We ordered the cinnamon French toast, which came with an unsuspecting twist of apple caramel flavors that elevated it to a whole new level. The balance of warm cinnamon with the sweet, slightly tart apple caramel was incredible. We also had the Nutella Waffle, and it was absolutely amazing -- perfectly crisp on the outside, fluffy on the inside, and generously topped without being overwhelming. Ordered two egg skillet, spinach, green peppers and whole wheat toast, large Greek salad with feta on the side, turkey Rueben, side of Michigan apple and raisin, one slice of each. $49.82 The Michigan apple and raisin toasts are good. The turkey reuben is nicely toasted, would be much better with some better deli meat. The Greek salad is okay. Tomatoes look ripe, but aren't. Romaine is a bit old on a few pieces. The two egg skillet are good for Mom. Eggs are poached perfectly, hash browns are well done. Just right for her. Service is good. read more

I ordered a break sandwich with sausage egg, and provolone on an English muffin. In my mind, I was expecting (Sausage pattie fried egg and cheese) to my surprise I got an English muffin slapped with a ton of cheese, a Huge egg, with sausage links? I'm no expert but I thought links were necessary as a side not on a sandwich. It's nothing like attempting eat a sandwich while chasing links fall out the side. Not to mention they added a pickle sphere as if I'm eating a cornbeef sandwich. Then they have the nerve to charge $9 for this sandwich. I recommend getting sausage Pattie's instead and Disclosing on the menu that these are sausage links instead of Pattie's Now Imagine if I decided to add to lettuce and tomatoes? smh unfortunately I'm not making this up and im not able to upload the photo. Discovered Gina's Cafe via Yelp. It is everything that was promised. Food was abundant, service was attentive. The place is really small, but they use every possible space in order to serve the diners. My western omelette was huge. Enough for two or three meals. The pancakes were light and delicious. After trying to go to a different place that was crowded my sister suggested we try Gina's cafe. The restaurant is small and was just. However we only had to wait like 10 mins to be seated. They have a small menu on the table but all around the restaurant are chalkboard full of specials. I was a bit overwhelmed with the options but decided on the crabby Benedict. I got the eggs scrambled instead of poached and home fries. My sister ordered the house special which was a corn beef hash and added a side of blueberry pancakes. The food came out fast and hot. The crab cake was full of meat and not a lot of filler which was great. The waffle under the crab cake was a jalapeño cornbread waffle. I didn't really taste the jalapeño but it was good. If this place was closer to my home I would be there more often. read more

My wife and I went to Gina's for the first time, one week ago. The food is outstanding and the service was amazing! They have a number of variations of the classic, Eggs Benedict. The southern uses biscuits topped with a sausage patty, poached eggs and sausage gravy. It also has hash browns. Everything was excellent we took 2/3 of my wife's huge omelette and hash browns home with us. We are going back when they open for breakfast, today. Food was good. A bit pricey. Again, waitresses need to learn to have 2 things glued to their hands, the order ticket AND THE COFFEE POT! What is up with not keeping the coffee cup full? Anyway, they also advertise cappuccinos, espressos and other coffee drinks. Expect mixed from a package as there is no espresso/cappuccino machine on the premises which means it's all powdered. The place has a cozy feel and the list of breakfast options is pretty spectacular, but I would have felt better walking into a place that smells like Starbucks or any other coffee shop and THEN been able to also get breakfast. Absolutely amazing! I wasn't expecting this salad to have as much flavor as it did! I'm also very happy I tried their house dressing, a Parmesan Vinaigrette, which was absolutely fantastic!!! I went back twice in one week because I couldn't stop thinking about it. I can't wait to try new things off the menu! There are so many unique menu items. I came here to celebrate graduating nursing school and what a total disappointment it was. I got the cannoli stuffed french toast which looks beautiful in a picture but it was cold, thick, dry and disgusting. I guess I expected the bread to be soaked in an egg wash and cooked but it was not. I also ordered scrambled eggs with cheese asked for them to not be brown and they were so soft almost slimy that they nauseated me. The ham portion was massive - lots of fat- definitely days old. What was more repulsive than the food was the wait staff . My waitresses voice was very fake and she wasn't listening as I was talking like she was just trying to rush me quiet. They were not busy . I overheard another waitress ask an elderly Couple how they were and as they were speaking she cut them off and asked what they were drinking. As they were ordering she was rushing the elder woman and then kept saying " I can just bring his until you know " over and over again. I was so uncomfortable for those guests. My waitress never came back after my food came. I would have told her about the food but since she just dropped the bill and avoided me this will be the last time I give my business to Ginas Cafe. What a shame. I left here $25 lighter, hungry and disgusted. I understand we gotta be patient with restaurants after the pandemic but there is no excuse for any of this- and the second waitress I spoke of has been there since Gina's opened - and she showed ZERO hospitality. read more

We went here for the first time for brunch, it's been in my bookmarks for a while and we just happened to be in the area. It's not a big place, but we only waited about 10 minutes for a booth. The normal menu has a lot of options, and the walls have been turned into colorful chalkboards for the numerous specials. If you can't find something that sounds good here, then nothing is going to make you happy. The kids had delicious Oreo pancakes that had a thick layer of crushed cookies on the bottom. They were tickled pink. The adults had Bennys, and they were delicious. The home fries weren't my favorite, I'd get hash browns next time. Everything looked to be from scratch, and the prices were more than reasonable for the quantity and especially the quality. We will be back to try more - this is a great new find. read more

MEXICAN SKILLET is more tex-mex than Mexican, but it's good and addictive as edges are slightly crunchy. Serves 2. Bread upcharge options are worth exploring. I enjoyed the cinnamon raisin toast that is slightly fluffier than expected, some frosting and nicely buttered! SERVICE is highly efficient for a small venue. We waited but it wasn't that long. I get tired of having a standard bacon and eggs for breakfast, only to take a bite of the eggs and crunch down on stray egg shell. If you're like me, you can't appreciate crunchy eggs, no matter what the reason. Fear not, my friends. You won't find that situation at Gina's. I have been eying 'Gina's Cafe' for the past few days after reading all the wonderful reviews and today was the day my boyfriend and I tried it out! My boyfriend and I arrived around 11:45am and the place was packed! Only one table available. The waitress came over in a few seconds and got our drink orders before we even had a chance to check out the menu. I ordered the skillet with over hard eggs, cheese, home fries, green peppers and ham. Delicious! The portion was huge! My eggs were cooked perfectly (which is hard for a lot of restaurants to do! The cheese was cheddar but so melty like nacho cheese. I loved it! My boyfriend ordered asparagus omelet with hash browns and wheat toast. Definitely something different! The asparagus was so fresh and delicious. Perfectly cooked. The hashbrowns were not too crispy, perfectly toasted. The wheat toast: AMAZING! I'm not sure what it was but the toast tasted the best ever. Very grainy. The cafe has several colorful menu's posted on the walls with breakfast, lunch, drink and soup specials. Smore's pancakes. This was an A+ experience from start to finish. It really makes a difference when there's a sufficient number of staff to take care of the customers, and all of them are exceptionally well trained. We had people checking on us about every five minutes, and all of them were super friendly and knew how to explain items on the menu. The walls are covered with special items, I suspect the chef likes to be creative to keep things from getting boring in the kitchen. I was delighted to find out that they would accommodate a special order. My wife and I both ordered Benedict's, she went with the standard Benedict, I went with the country Benedict, although mine was prepared with hollandaise instead of country gravy. The coffee was fantastic! I had 3 1/2 cups i'm probably would've enjoyed one and ahalf more, LOL. I was impressed when the customer the other table got up and explained to us in impressive detail how good the chicken and waffles were. All of this for under $15 a person, you can bet we'll be back. Ordered orange juice but never received. Server was MIA. To top it off the price is over the top, & that takes a lot for me to admit. Maybe this place has been sold, but surely not what it has been.
