We ordered a large square pizza with two kinds of pepperoni, a large antipasto salad, and an order of lasagna. The pizza was like eating pizza when we were kids in the 1970s. It had plenty of cheese; we didn't have to order extra! The crust was fluffy and not like a brick. The pizza sauce was perfect! It is a little sweet to counteract the natural acidic bite of the tomato. This complements the cheese and the pepperoni perfectly. The two-pepperoni combination is the best of both worlds. I love the cupped pepperoni, also old school, with the little pool of grease in the middle. The flat pepperoni is a little milder but still good. The salad was perfect. It was loaded with meat and cheese. I love the homemade Italian dressing on the side. It reminded me of the salads I made in the Italian bakery I worked at. The lasagna was one of the best I have ever eaten. It has a rich meat sauce, is stuffed with ricotta cheese, and layered between perfectly cooked lasagna noodles. It is covered with mozzarella cheese and more meat sauce. It came out of the oven lightly browned and bubbling. It comes with a breadstick too, to sop up all the leftover meat sauce. It was so filling I only ate half of it. We have ordered multiple times since then, both pick up and delivery. Ron and George are always friendly on the phone or in person. The delivery guy is super friendly and always makes sure to get our pizza to us hot! Try Anthony's Pizza once, and you will find out why it is the #1 rated pizza place in Warren, Michigan.
