I ordered the Brisket sandwich, fries and a drink. It was all fine. I love the fatty portion of the brisket. The dry part less so. There was too much of the latter and not enough of the former. The one thing they really lack here is a Carolina vinegar based sauce. The other sauces don't really inspire me. Please add a Carolina sauce. All that said, the older gentleman who was porting and bussing tables is a real charmer and obviously enjoys his job explaining the virtues of Mission BBQ food preparations.

However she did not ask one of us in our party how we wanted our steak and the kitchen defaulted to well done. It took (as a manager stated) 15 minutes on top of the already 25 minutes we waited for our food to get a replacement. Because of this, one person from our party didn't get to enjoy dinner with us and had to take their food home. The manager did not even discount us for this. Just gave a generic "it takes 13-15 minutes to cook a so and so style steak". They could have discounted or gave something as a courtesy due to this mistake. The rolls don't taste the same. They don't taste like fresh hot rolls, they taste like pre made in the freezer buns. They are also small. The ribs don't taste grilled either. They taste boiled and then on the grill for a few minutes to get grill marks. Very disappointing that I have rewards account, but there are no real rewards to redeem as well. We needed to get 2 points potato salad to go, that came to $16. I've gotten it before. The potato salad usually comes to the top of the pint. I opened them and neither one of them were to the top. The pic is the worst one. It looks like someone already took some out. I asked the kid if he could fill it up more and he said it's supposed to be that way. No more tips for them!!!

What's even worse is that she didn't wash her hands after smoking before taking our order or afterwards for that matter. We ended up ordering the beach burger and the pulled pork (which the owner assured us was widely loved) with slim fries. When we received our meal, it was greasy and gross, and tasteless. Within a few minutes the chips got cold, making them inedible. I will never give this place a chance again.
