I am not new to Middle Eastern food so I can say with confidence that the flavors were consistent with a much more expensive sit down style restaurant. Highly recommended you stop in and give it a try.

They have patio seating by the fountain which is dog friendly, so we sat here since she brought her dog Morris with us. One of the downsides of eating here is the patio is overrun with bees. The hostess warned us and it was kind of bad. It made the experience less fun, and I think they need to address the situation somehow. There was also a lot of bees by the dirty dish area where the servers clear your plate. Kind of a turnoff. The menu has enough of a selection that you can find what you're looking for here. I went with the 2 birria taco meal with a choice of side, so I chose rice and beans. They also have a 3 taco option with no side, but I wasn't feeling the third taco. Total price was $16 and change before tip. Not bad. The other thing, was our server on the patio wasn't the quickest. Even though we didn't mind at first, it started to bother us at the end because we were getting tired of the heat and bills, and we had to go inside not once but twice to ask for him to come to our table. Maybe if we had sat inside it would've been quicker, but it really dragged the meal out. I forgot that this place used to be a Max & Erma's back in the day. Not sure what happened to that place, but at one point in my life it really was a fun place to go. I guess not anymore since most if not all locations have closed. Such is life I guess. Anyway, I would return in the future but no sitting on the patio anymore if I can help it. Between the bee problem and slow service, I'm eating inside!

I am mainly writing this review for people who are…read moretrying to get a quick breakfast before work or picking up lunch during the work day, to caution you that this location is pretty slow. I have ordered a couple of times now and don't think I'll be back to the Roseville Panera. They seem to be frequently out of key ingredients. When I made a breakfast order, they didn't have any eggs (so basically couldn't get any breakfast sandwich). When I wanted to order a salad for lunch, they were out of the green goddess dressing (that's my go-to Panera salad). Had issues with service being slow when I ordered lunch for pickup while at work. I arrived right when the app said my food should have been ready, and then I waited for a full 20 more minutes at the pickup counter. I definitely feel for the workers who were there that day, because there were several customers who were quite rude to them when it seemed like the employees were doing their best with a short staff and too many orders. However, I do think there needs to be some process improvements with organization behind the counter, because the app told me my order was ready, and I could see a bag behind the counter, but they didn't realize it was my order until about 5 minutes later when another customer and I were able to get their attention and asked whose order was sitting behind the counter. Not sure why they wouldn't immediately put the bag on the pickup area as soon as it's ready? I noticed another review where a customer had the same experience, so it seems to be somewhat of a pattern. TL;DR: The food is fine. Service is slow and this location seems to be frequently out of some ingredients. Would not recommend if you are trying to get a quick lunch while at work, or are otherwise on a time crunch.

The sandwich was phenomenal. It gave me a slight Panera Bread vibe, but somehow managed to be even better. The mac and cheese was absolutely amazing with the perfect amount of flavor and trust me I know good mac and cheese. The broccoli cheddar soup was exactly what I needed in the freezing cold weather. It was creamy, comforting, and delicious. On top of that, the aesthetics Potbelly has on their menu and overall presentation give the ambiance a solid 10 out of 10. My food was delivered with super fast service through DoorDash, and my soup was still hot when it arrived, which is always a win. I ordered the chicken club sandwich, and it was fabulous.
