Definitely would order this again. The chicken wings were pretty small but the sauce on them was very good albeit a bit spicy for some maybe. The Greek salad had a decent amount of toppings except maybe not quite enough feta to go around. I think the poor ratings here might be associated with the old owners. I ordered online and did a carryout order for gluten-free pizza. The process was relatively easy and the pizza was great. The gluten-free crust hardly tasted gluten-free and had the texture of a normal pizza. The inside of Louise is very similar to the previous owners decor. We tried Louie's Pizza for the first time tonight and we were happy with it! The new owners are working hard to rebuild the reputation of Louie's Pizza and I think they're on the right track! We kept it simple and ordered two large pepperoni pizzas - one square and one round. We tried the spicy pepperoni on the round and asked for it charred! It was really good! Our only notes: If you like crispy crust, ask for the square pizza well done. It's soft and chewy otherwise, but the dough is light and airy and fresh so it's still good! If you like a saucy pizza, request more! We would definitely order from Louie's again. read more

Ordered calzone online. I got the Italian add sausage minus lettuce and tomato. I really did love it but I ordered the wrong one lol I should have ordered the spicy Italian cause I wanted the old world pepperoni and this one didn't come with pepperoni but know only the pizza calzone comes with mozzarella, the others come with provolone. Some people are not calzone fans, but I love a good one and this was a good one. Packed full of yummy ingredients. Only issue is their online ordering and app. I wanted my bread flavor to be butter, garlic and Parmesan but it only lets you pick one. Also it doesn't list how many chicken wings in an order and that's why I originally called but they were super busy and was put on hold for awhile and just decided to order online. We have tried them all, check my other reviews. I think we might have found a keeper ladies and gentlemen. My wife and I were both pleased with our pizza tonight. It was a deep dish that had a good crunch to the crust. The bread sticks were also very good. I do wish the pizza had more sauce but still a solid 4 Star pizza joint. Here is to hoping they will be consistency good. I cannot speak to the delivery time because we carried out. UPDATE: Had them a second time, equally as good pizza. They will be our new pizza place On a side note, this isn't an issue just odd to me. The inside has a strong religious tone. Just odd for a pizza place. Happened upon this little place in the strip mall one evening while test driving a vehicle and made a hasty return of the little Mazda so I could order a pizza to go. Now keep in mind, I grew up eating Louie's (in Hazel Park) and Buddy's in Warren... that being said... let's move on. Googled the number, placed the order for the 8-corner large pizza with pepperoni. The pictures on the advertisement looked comparable to Jet's Pizza. The smell was heavenly- couldn't wait to get home and sink my teeth in. But to my dismay... it didn't stand up to Louie's, or even Buddy's. It was even one step below Jet's Pizza. Actually running a close fifth behind Little Caesar's. read more

I am terribly disappointed with the service I received. I ordered a pizza at 3:00 for delivery at 6:45. At 6:30, I received a call that there was an issue with my credit card. When I regave the number, suddenly there was no issue. At 7:15,I called to check on why my pizza had not been delivered. The person who answered the phone,instead of saying hello, said, we are no longer taking orders. When I said I was calling to check on status of my pizza, I was put on hold and then told it was on its way, 30 minutes after it was supposed to be delivered. When I said that was no excuse,I was told" we are really busy so nothing we can do." When the pizza was finally delivered, the person wanted $30 in cash even though my credit card had already been charged. She said "not my problem" so I gave her the pizza back and told her I wasn't paying. When I called the store, the manager gave me a sob story about how bad the employees are. This was terrible customer service and unacceptable responsiveness. Last time we will order from Louie's. read more

Update: I like them best of the pizza places. Strengths: oil coated crust baked crispy giving it lots of flavor similar to Jets crust. Toppings- good usually fresh. Weakness: the sauce. A little sour for my taste but the majority of Detroiters prefer it that way I believe. Pizza has become saltier over the years probably from the toppings which is beyond their control. I hope they don't add salt. If it needs salt leave it to the consumer to add it. I'm guessing they did an ownership change a couple years back because taste and quality slipped a little but still near the top. The first year they opened the were untouchable. Still solid. Try their calzones they are great. Could use more Parmesan inside the sandwich but tasty as all get up. As good as Hungry Howies calzones who I think are best. read more

Horrible customer service. Ordered pizza online and it never arrived. Called them after an hour and they said they couldn't find us and that it is very rude for us to have their delivery person looking for us. I said I don't know why it's hard to find us since our street address is on our house. They then put the manager Vince on who explained they would not be out to deliver it again and that they had found us and pounded on our door. I explained my husband had the door open waiting on you and if that had happened we would have our pizza. Vince then said he can't refund us our 27.00 and I would have to speak to the owner next week. I will never order from them again! read more

We live near Louis Pizza & use them whenever we order Pizza. Naturally we decided to use them when we were hosting an event for 40 people. I was skeptical about delivery because we were not going to be at a resident but a public park, however Martini & Annie were very accommodating to our need. While placing our order I must have repeated myself 50 times, I wanted to be clear. Not only was Martin patience but rather slightly amused. Our order was large: 5 pizzas that had 30 slices each, 21 eight inch subs, with everything on the side, 2 Louie bread @ 30 pieces each!! Not only was it very affordable, it was very good. our guest loved it. All the sauces came on the side & some one stopped at the store & bought us mustard, which I forgot to ask for. The management (Martin & Annie) team were very friendly & professional. Our dealing with them were minimal yet they seem to understand our needs. I don't have to tell anyone planning a picnic (party) for 40 how stressful it can be. Louis 's made that part of it easy. Annie delivered our food on time & hot. All my special instructions were perfect & we had plenty of everything. I would recommend Louis Pizza on 26 Mile if you are thinking of getting your pizza, salads or subs. I worked at Louie's on 26 mile and I can tell you that the square pizza lids and the large trays they store dough on are filthy and filled with gunk. Dried up oil and bacteria abound. Louie and Gale, the owners do not allow the time to properly clean these items, thus you get a lot of filthy dishes, utensils and other kitchen items. The pizza taste good, but I will not order a pizza there because of what I know about the kitchen's filthy state. The food inspector does not bother to look closely enough. read more
