Cute outdoor seating area with giant Connect 4 for the kids - A child with blonde hair, wearing a turquoise sleeveless shirt, is playing Connect 4 outdoors on a restaurant patio. The patio features metal and plastic tables and chairs, with potted plants and flowers along the railing. In the background, there are yellow umbrellas, trees, and a mural with blue and yellow colors. String lights are hanging above the patio, and the setting appears to be a family-friendly dining area with outdoor seating.

Came here for the first time recently and was impressed. The prices are reasonable, the outdoor seating area is super cute, the service was great, and the food was delicious. I liked that their menu wasn't huge but still had something for everyone. My salad was big enough to have leftovers, and the kids chicken tenders portion was also very large. My picky son loved the beef ravioli and their bread. Yummy fries too. We will be back!

I'm gonna say "no". We will not be back. The turkey Reuben is one of my favorite sandwiches and this spot unfortunately killed it with an awful Cole slaw. I feel like there was exactly one slice of turkey in there because all you can taste with each bite is the bland coleslaw. The bread made it look like a promising sandwich, but the presentation is where it stopped. Sweet potato fries were also very flavorless, and the mozz sticks did not help in salvaging any part of this meal. It's a great spot with lots of seating and maybe there are a lot of other really good things on the menu, but what we got did not give us any confidence in it.

I go to this wonderful restaurant every time I'm in town! There are so many delicious choices on the menu but my favorite is the Knapp burger deluxe. The home baked bun with a very generous and juicy patty, the best! Usually I get fries, but today I had the gazpacho and it was amazing! The service is always friendly and efficient here and the atmosphere is cozy. I highly recommend!

Major disappointment While I have been here before and have thoroughly enjoyed each visit, last night while it all appeared perfect, my bill was definitely over charged, which upon further review this morning, will make me chose another place to take friends and my family. Took our grandkids there last night, there kids menu is across the board pricing $6.99, a fair value. The OUCHIE is the kids beverage, a glass filled with ice and lemonade poured over the top for $4.47, no free refills either. My meal was to include a side salad but was charged $3.49 So now you got my twice. Now, We are not coming back. You lost me/us a customer.

Knapps burger. - The image shows a cross-section of a burger with visible layers of shredded lettuce, a slice of tomato, melted cheese, and a beef patty. The burger is partially wrapped in a soft bun, with some ingredients spilling out, highlighting the textures and ingredients used.

This is the best hamburger i believe in Oakland County. The Knapp burger is always the same tasting and it has a unique flavor and its a pretty big burger. I always stop by when passing through and am always pleased by the efficient and professional staff. I would recommend a upgrade in the lighting because it always seems kinda dark inside and a local iconic burger place should reflect that in its atmosphere. Tried the Macaroni and cheese and would give it three and a half stars. Definitely needs better cheeses and a creamier sauce. Definitely will be back to get my Knapps burger fix.

Sopping wet Reuben doused with an entire bottle of thousand island (no coleslaw). They should've offered it as a special, 'Reuben soup'. - A close-up image shows a partially eaten Reuben sandwich with toasted rye bread, corned beef, and melted cheese. The sandwich appears to have been cut in half, revealing the filling. The bread is dark and crispy, with some cheese and meat visible inside. The sandwich is placed on a piece of white paper or parchment. The image captures the texture of the toasted bread and the creamy filling.

Red Knapps is our go to for carryout pizza. It is typically always good. Good customer service. Good and fast. The restaurant is cozy.

    Do you need reservations?

I never needed a reservation. Always got seated right away. Most people like there pizza. But the rest of the menu is just fair. With so many other really good restaurants in the area I stopped eating at Red Knapps.

Makes me wonder if it was even washed before they cooked it. THEN there was the worst thing - there was a young man, at the bar, with a Marlboro hat on VAPING!!!!!! Talking to our waiter VAPING!!!! Chilling out with our waiter VAPING!!! THE WAITER SAID NOTHING!!! I was under the impression that this was a smoke free environment?!?! THEN before the vaping guy left - after an hour of just sitting there vaping with his feet kicked up, "chilling" with our waiter, and I think maybe a waitress(dark hair) - he started talking to our waiter about a schedule. DOES HE WORK THERE????? And was our waiter a manager? You have GOT to be kidding me! My elderly mother asked for a refill of her water and the waiter said "it will be a few minutes" .. Then everyone kept coming to try to get our plates at 8:45 ... to rush us through our unfinished food!!!!! wow ...... THIS PLACE IS A JOKE! Unhealthy environment! Rude! We are idiots who want to spend out hard earned money on substandard service and food. If you want to TLDR: Go to Taco Bell. Starters: Chips and a salsa flight kinda thing. There was Pico. I didn't try, my son did and said it tasted like vinegar. There was a cheese sauce kinda dip thing. The cheese skin was already formed when it reached our table. The cheese sauce thing was alright. If I never have it again, I won't miss it. Then there was the guac. To the staff making the guac, don't use the avocado when it turns brown. That's not good, not appetizing. I found some none brown, and it was over powered by the cilantro. So, I guess when you cannot make guac, bury the taste in cilantro. Bottom-line on this: Avoid it. Save the cash. Dinner: Barbacoa street tacos. My son ordered these. Three of them. With a massive side of meh refried beans and a mound of dry "Mexican" rice. One bite was enough, he did not finish. Enchiladas: My wife ordered cheese enchiladas, and they showed up with the mountain of dry rice, and bland refried beans. She ate half of one, said they tasted funny. Dipped chips in the beans and ate that. She said she regretted coming to the restaurant. Not just the enchiladas. Chimichanga: Same rice. Same beans. Daughter said that she'd rather have Taco Bell. The majority of the meal was left untouched. Tacos Pastor: Same rice. Same beans. Bland. How do you make bland Pastor?! I ate them as I was hungry by this point, but something seemed off. Like they were phoned in. And...today at Sams Club, I found: Pastor Taco filling in the re-heat section of the Club. The shape of the cut? The same! In fact, I'd bet that that's what I was served. Reheated (in a microwave) Sam's Club Pastor. Then there's the service. Rude is the first impression, follow by total apathy. There was no one in the restaurant when we arrived, and only one person came in while we were there. The entire staff were buried on their phones. When they had to engage with us -- which was rare -- it was as if we were asking them to roll a boulder up the side of a mountain. They simply didn't want to be inconvenienced. They wanted to be tipped and that's all they cared about. The cost of the meal vs the reality of the meal: $100 for four people, for substandard, bland Mexican food, that could be outdone by a fast food outlet. Add in the apathetic staff, and I cannot stress strongly enough that you should avoid this place. Save your money. If you must have Mexican food in Oxford, there are other places. And all of them are better. This restaurant deserves to go out of business.
