Sure, it looks welcoming and friendly enough, but there is no way of knowing just how OUTRAGEOUSLY good the flipping food is. After one visit, WTSP is immediately on our favorite places list, and we cannot wait to come back. The burgers are out of control good, regardless if you get the smash patty or the more traditional hand patty. The bread is homemade in the best way possible, and the attention to details - the absolutely perfect fries as example - shine through. This food is made by a kitchen that cares. And same for the pizza. I was nervous because I saw everyone ordering REALLY delicious looking Detroit style pizza, but we went with a round, hand tossed, pepperoni number. And man alive, I am glad we did. It was up there with some of the best pizza I've had in Michigan, which if you know Michigan, is saying a LOT. Long story short, this place rules. Yes, it's a little rough around the edges, but do yourself a favor and pop in for a local beer and a burger, and take home a pizza to have for dinner the next day. You'll thank me for it.

The restaurant itself is tastefully decorated and we were greeted promptly by a wonderful waitress. We ordered a large Chicago style with just cheese, and it did not disappoint! The pizza was cooked perfectly and oozing with cheese. The sauce and crust? PERFECT! In fact, the crust was probably one of the best I've ever tasted! And not soggy! This pizza was not only delicious, but it was lighter than other Chicago style pies I've had in the past. After eating multiple pieces, my wife and I did not feel overly full.
