I became familiar with Chadd's Bistro when it was included in Yelp's "top 100 places to eat in the U.S." list in 2022. It made that same list in 2017 and 2018, as well. Originally located in Rochester Hills, Chadd's is now in Shelby Township. The menu features over 3 dozen sandwiches, and there is a full bar. The bread and sauces are all made in-house, as well. My wife and I began our meal with poutine. Despite being a bit salty, it was one of the better poutines I've had locally. For our main course, we shared 3 sandwiches: the cheese steak supreme, the Italian sub, and the Monte Cristo. The cheese steak was flavorful, but could've used more cheese. The Monte Cristo was enjoyable. I found it to be more savory than sweet. The Italian was the best of the 3 sandwiches. I liked that the meats were sautéed, that the tomatoes were diced rather than sliced, and the addition of pickles. All in all, Chadd's has a quality sandwich for everyone on its menu.

First time at this restaurant where I ended up ordering their BLT with chips and got a Woodford Reserve Old Fashioned for my drink. The sandwich was well made, quite tasty where the toasted house made white bread and generous amounts of thick cut bacon made this a superior crafted sandwich. My only minor gripe with the Sandwich was that the mayo was too lightly applied and needed a tad more amount to augment the flavor. Relative to the Old Fashioned, it was was well made with a nice amount of Orange bitters complementing the Bourbon, a Black Amarena cherry as garnish which is a higher end cherry that is not typically served with most bars, and a large whiskey Ice cube in the glass (nice!). The $9. price point for this drink, especially with the Woodford Reserve Bourbon is a great deal by any standard. On the flip side I did have one minor gripe with this drink as is it needed a tad more simple syrup (assuming it was there in the first place) to make this a top shelf cocktail in my opinion. Relative to the restaurant, it is fairly large, quite clean and has some TV's strategically scattered about with Sports program playing which I definately enjoyed watching while eating my dinner. The wait staff was very friendly with good follow up throughout the meal and is another strength of this business. Overall I was quite pleased with this initial dining experience where the minor items I mentioned prevented me from giving this establishment 5 stars. Having said that, this is a very good restaurant that I will definately revisit the next time I am in the Utica area.

Went for lunch on a weekday. The service was great. Incredibly friendly and she shared favorites from their large menu. I loved their game wall and would love to cole back for dinner with my family. The portions were good size and my sandwich was amazing! They have a full bar with counter seating and some TVs. Kinda eclectic. Cool interesting vibe. But honestly the best part was the MOST DELICIOUS homemade sauces. I will ho back just for those.

Finally check this place out and was pleasantly surprised. Food was awesome. We got the Cubano sub, turkey melt sandwich, and a pizza. All were awesome! Good music at just the right volume. Just about every board game, you can imagine available to play for free. And of course, the service was superior. Jessica rocks! We will be back.

Great place actually owned by Chadd! I had the Hardcore Joe...chicken breast with good spices. Their bread is so good! Everything there is freshly made. Some would say it's expensive...but it's all so fresh you ARE getting what you pay for! They could do fries better. They weren't really hot and completely unsalted Good atmosphere and friendly service.

Amazing sandwiches as always. Best homemade bread and condiments. The ketchup is my favorite. Service is always great. The inside is very clean and inviting.

    Turkey Supreme

Ordered Turkey Supreme Sub. Disappointed after reading the reviews. Maybe a bad night? This sub includes dark meat, not a fan of dark meat and both light and dark meat were dry. A few pieces of lettuce was wilted and mushed into the two tablespoons of diced tomatoes, instead of sliced tomatoes (none of which was fresh) bacon was burnt and old, couldn't find the provolone, guacamole or mayo. Giving one star to post review.

We got fried artichokes, fries, housemade ketchup and bistro sauce, and Hardcore Joes. Such. Good. Food. If they ever offer a gluten free bread, I'll be doing backflips of joy

My only wish is for them to expand their offerings just a little to include a few traditional staples like Skordalia, Taramasalata and stuffed grape leaves. And if they ever decide to add those classic dinner choices--you know, the ones with the lemon-roasted potatoes and perfectly "overcooked" green beans--or have a dessert special like Ekmek, I think I might faint! I know they'd execute it perfectly. I have to say, their "pink Greek" dressing is, hands down, the best I've ever had, and it truly deserves a James Beard award. Opa! Go here immediately.

When I ordered online it said about 40 minutes. This is how long it says for just about anything I've ever ordered from here. Must be a default. When I pulled up the parking lot was pretty empty and the first thing I thought was that this pie was not going too hot because I am sure they made it right away. And I was actually 5 minutes early from the stated pick up time. There is usually a wait once you get in but my pizza was already done. When the girl handed me the box I immediately put my hand under the box and it was not hot. It was a 5 minutes drive home so it was only getting colder. When I did get home, I opened the box it looked great. I love their muffulettas so making a pizza out of the bread is a great idea. As I grabbed my first slice I noticed the pizza was not even warm. It had to have sat for 10 minutes before I even picked it up which is what I was worried about. Then, as I was trying to get the slice out I noticed that hardly any of the slices were cut all the through. I tried 3 different slices and none were cut through so I couldn't eat anything until I went looking for my pizza cutter. Yes, I had to basically slice up the whole pizza and the cutlines that were there, were not even. Some very large slices, some very small pieces. Not sure how you get slices that different in size. It was actually annoying. The taste was great, crust was cold but still very crispy. The cheese and sauce were so cold that they were already starting to thicken. Not exactly what I would expect with a $28 pie. And yes, not only did I have to cut my own pizza, I also had to microwave my slices after the first slice I ate. There was zero stretch to the cheese. So as I said, I don't think I got the best version of this pizza. It was a $28 pie that I had to cut up myself and warm it up in a microwave and that's after being early to pick it up. Not sure I'd order this again, I was really disappointed.
