The flip flop cookies looked like a toddler decorated them, not that it would stop someone from eating them, but they didn't look professional or fresh at all. My daughter sometimes stops here for supper on the way home. Last week she ordered a Strawberry Poppyseed Salad for me. When I opened it, I had the wrong dressing, no chicken and barely any fruit. I called the store and they said they would put my name down for a free salad and bakery item. Tonight my daughter went there and they did NOT have my name down. Nitin made this experience perfect!!!!!!The food was beyond perfect. Normally I come inside so I don't have to deal with delivery but today I wasn't feeling too well. I ordered off the website, not it would direct me to a DoorDash driver. If I knew that I would've ordered off DoorDash, but no worries I was having some complications with my order so I called up to the store and spoke to one of the nicest understanding people I've ever met NITIN I explained my concerns and he relieved me of them also gave me an extra sandwich and some chips and cookies. horrible store and staff. My 12-year-old son and I went to this location on Gratiot and Masonic. When we walked in, no one acknowledged us even after we said good evening and hello to two workers near the counter. A girl who had been cleaning the tables and sweeping finally walked over and took our order. We ordered our usual two Asian salads with extra dressings and our bacon turkey bravo sandwich. When we got home to eat our meal, our sandwich did not have bacon, It did not have cheese, it did not have a tomato nor did it have any type of dressing or sauce that normally comes on it. Our salad had two different dressings with it, not to mention they didn't give us the extra dressing that we asked for and said we would pay if there was an added fee for the extra dressing. On top of the food being messed up, the entire experience was awful The staff that was preparing our food in the back was talking very loud and laughing and talking rather trashy and often swore in their loud conversation. My son's eyes lit up once one of the workers said Mother F'ing, in her conversatio. So disgusted how trashy and disgusting the evening staff acted and presented themselves for a great restaurant. I just want to say I over reacted the night I gave this location a bad review. I will say Tara is an amazing manager, watching her she is all over! She's doing everything she can and dealing with difficult customers like me. I am very thankful for her and I will continue to come to this location at least once a week. The food was fine, about expected for Panera. I am mainly writing this review for people who are trying to get a quick breakfast before work or picking up lunch during the work day, to caution you that this location is pretty slow. I have ordered a couple of times now and don't think I'll be back to the Roseville Panera. They seem to be frequently out of key ingredients. When I made a breakfast order, they didn't have any eggs (so basically couldn't get any breakfast sandwich). When I wanted to order a salad for lunch, they were out of the green goddess dressing (that's my go-to Panera salad). Had issues with service being slow when I ordered lunch for pickup while at work. I arrived right when the app said my food should have been ready, and then I waited for a full 20 more minutes at the pickup counter. I definitely feel for the workers who were there that day, because there were several customers who were quite rude to them when it seemed like the employees were doing their best with a short staff and too many orders. However, I do think there needs to be some process improvements with organization behind the counter, because the app told me my order was ready, and I could see a bag behind the counter, but they didn't realize it was my order until about 5 minutes later when another customer and I were able to get their attention and asked whose order was sitting behind the counter. Not sure why they wouldn't immediately put the bag on the pickup area as soon as it's ready? I noticed another review where a customer had the same experience, so it seems to be somewhat of a pattern. TL;DR: The food is fine. Service is slow and this location seems to be frequently out of some ingredients. Would not recommend if you are trying to get a quick lunch while at work, or are otherwise on a time crunch. read more

We decided to get some Panera after playing at Chuck E Cheese with the family. Since I was with other people who were paying with cash I didn't use a kiosk to order and was waiting at the counter for someone to help. It was after 7 so they weren't very busy but they seemed short staffed. A nice lady with reddish brown hair stepped out of her station and told me that she was going to get someone to help. Darrius came and helped take our massive order. He was extremely friendly and helpful making sure we got exactly what we wanted to try and he went out of his way to help my kids grandpa pick what he wanted and explained every item. He spent quite a while with us and was very attentive and I was shocked when he repeated our order how every little thing was right about it. The crowd I was with wasn't the easiest to please so that was pleasantly surprising. The restaurant was clean and we found a nice table to sit at and wait. Our order came up quickly and the food was very good. Only thing is the chicken was forgotten on two of the salads. I went back to let them know at the counter. Darrius was quick to correct that and brought it out to us. I placed another drink order as we were finishing our food and the girl who took it was very nice as well and got the order perfectly. Panera has gone downhill in the past 10 years but this location specifically is not good. The service is usually fine however the quality is never up to par. This past week I placed a rapid pick-up order and arrived at the store minutes after it said it was ready. When I walked in my food was not ready, no biggie it was busy and I didn't mind waiting. Once it got to the point where I had been waiting 30 minutes and people who placed orders before me were heading out I asked how long the wait would be. The girl at the front counter just told me they were 13-ish orders behind. So I continued waiting. It got to the point where I was waiting an hour and I knew something was wrong. However, when I tried to ask the person at the front counter if she could check on my order she kept dismissing me and not believing that something happened with my order. After trying to explain to her for 15 minutes my order was missing, she finally asked for it to be remade, which took an additional 20 minutes. And to my surprise, they did not even remake my order correctly. Panera is not the best quality but in a pinch its okay, but I do not recommend this location at all. read more

I used to get Panera all the time when I did Landscaping, but I never sat in much. I only ever sat in on weekends with the family. The broccoli soup group meal is a great deal and feeds a family, or a group of workers easily. My mom loves to buy their italian bread, and they always give us lots of butter. I came into this location and used the mini computer systems for the first time. I was confused at first, but it was innovative and exciting. There was not a line, but my friend wanted to show me how to use it in the future if I pay by card. You can customize your order on there and take your time as well. The place was pretty booming and busy, with some individuals in a little business meeting or those working on homework. It was very lively, and still easy to find a spot to sit. The food came out speedy quick, which was impressive. I was happy because I only had an hour lunch. The soup was fresh and hot. They gave me a bigger piece of bread than what I am used to, and it was fresh too. I will definetely be back here again if I want lunch for my internship. read more

I also don't like the pre-order kiosks because they are not user friendly if you need to customize and if you stand in line then or people jump ahead of you witH app orders aNd kiosk orders. I feel that if I'm visiting a restaurant they should have a priority to the customer at the register.
