in and get it or call next time I order through door dash. So I called in today to let them know I was supposed to get a free shake with my order this time. So the gm answered and apparently their store isn't supposed to do that so the other manager lied to me. But the gm said we will do it this time but they really arent supposed to. My dasher just got to my door and again theres no shake, so the gm lied to me.
