It was definitely busy, but considering it was lunchtime on a Friday, that was completely understandable. Our server, Jaclyn, was very friendly and as attentive as she could be with how busy things were. She apologized several times for the wait, but we reassured her that it was no problem at all. We understood how hectic things were, and we really appreciated her kindness and effort. I started with a Smoked Old Fashioned, which was very good. For lunch, I ordered the Meat Lovers Pizza, and I really enjoyed it! My wife had the Lake Perch, which she absolutely loved. She mentioned how good the fish was. Our kids had the Chicken Tenders with Fries, and they completely devoured their meals! I even tried the chicken and thought it was seasoned really well. Overall, we had a fantastic lunch. My husband discovered a white stringy and wiry object in the yogurt. We couldn't figure out what it was, maybe from the dish scrubber or something in the kitchen? The Greek salad has a lot of dried and old looking sliced onions, maybe from yesterday and the English cucumbers look rather dried out as well. The lettuce is mostly iceberg, some spinach added to it. It's not so good. Prefer romaine at the least. The dreaded cut yellow peppers, not my preferred. Had a small white string or lint on my spinach, good thing it was towards the end of my salad consumption, stopped me eating the rest of the salad. Service from our waitress was good. The manager or more senior staffer asked how my food was. I told her about the wiry string in our yogurt and Greek salad. She asked why we hadn't told the waitress, I explained my husband isn't a fan of bringing up issues at all, that's why I bring it up discreetly. After much admonishment from her, I regretted even bringing it up at all. I felt I was being berated after a few minutes of constant admonishment.
