I don't even know how to begin with this review... When we arrived, we asked for a highchair and the hostess asked us to grab it for her. Not that big of a deal, but definitely odd. Our waitress smelled like cigarettes and was very inattentive. The red sangria was absolutely awful, I couldn't even drink it. The appetizer sampler was also pretty bad-it came with mozzarella sticks(fine), deep-fried mushrooms(good), and "chicken tenders"(horrible, it was chicken paste not tenders) and 1 ranch dressing for everything. The pepperoni pizza was actually very good, the crust was amazing but the sauce was very sweet which I didn't like. The restaurant was not playing any music and overall VERY chaotic. Our bill was higher than expected too for the amount of food that we got. Overall this was honestly an awful experience but I would possibly order takeout pizza. read more

So a mere week and a half from our first visit, my sister and I decided to go out for dinner. I wanted ribs, and I remembered seeing people at Alibi with them & they looked SOOOO good! So, we decided to come back on another cold and snowy night. We ordered the rib dinner for two. The slab was cut in half, 7 ribs on one, 8 on the other. They were big, juicy ribs with a really interesting sauce that tasted like it had some apple in it. It came with a salad with homemade croutons, and we both got their house salad dressing. The breadsticks were really good. They served butter with them, but it was unnecessary, as the breadsticks were perfection as it was. We also wanted to try the pizza because it looked so good, so we ordered a medium to go. Nice, big pieces that made my car smell amazing. Service was fast and efficient. Known for their pizza but we ordered kids grilled cheese with fries (nothing special) but my Cajun chicken sandwich was good with a nice Cajun kick. I came here after quite a few years and Alibi has always had some of the best bread I've ever had. The bread is like having indian naan. The one thing that I didn't know is that they always require to have marinara sauce on your pizza. We tried substituting it for bbq sauce but we couldn't. They gave it to us on the side instead. The pizza was still very good and highly recommend. I don't believe the mozzarella sticks are house made. They were decent but definitely not worth the price. The inside is comfortable but they should look into cleaning their chairs and booths. Lots of stains, wear, and tear. A few wobbly tables as well. When I went it was quite busy and the service was very slow. Had to wait 20 minutes after being seated to even be given a water. Food came out quickly. About 30 minutes pass by and there's not many tables left eating. The service was very slow. The waiter was nowhere to be seen so I had to ask waitresses at the registers if I could pay. They were hesitant because they wanted my waiter to be the one to handle it until I insisted since we were already waiting for a long time and he's nowhere to be seen. Never had a bad pizza here! Their breadsticks and salad are a must order! I'm a sucker for their supreme and they know how to load up their pizzas! No need for ranch because there's so much flavor to it and the crust is buttery with a slight crunch. Food comes out hot every time and their servers have always been so friendly. The pizza is a masterpiece with the tiny pepperoni boats. I dab the oil out of them, but it lends traditional flavor. We hardly ever have room after dinner, but occasionally we splurge on the chocolate chip cookie dessert. The only downside is that you're not allowed to sit until your whole party is there. Their pizzas are definitely the favorite but they have some other food options as well. Pizzas, whether big or small, are delicious. We came for pizza and more, with four people to feed. Our server Ryan was spot on with our orders and made us feel like family. The Hawaiian pizza, spot on with us guys making it angry, jalapenos added to give us multiple tastes. A Lemon Chicken for my daughter, who ate it all. My wife Spaghetti with meat sauce, she loved it. They sometimes offer free food which is not even that good. The service is somewhat good but extremely slow, and they sell pepsi instead of Coke, which is horrible and needs to be changed because pepsi is a cheap knockoff of the real deal. The food took me about 30 minutes to get here. It's very loud in the restaurant, but quiet enough to hear the people near you. The interior design is actually pretty good, though. Easily the best pizza in metro Detroit. It's a great alternative to the god awful Detroit style nonsense that people seem to go nuts over. This is a nice, hand tossed style pie with a great crust with a nice chew. The sauce is thick and a little spicy. For me the kicker though is the toppings. Settled on the small Greek salad, 4 piece: fresh mushrooms, green peppers, anchovies, onions, peppercini, jalapeños and a 4 piece deluxe with added jalapeños. $51.30. Order was in my 7:37pm. Salad was out about 10 minutes later. The forks are super thin and cheap. The Greek salad isn't too bad, more dressing and peppercini. The dressing is good, the more you get of it. I could eat a large of the stuff, would be even better with some mixed green or romaine too. The salad after some extra dressing wasn't too bad. The peppercini, olives and beets make the Greek for me. The 4 piece pizzas are bigger this I had imagined. I wasn't able to eat my whole pie. I picked up the last couple of slices. 2 slices and the salad would have been sufficient for me. The crust could be better, was too doughy and not chewy and slightly crunchy and the slice as a whole was rather doughy as well, but the dough flavor is good. I get why folks come her for the pizza, it's good. I ate what I could. I am beyond stuffed. I could have eaten more salad than pizza. I can feel the dough swelling up as it settles. The waitress brought out our pizza and my husband asked the waitress to have the pizza remade because it was lopsided and there were bubbles on the one side. The waitress takes it back and then brings back the same exact pizza about 15 min later. The pan was super hot, but the pizza was not. We could see it was the same pizza.
