I have been coming to this location for many years now. I was quite surprised that one large pizza with bread and pizza sauce with two soft drinks would equate to 60 dollars. The place is really nice, and I get you have to pay for service. They even make extra profit on credit card charges in the amount of 3 percent. I guess we can thank covid for that, and many businesses have capitalized on this point as well. You would think G's would create budget friendly meals for those who would like to dine out but are on a budget especially those ages 55 and older. read more

Gs Pizzeria is still a go-to for our family when it comes to delivery pizza. The quality of the pizza is still really consistent and the toppings are fresh. The Lake Orion location has great customer service and they offered to re-make a pizza after the order got messed up on line. Super appreciated! Total disappointment! Called in for a carry out last night and asked for the Mountain of Pepperoni and Cheese pizza. Was told they didn't have it only acheese and Pepperoni. This confused me as I used to work just down the street at a car dealership and have gotten this before there. I also live in Oxford next to the Legacy Center where a second location is (my ussual go to). Not wanting to argue and in a rush we agreed to a Cheese and Pepproni pizza. Upon arrival I double checked with the counter person and menu the 'mountain' is a 'pile' and we just made you a regular cheese and pepperoni. What a Major Disappointment! No classic (old fashioned style) just regular pepperoni and nowhere near the pizza I had tried to order. The counter person could have asked a simple question and all would be fine as to how many pepperonis we were looking for. While I will continue to go to the North Oxford location, will not be going back here. By the way if you want a regualar cheese and pepperoni pizza, I could have saved atleast $14 and gotten a Little Ceaser style. read more

We came here tonight with some friends after hanging out at Round1 at Great Lakes Crossing nearby. Lake Orion isn't my neighborhood but one friend lives nearby, and said he had been here before and the pizza was good. We had the pretzels with queso which was good but not great, as an appetizer, and the four of us split a Godfather pizza (14" aka 8 slices aka medium) and a Super pizza, with only half olives, because I hate olives. Surprisingly, I liked the Super one the best - the Godfather pizza had fresh mozzarella, I believe, which was great, but also WHOLE garlic, which made it a little spicy for me. Waitservice was overall fine, a little slow with drink refills but then the pace picked up a bit. Since we split the app and pizzas, for the 2 of us (and one Pepsi Zero), it was only $25 before tip, which isn't bad at all. I'd come back here another time or to their Oxford location because the food was so good. My only minor complaint is that the faucets didn't work in the bathroom - the first time I went in, they had some sort of faucet replacement with hot water, but the other times it was gone and the faucets still didn't work. read more

Recently we tried their hot honey Hawaiian pizza, sooooo good. They have a nice variety of non-pizza options, gluten free pizza, salads and a great kids menu. read more

I went to Gs for the first time yesterday. I went at lunch, thinking it would be quick, but the service was slow. The waitress apologized several times, but I wasn't sure what the issue was, it never made sense. I pizza I ordered was good, it just wasn't worth an hour and a half lunch during my work day. Can not give zero stars but that is what is deserved. Eight guests in the bar at half-time (speaks volumes about food and service). The bartender changed the half-time show without warning or announcement to the racists tpusa because she and three other guests wanted it while the five other diners wanted to see the NFL half-time show. She hid when we complained to our server. When she finally resurfaced, likely from the depths of hell, she put the NFL half-time show on one small tv with no volume and not visible from our tables. She said there was nothing she could do. Had we been warned upon entry we would have visited another time. This was cruel, racist and inconsiderate to the only people buying food. The three pendejos at the bar were only drinking. Luckily we found a great place down the street at the Old Detroit on Lapeer. As Pizzaria's go I like the overall vibe of G's. The log cabin interior dining room is large and welcoming. I recently stopped in there to pick up a couple "you bake" pizzas that I wanted for an 8 pm College football game. Their "You bake" pizza is a step from frozen. The toppings are plentiful. Honestly, this place is as good as it gets in my book when it comes to quality pizza. You know exactly what you're signing up for- and it's amazing every time. Spears are a must order (especially with their garlic cream cheese) and the pizza is superb. Service isn't what it use to be! I've dined in and ordered delivery recently and it's really troubling. When dining in my husband and I waited 30 minutes for a burger that we were splitting- the bartender stated it was due to a ticket issue but then didn't go out of her way to ensure that we were satisfied for the rest of our visit. THEN, we recently ordered a medium pizza for delivery. We were told it would be 45 minutes- 1 hour. After an hour I asked my husband to call and check on our order and thank goodness he did because the guy that answered the phone yet again said "the kitchen didn't print your ticket sorry" and expected us to wait another hour! We use to love Gs especially since we reside close by but now, I'd rather drive an extra few miles to get better service and avoid "ticket issues". It's also extremely disappointing that a manager doesn't do their due diligence when this stuff comes up! read more

Came here with a bunch of guys after shooting at Bald Mnt. Surprisingly good. Ambiance: has a chain feel. Like an Applebee's but nicer and more open floor plan. Everything is clean. Clean bathroom. Service: we had a GREAT server. He was attentive and responsive. One in our group had dietary restrictions, and he was really helpful. Happily offered to split bill by individual. This guy can easily work fine dining. Food: cheese bread is a must have. Calzone was good too. Everything was good. Everyone was happy with their meal. I can't believe I haven't written a G's review until now. I recall eating at their West Branch location and loving it. When I moved into this area, I was excited to learn we had a G's nearby. I have been eating at this location regularly for the last four years. I can say that I love G's. For the sake of full disclosure, I must admit G's is actually my second favorite pizza place. They are however, my wife's favorite. I guess you could call us regulars. Our usual order is a 14" deep dish with three times the sauce and double fresh basil with a sesame seed crust. The waitstaff knows our order. We love that they have fresh basil as a topping for a topping. The pizza is not the only good product they offer. We have been quite surprised to find other items like burgers and particularly their sandwiches to be just as delightful as their pizza. They frequently tweak their menu to keep it fresh. For example, right now, they are offering a Cuban pizza. It has pulled pork, pickles, and a sweet yet spicy barbecue sauce on it. It honestly tastes like what a McRib pizza would taste like and it is awesome. Sometimes, they unfortunately remove some of the good stuff. They had a wonderful homemade veggie burger, but took it off their menu. In its place, they now offer an Impossible Burger. When we first started eating at this location about four years ago, they offered a square pizza. It was a true Detroit style pie and it was amazing. The crust was perfect. The sweet G's sauce complimented it so well. It was better than Buddy's. Please G's, bring it back. read more

G's is a taste of home for me. With it being the best pizza place in Oscoda/Tawas Mi I was overjoyed when I saw one was near me in Rochester Hills since moving downstate. Everything is wonderful - my only request is that they offer Chicken Soup daily as the one in Oscoda does. When I'm sick I crave it so bad! The service was great. The waitress was quick and polite. The pizzas were kind of small; however, priced pretty fair for their size. We got the Sicilian and the mac n cheese pizza. The Sicilian was okay but not great. It tasted like a frozen pizza. The mac n cheese pizza was awesome! I liked the crust a lot better than the other. It was very cheesy and tasted fresh. The parmesan breadsticks were pretty good! There was some standing grease on top but easily blotted off with a napkin. Bonus points for AWESOME ranch dressing. read more

I just realized I have never written a review of G's. We go very regularly going back to 2014. The food is excellent and the pizza is also great (great crust, toppings). The beer selections are always strong, and we have always had good service. Exterior is nice, parking is a bit weird, tight and limited in an odd way. Interior needs a refresh and that is currently underway so I may update my review in the future. Hopefully, they will do-away with that weird area "for groups" adjacent to the bar that was similar to being relegated to the kids' table at Thanksgiving. I came to this location 3 times while I was in the area bc it was close to my hotel. 2 times I ordered the fried mushrooms which are breaded & served with ranch sauce. I really liked them. They were fresh & hot both times. Another time, I ordered a calzone with ham, spinach & roasted red peppers. I liked it. I thought they could put a bit more cheese in it but overall it was good. It was cooked perfectly. Definitely not soggy. The staff is VERY efficient & friendly which is always really nice. The exterior is a big log cabin structure which I thought was a bit odd but not a big deal. There is tons of parking & it's right off the road with two entrances so very easy access. The interior decor is pretty standard for a sports bar. It had a lot of local sports memorabilia & there are plenty of flat screen TV's to watch sports. The Bar is large & U shaped. There are bar height tables rimming the bar area. There are 2 other dining areas. One area is particularly good for local rotary clubs meetings etc. They apparently cater too. The menu is comprised of standard bar food so nothing shockingly inventive. However this place is solidly good albeit not spectacular. But a great place to come for good bar food & great fast efficient friendly service. read more

Came here with a group of friends to eat and watch football. The waitress was very accommodating and turned the channel on every tv within our view to the channel we wanted. I heard their pizza is amazing but I got a chicken Caesar salad and it was very good. Some other things that people in my group got were: the macaroni and cheese pizza, the ninja turtle pizza, chili, burger and the Cobb salad. Everyone liked their food and had so many choices that they had a hard time deciding. That usually is a good sign!
