February 28, 2024 - Wednesday Review # 462 I am updating my previous review from 11/14/2016. Today I have seen and can say I'm happy and pleased with my current observations at this busy Arby's! I walked in on Monday the 26th for a mini lunch plus to cash in for a order of FREE Curly Fires. I brought in the Hockey Game Scoresheet when the Red Wings won on Sunday as my voucher. :-) I noticed right a way when walking in this Arby's, clean tables and chairs, along with clean areas by garbage cans and the floors. I was seen and acknowledged from a female staff ( didn't catch her name) that she would be with Me in a moment after giving out food for a drive-thru order. Yes she was prompt and courtesy to take my order for two mini roast beef and swiss cheese sliders and gave her the hockey scoresheet for My Free order of Curly Fries. I noticed great organization in the kitchen and team members working quick to speed up orders both inside and drive-thru. My order was complete in 8 minutes and off i cruised home with my bag and hunger. I posted photos of the clean counter and beverage areas too plus Lemonade Sign. Upon arriving home in 10 minutes My lunch was still hot and tasty to enjoy for My Monday lunch. The roast beef slider meat was well cooked, flavorful and stacked with swiss cheese. Just like their slogan says: "Arby's We Have The Meats!" Noted on the receipt is Manager Darnell Ruffin, so I thank you and the teamwork of your employees along with hospitality and delicious food. I also completed the Arby's survey at the bottom of my receipt with high praise comments. I am looking forward again, to dine inside at this location and enjoy a delicious wrap or sandwich meal with a "Mint Shake" for the month of March most definitely! 9 PM Friday night I go to order a gyro and potato cakes. I didn't know potato cakes were back till last week so I went to get another sandwich today. Not worried about the cost, which is first off stealing. For your what you serve, your stealing. But let's get back to the drive-through. Gyro Greek and 4 potato cakes. And I was told, oh man we ain't got those no more! I ask when did this happen? I just had last week to no reply. So I kindly said forget it then I don't want it and I take off from the drive-through and I hear wait. What what what? Wait what you don't wanna do your job you lazy pos. Boycotted you because of your quality of slop you offer. Now you're going back to stupid shit. And before any of you bleeding hurts, say anything 9 PM they have another hour there is nobody there. This location gets a bad rep from everyone I've been here plenty of times and foods always great and speedy.

My food was good, however, it was pretty busy this was around 12:15 PM and I've noticed two of the employees walk out of the back door and proceed to have a cigarette break in the midst of five cars being in the drive-through. This has to be the best Arby's I have ever been too. It is very clean, food is fresh an fast. Enjoyed my experience here with my family this Sunday afternoon, while taking advantage of the $1 menu from 2-5pm. 8 people total bill was $26.52 great deals as well. read more

I made my last stop at this Arbys tonight. Once again I am told that an item is discontinued. Who discontinues a fish sandwich? When they had the "Diablo" sandwich last year, this location informed me they didnt make them. Also today I tried to get a couple shakes and was told that the shake machine was down for cleaning for the weekend. The weekend.. I thought I would retype it to emphasize how dumb it is. Booooo! Arby's Boooo! A friend and myself have eaten here and had bathroom issues the next day. Not only that I wanted a different bun option it took a manager to come explain the different options. I always ask for extra red ranch, but maybe it means not to add red ranch at all when you hear it? Because my sandwich's never have it when I ask for it. The (i am assuming) male manager there was THE MOST rudest person I have ever come across in my 50-plus years as a patron to many establishments. Let me preface by saying I am aware of covid and empathize with what we all have been through but his behavior is unacceptable. I placed an order through the drive thru and his tone used with customers (I could hear him talk to people before and after me) was VERY condescending! I had inadvertently forgot to order a cherry turnover for my husband so at the window I apologized But I forgot to order a (as in one) turnover and could they add it. Immediately after I said that the man behind her yelled "NO ADDONS!" and she apologized profusely but told me if I wanted one I would have to go around again and order it so I said "you're kidding right? well then I guess I'll just come in and order one" to which she replied "I'm sorry but the restaurant is closed to people coming in". Her excuse to me was they were slammed and she was told she couldn't do an "addon". They were not "slammed". When I was at the window there were two cars behind me and no one came after that becuz I immediately went back around and ordered the stupid turnover (only becuz it was for my husband otherwise I would have told them to forget the order completely!!). I think his attitude and behavior was totally inappropriate! I understand if I wanted another meal or even another sandwich; something they would have had to put together but a measly turnover? and with an attitude to boot? Never again!! That person should not be in the service industry!! Today on my lunch shift I had bbq bourbon steak sandwich I will say the bourbon bbq sauce dose a well job at enhancing the steak, but it was way too mutch I will say good sandwich. Just please control the amount of sauce and you'll have a gold mine the milk shake I had the orange cream milkshake is delicious and delightful I'd wish that this shake would be a permanent shake on the Arby's menu so that's why you get 4 star rating it would have been a 5 star rating if the sauce essentially covered the lower bun sloppy. read more

I'm not quite sure how to rate my most recent experience here. The young man who helped my fiance and I was kind and got our order correct, as well as in a timely manner. However, what I was completely unimpressed with the management. I visited on Sunday, December 31 around 1 pm or so. The young man who helped us also helped the next person who came in. Unfortunately, I think he put her order in slightly wrong. The customer was kind enough when this was pointed out to her. But the manager was just terrible. She publicly berated and humiliated this young man in front of every single patron in the establishment. She would not stop reiterating how he made a stupid mistake and needs to pay better attention, as well as how he is just awful and blah blah blah. She kept going and going and getting louder and louder. Meanwhile, this young man was standing there, taking it in stride and keeping his cool. He did not snap back at her at all, except to say it was a mistake and why he made the mistake and that he was sorry. She did not want to accept that. She then proceeded to make the situation worse and DIDN'T fix the customer's order before she decided to yell and the young man to come outside with her. She took him outside, and basically shoved his face in the posters on the window that advertise the sale that he rang up wrong. It was horrible to watch, and I wanted to say something to her, but as soon as she came back inside and made him ring the order up again, she stormed out the back, lit up a cigarette, got in her car, and drove away. They're rationing Arby's sauce to one per sandwich for some reason; won't be eating here again.

Are you kidding me? No Roastbeef? At Arby's? 10:25 p.m., they close at 11 p.m. and they have no Roastbeef!!!! I said "this is Arby's right?" The girl laughed and then asked if I wanted to order anything else, I ordered a Turkey Bacon Ranch, "we have no Turkey!" so... I had to order my pregnant wife something... ok... "Corned beef sandwich, extra sauce and a 6 piece cheese stick with a large pepsi xtra ice" get to the window and the girl Emily W. says, "sorry this has been the busiest day ever".. I say, "My kids wirk at the Arby's on Gratiot in Chesterfield Township, they tell me how many Roastbeef's are in a store and they could never run out." she says nothing. Obviously they didn't want to slice another one up. "We have the meat?" So I get no manager when she knew I was furious, then it took 3 minutes to write a managers name down on my reciept, which happened to be the same name as the girl helping me, she just changed her last initial... get my food, bring it home.. 5 minutes away... sandwich = no sauerkraut at all and ice cold... cheese stick 6 piece = 5 pieces delivered and ice cold. Large Pepsi xtra ice= warm Pepsi with no ice!!!! I call the store... no one will answer!!! I leave a message and now I am disgusted with this place... no professionalism and no accountability! This Arby's is by far the worst Arby's I have ever been to. Every single time I go there the staff always seems so miserable and act like it's such a hassle to wait on me but I kept returning because the location is so close to home and never busy (HMM I wonder why?!) but the night before last my boyfriend and I ordered 2 sandwiches that were supposed to have bacon on them and when we got home both of the sandwiches didn't have the bacon. They never informed us of being out of bacon and just acted like everything was fine. That was strike 1 and we let that slide. Strike 2 happened the following night, my boyfriend went back and ordered us the same sandwiches, this time I received mine but apparently the other one was invisible because it wasn't in any of our bags. My boyfriend called and talked to a girl named Emily, she was extremely rude to him and was completely defensive the whole time. I understand why she was defensive due to it being the holiday season and also no matter what time of year people are always trying to complain to get free food from restaurants. I get that, I've worked in restaurants my whole life but she could have handled it more professionally. She claims she made BOTH of our sandwiches and that they both made it into our bags. My boyfriend checked his car and we double checked all of the bags we received and still, we only had one sandwich. They also never included a receipt in the bag or with the purchase. How hard is it to make 2 sandwiches and make sure they get into a customer's bag and out a delivery window?! It's not rocket science. This isn't NASA. This location needs to have a team meeting and go over proper ways to construct an order. 2 days in a row with orders messed up is uncalled for especially when we were the ONLY customers getting waited on BOTH times.
