Seems like since the store in lake Orion has opened Oxford has gone down hill. The house dressing is never consistent anymore. Ordered 80 dollars in food and delivery. Order was wrong. Specifically put no mushrooms for Alfredo pizza, loaded with mushrooms. They refused to send a replacement out. Could only offer a refund for the pizza. Manager refused to talk to me, said they were too busy for me. Misgendered me, not trans either. They asked for my name for the order. Wasn't able to use gift card. I have ordered from here many times and this is by far the worst. I think the owner would be upset if he knew this is how his business is being run. This Pizza was Sick! LOL We ordered a Pickle and a Tree Hugger. Now I am a huge fan of regular pizza, cheese, pepperoni, mushrooms and what the heck drag it through the garden. Pizza is subpar at best! The employees argue with each other and customers. Worst pizza ever! I door dash here and have been a customer a couple times, but no more. The last time I dashed here, I went to get my pizza bag from my car while I was waiting as usual for the order, when I came back in with 2 bags, I was told the owner took the pizza himself. What a joke....I lost money waisting my time with these jokers. They treat dashers poorly, and based on my own experience trying their horrible pizza, and the la k of customers in their dirty little restaurant, if it wasn't for dashers , they would have no business. I left my two pizza bags with the store so that future dashers dont get talked down to like I did. This company is lacking good food, professionalism, and appreciation for their customer base. At work we ordered a carryout from this place. It was really delicious! I got to try several items. Their salads were really great. I liked that they put artichokes in the antipasto salad. The Greek was good too. I liked their ranch, yes I am a person who does enjoy a good ranch dressing. Their plain bread sticks were nice and fluffy and soaked up the sauces nicely. I tried a couple pizzas as well. Their Margarita round pizza was very flavorful and full of tomatoes. Most pizzas like this give you a few tomatoes on top, but this one was completely covered. So if you are a tomato fan, this is for you. I also tried the round pizza with ricotta cheese and pickles. I am not sure if was the one with bacon, but it was fantastic. I wanted more! I am willing to go the distance for pizza. My friend had told me about this new pizza place that was opening soon, and I had to try it out. My order: - Tree Hugger Veggie Pizza - Detroit Style Deep Dish - Bread Sticks Okay... I have mixed feelings about the pizza and bread sticks here. Let me start with the pizza. - Tree Hugger Veggie Pizza: This pizza was so overly loaded with toppings that they were falling off the pizza as soon as each slice was picked up. It was to the point that there were enough veggies left in the plate/box it could make a small salad if gathered together in a bowl. I was not too happy about that because it made for a sloppy pizza experience. The dough on the other hand, was unlike any other I have had before. It was fluffy and light. It was delicious, but when it came to the crust, it was missing that Detroit style "crunch". The sauce and cheese were well proportioned to the pizza. - Bread Sticks: The bread sticks were top notch. I loved every bite. The whole time, I was thinking to myself, it would be amazing if these were stuffed with fresh mozzarella cheese (essentially to turn it into a Basco stick)! I would definitely come back for that because very few pizza places offer that. This pizza restaurant already has the perfect breadstick; it would be awesome if they introduced their own version of the Basco stick. With better topping proportions and a crunch to the Detroit style crust, this pizza restaurant could easily be a five star restaurant and at the top of my pizza recommendations. read more

Well the Michigan pizza place naming gods descended on Oxford Michigan, pulled out their naming algorithm and came up with an, umm distinctive pizza joint name, Sick Pizza. I get it the sign has a clever character and kids say things are "sick" but the nuance might be missed in a text or review! Or to anyone over 40 who is usually picking up the tab for the fam! But the place was hopping one week in and the enthusiastic staff was waiting on an enthusiastic clientele. So far so good. Start up teething pains were evident with pizza boxes and supplies piled high in the front of the store. And it's hard to tell if there's dine in or basically a waiting and supply area, napkins, salt and pepper etc for orders to go. But again brand new so the rhythm will come. Now I was only one person and could only try one thing. The pizza which is "Buddy's style" was flavorful with fresh ingredients. The dough was a bit "Bisquick-ish" and seemed a bit underdone despite it's traditional blackened edges. The menu selection was extensive though eclectic for my Jersey pizza palate but the customers ate it up, literally. Wait times seemed a bit long which might be oven put through related but called in orders seemed to time it right. So check out this Oxford newbie particularly for Detroit style pizza. Worked in Pizza for a decade and have eaten enough of it to know there are different times for different Za... except Sick. Tried them twice and family agreed it isn't good at all. 1st time had a deep dish Pickle and it was so bland it was disgusting... like taking a scoop of warm ricotta and trying to swallow it. Wanted to like it, but threw 1/2 away (313 has a dialed in Pickle pizza). Tried again tonight for a "16 inch" round with Pepperoni, sausage and 1/2 mushroom. #1 pizza is on the high end but not ridiculous for 16" but absurd for a 14 which is what they give you. Mushrooms were on 3/8 of the pizza (but a whole pizza worth on those 3 pieces). They comment on how the cook/brown the sausage and don't use "little balls"... well it tastes like unseasoned browned sausage which is bland regardless if from Eastern Market. Might as well hit the pepperoni with a food processor to be consistent. The dough... you can tell it is a decent dough recipe, but it wasn't cooked on any of the pizzas we tried. Bottom was done but doughy in the middle... maybe if they stretched it to 16". Tried twice... missed the mark both times for consistent reasons. Won't be back. read more

I've had pizza everywhere...NY, CA, etc. This...was without a doubt...the BEST pizza I have ever had!!! The crust was crunchy and the top was doughy. Amazing flavor! Me and my fiancé liked it so much that we made the drive to get it again during our trip to Michigan. If you don't want to go for the pizza, they have delicious sandwiches too! Pizza is good. Their dough is more of a bread type dough. Had the Super 8 with Plenty of toppings but it could of been cooked a bit longer as the toppings were still a bit underdone which caused it to be a bit wet or runny. The flavors were good. Also tried the Mediterranean, it was good but again could have been cooked a bit longer. Still want to try their pickle and bacon pizza. read more
