Even on a busy Sunday morning, the wait time was totally reasonable and the whole experience felt smooth from start to finish. The food was fresh, hot, and beautifully plated -- fluffy pancakes topped with fruit and powdered sugar, a hearty breakfast bowl/hash with perfectly cooked eggs, and a delicious avocado toast situation that hit the spot. The sweet bites we tried were also amazing (light, warm, and not overly greasy). Drinks were great too -- super refreshing and the iced coffee was creamy and indulgent. We came in after the morning rush so things weren't as hectic as this place can get. We didn't wait too long for our table and we were greeted by an overly enthusiastic server fairly quickly. What I mean by this is, it was not a genuine energy or interaction. It felt very forced. We ordered - I had the Morning Meditation and the Avocado Toast. My husband had the Honey Crunch Iced Coffee and the Elevated Egg Sandwich on a croissant. When my drink came, the server left it on the table without a straw. I waited thinking she was getting one and when she was gone for a while, I went to the counter to get it myself. The drink itself is excellent - you can taste the ginger and orange but not the beet. Very refreshing. The Avocado Toast was a disappointment. There was no flavor to it and the hard poached eggs I ordered were soft poached. I wouldn't get this again. My husband liked his drink and food. He let me try the egg sandwich and it was very flavorful. It's just a heavy item for breakfast. I got an email with a fresh new menu item and looked good the Parmesan prosciutto. Besides looking good it tasted good. It was on a sourdough toast with scrambled eggs which were very fluffy, thin sliced prosciutto fresh arugula with lemon drizzle and garlic aioli with Parmesan cheese shredded on top. A very fresh tasting meal. I had a fresh fruit bowl with grapes, strawberries and pineapple. I also had the potatoes which were made with bacon and onion. Really good. I've been to first watch numerous times and every time, I enjoy it. We went here on a Sunday after church and of course for it being a brunch place, it was busy. They gave us a wait time of 30 minutes and they were correct about roughly a 30 minute wait. We got seated in an efficient time compared to what they said. The food was good, as it always is. I especially love how the food here is pretty much as close to we'll get to farm to table as we can in our area. The environment was a bit on the louder end, but it didn't stop us from having conversations with our party. We would come here again! read more

The most filling place I've ever been to for brunch! We've been here a few times to enjoy their creative and filling brunch menu. I usually get the meat omelet or chocolate chip pancakes. Sometimes I get one of their alcohol beverages too depending on what they have on special. It's a smaller place so you need to make a reservation ahead of time and be patient if you don't. It's absolutely worth it here though to have breakfast or brunch. All for a really good price and a full stomach! read more

I recently visited First Watch for brunch and found a new favorite! I had the Bacado omelette with the lightly dressed salad instead of opting for potatoes and imo that was exactly the right choice. My first meal in a French bistro was Omelet au fine herb avec salad and not only was it reminiscent of the meal in France, it was beyond delicious. Whoever buys the avocados for the restaurant should give classe! I've never had any better! And the whole grain bread was amazing. My server, Casey was attentive without hovering, which was great. I enjoyed it so much that I talked about with my nephew and his family who live nearby. He shared that his girls love the chocolate chip pancakes on the kid's menu, so I look forward to trying them on a future visit. Bravo and well done. read more

Our first time hear checking out new places. Arrived around 1030am on a Saturday and it was fairly busy with a 15-20 min wait. Not really waiting room but not a biggie, they use text message when a table is ready. We looked ahead at the menu before trying them out. I love when there are are pictures in addition to the standard information so we have a rough ideal of what to except. The Healthy Turkey picture did look better than the actual serving but the taste did not disappoint. The ingredients, turkey, roasted onions and so on actually went together well. Maybe a bit more spinach but sort of subjective. The Power Breakfast Quinoa Bowl was another surprise. The roasted tomatoes gives a pop, lemon white balsamic dressing is another wow, where did this come as the Italian sausage blended with other ingredients gave an overall bold breakfast. I ordered over-easy eggs that were perfect, meaning the yolk was warm but not cooked. Our server did an excellent job and was above par like it used to be years ago. She checked on us and answered any questions, plus professional. Kudo's! It tickled us because she had earned a good tip and was surprised. I looked at other meals being served and there were some good looking ones. I almost purchased a cook book but opted to just come by when we want to. First Watch caught my attention over a month ago when it popped up as a review of the day. The ratings average was good with a fair number of reviewers and it offered some unique dishes that were appealing based on the photos. So I immediately thought to add it to my lunch bunch monthly schedule for August. They are open for dine in with the common restrictions these days: masks required until seated, limited capacity, social distancing, some outdoor seating for up to four, get in line before arrival, servers wearing masks... when we arrived there was a ten minute wait, not unreasonable and fairly accurate. Once seated we started reviewing the menu even though we had pre-selected what we wanted to try from Yelp reviews and photos. Then our server, Deanne, quickly arrived to take our drink orders and answer any questions. We started out with water and lemon while waiting for our friends to arrive. Then we all placed our orders. Our friends chose Breakfast Tacos and a Broccoli Cheddar Soup and Sandwich combo. My wife ordered Iced Coffee and Market Hash Skillet while I went with Regular Coffee and the Chickichanga that came with Breakfast Potatoes and a Fruit Cup. I also added an order of Million Dollar Bacon to share and wanted to add an order of Holey Donuts but was told they were out! Our food arrived in about ten minutes and, once I let my camera eat first, we began to try our choices. I have to say that Million Dollar Bacon (aka Pig Candy) lives up to its name; thankfully there was a tremendous discount while we were there to only $4.99...ask for the discount. Everything was satisfying and the Chickichanga met my expectations for taste and was quite filling. My wife also enjoyed her dish that was also filling and some to take home. And the Breakfast Tacos were also a hit. Service was attentive and friendly and checked on us just enough to make our visit very pleasant.
