We have frequented this restaurant several times in the past. Today is our first review. They have been consistent overall and their pizza doesn't disappoint. We love the Square style pizza and the Mediterranean toppings are delicious. We do wish they use Kalamata instead of black olives, but it is still delicious. The breadsticks are also so nice and cheesy and a great addition to the pizza. The service is always kind when you call to place an order. They do not have a dine in area but in the summer, you can sit outside and enjoy your pizza. We would recommend this place when in the Richmond area. We will return again. read more

Expected Wood fired like the Utica location n they advertise like they do but it didn't ? I don't know how many countless times I have been to Richmond for dinner or whatever reason but we never stop at Tivoli Pizzeria. On a recommendation from a friend we stopped. My daughter and I are going to a pizzeria tour during summer break and this was our first stop. We ordered a small cheese and pepperoni pizza with 2 waters and a side of ranch. The guy running the register was nice and helpful. We sat on their patio. My daughter read her book and I listened to a book. Pizza was delivered and lo and behold there were the little pepperoni pools of grease!! Best pepperoni around. Food was good. read more

My boyfriend and I stopped here last night after craving pizza. The last time I was here was at least 15 years ago and I don't remember anything about it so it was nice to try something new again! This pizzeria is mostly carry out. There's some seats to sit at against the window but it's not the most ideal spot. Several tables outside to sit at but it was 45 degrees outside so we opted to take our pie home. We opted for a medium square pizza (8 slices) with pepperoni, ham, and garlic and cheesy breadsticks. The crust and breadsticks are all made fresh in house. The wait for our food was about 20 minutes but can't complain at all when everything is made fresh made to order. We were both extremely satisfied with our meal! Not many places have square pizza in a medium (8 slices) and that was a big bonus for us. Perfect size for us with slices leftover for another meal. The crust was nice and crunchy and toppings didn't slide off with each bite we took. The cheesy breadsticks were great and addicting. Great dipped in ranch or pizza sauce. All in all our medium pizza and breadsticks was about $16 and perfect size for us. Great food for the price. Very reasonable! Service was awesome and very friendly. Look forward to returning for pizza and their oven baked subs. read more

It wasn't what I was expecting, so part of that is probably on me. I was hoping for a wood fired pizza as that is that is pictured on their website. My husband went and they talked him into a thin crust because "it's the most like wood fired". I guess another location DOES do wood fired, but not Richmond. The pizza itself was mediocre, at best. The cheese bread wasn't good at all, in my opinion. Both lacked flavor and were kind of cardboard tasting. The slices were floppy and not sturdy, which I do expect from a lot of wood fired pizzas, but the sauce and toppings were lack luster. My husband works at a bar that serves pizza and I'm not a huge fan of their pizza, but even that was better than this dedicated-to-pizza place. We don't live close enough to make us want to try it again. read more

We like pizza. That is no secret in our household. We've accepted that the delivery drivers usually know us. And you can't go wrong with Tivoli's. Their pizza is out of this world. Square or round. And they make sure every bite you shove in your mouth is full of the toppings you desire. Unlike some places that close their eyes and chuck a handful of toppings at your pizza, and they land where they land. Even if you are in the Anti pineapple on pizza gang, you know that picture looks bomb. Their grinder/sub/flatbreads are out of this world too. I'm drooling right now. Maybe I'll order another one while I'm thinking about them... If your debating on where to get pizza from tonight, I just helped you make your decision. And if you decide to go elsewhere.. that's ok. I've been to Tivolis many times over the past several years. This is one of my favorite pizza joints! It is a nice change from the average chain pizza places. Tivolis has very fresh ingredients. This time I had ordered ranch and did not check it before leaving. After arriving home I realized that I didn't receive any. The cheese bread is normally cut in long strips and then cut in half again. This time the bread was only cut into strips which made them more like breadsticks. Overall, a little disappointed this time but I know that I will be back. read more

I come here fairly often but this pizzeria has become really annoying lately. I usually order the Italian sub, I usually ask for it extra toasted and half the time it seems like it's not toasted at all. This particular visit they seemed in disarray and aggravated with the volume of orders, I'm sure this has something to do with the constant flow of people and not being able to handle it. Is it too much to ask to get a sub toasted? And why are they not using their wood burning oven? Not sure if you are reading this, but you guys need to get it together! I desperately want to come there and get food that is what I order and doesn't taste bland. Come on Being from Chicago I can also say that the deep dish is nothing like the pizzas there.
