    Beet Salad
    Ainsley E.

Can't fault this place for much. There was decent seating available at noon on a Thursday, but I had made a reservation. The breakfast and lunch menus were both available at that time. I wish they had a matcha or chai tea option, and some N/A cocktails or some more crunchy drink options, so I just had water. My BLT was good, nothing to write home about but the ciabatta was a nice texture and soaked up the aioli nicely. The fries were QUITE GOOD. They should offer an aioli or type of dip with them. My friend enjoyed her beet salad. It was quite large and looked very fresh. I'm not sure why our server seemed so keen to turn over our table since the place has emptied out. Maybe her shift was over? It was quite odd though because she came over several times to see if we needed anything (we were fine, chatting) then immediately whipped out the credit card machine so I could pay. Then we felt like we needed to leave? This was my main complaint, I suppose.

    Spinach & Smoked Salmon Wrap

I have mixed feelings about Teuta. My girlfriends and I went out for brunch and were sat immediately. I ordered and thought nothing of it. Come to find out that the smoked salmon wrap ($17) that I got was tiny. I even asked the server beforehand whether it would be enough food since no sides came with it. I was really disappointed, and the wrap was just alright. The space, though cute and well lit, was also REALLY loud. It doesn't seem like the space is well soundproofed and we couldn't hear each other very well. That being said all the other girls enjoyed their meals and we had a good time overall. Would try it again when it's not peak mealtimes.

Florentine Benedict & Kale, sweet potato skillet & cappuccino

Teuta was absolutely wonderful! I had the Eggs Benedict Florentine and the kale sweet potato skillet--both were delicious and beautifully prepared. The food was fresh and all made from scratch, we also enjoyed a cappuccino, which was excellent. The atmosphere was warm and inviting, making it a perfect place to relax and enjoy a meal. The booth was so cozy, the chairs are comfortable and very pretty. The waitstaff truly stood out--friendly, welcoming, attentive, and outstanding all around. Everything about this experience was top-notch. I can't wait to come back!

Tried for first time for breakfast with a friend and it was great spot! Cappuccino was HOT instead of luke warm like most restaurants. Beautiful window seating. Server was great and fast. The food was delicious! My friend enjoyed their peach pancakes and we both tried brisket dishes. DELICIOUS. Downtown parking can be tricky especially with construction. Plan ahead if not familiar with parking options.

I stopped by for Birminghamburger Month and ended up loving it. It's technically a brunch spot, but this burger... yeah, this burger could stand on its own. Super flavorful, cooked perfect, and that egg on top just sealed the deal.

Breakfast dreams do come true! Great service and Baked Peaches & Cream -- warm, caramelized peaches with a cream drizzle -- you get to pair it with your choice of pancakes, French toast, or a waffle. Of course, I went for the waffle.

This place is a gem. The Baked Peaches and Cream over a Waffle is to die for. It is a must. The Beef Bacon was cooked perfectly and the Coffee was very good.

The food and coffee were really good. I tried the corn beef which was sautéed with onions and bell peppers. It was on top of a bed of potatoes. It was delicious. The aesthetic of the place was super cute and trendy. A little downfall the hostess wasn't too friendly though. I knew my friend was there at a table but when I told the hostess, she told me " I don't think so".. so that was a little rude.

A lovely, upscale spot in the heart of town with plenty of people-watching. The menu offers great selections with fresh, delicious ingredients. Service is quick and professional, and the space is clean and well-kept.

My matcha latte was pretty mid -- not a coffee shop so I wouldn't necessarily expect anything incredible but it could have been hotter, at least. The frittata was very good and a generous portion -- I took part of it home for later. The pistachio pesto sauce really adds to it. I'd return to try more of their brunch menu (or others) without complaint -- why not!?

I do want to start with some thoughts before I give the highlights. We were charged a percent for using a credit card. I cannot speak to the in-person menu, but I combed the online menu and it did not mention that. We were also charged for ranch. Most places do not do that, and we were not informed there would be an upcharge. Most places allow you a sauce to go with fries. Also, for my meal, there is an image of an extra sauce which it did not come with, but we were charged for two small portions of ranch. Last, the server was just okay. I always enthusiastically ask questions to get to know more about a place. I asked if they had any other fruity drinks. She pointed to the drink menu and indicated just the Paloma. I said, but you have a full bar, this is the only fruity drink you make? She did not want to ask the bar, but I asked her to. The bar apparently only came up with one other drink idea, which I ended up getting two drinks listed on the menu (both very good) but it seemed like work for her to go out of her way to inquire. I also bet they could have made many fruity drinks, like maybe a Mai Tai, or some equivalent. Oh well. On the other hand, the Paloma was actually very good. It was a quality Paloma and I do recommend. Their other drink was seasonal with lavender, also a very nice drink. Most of the other places, like Honcho, I have no problem with getting a variety of drinks or inquiring about them, and the bar tender here did a great job. I came here because I was targeted by an ad on Instagram. This place was not on my radar, but since they created a meal (Steak-frites) very similar to Le Relais in Paris and New York, etc... I wanted to try it. It came with bottomless parm fries. The fries were crispy, savory, and delightful. The steak was super well cooked and was like butter. You did not even need a knife, it cut with a fork. Since I love next day leftovers, the steak was still super delicious and tender the next day. It was still like butter and cut with a fork. I would absolutely come back for that and bring the rest of my family. We also tried the tri-tip sandwich. We were told the bread was made fresh. I thought it was very good and very tender. My husband would have liked an au jus or horseradish sauce. He would try the hamburger next, but I would love another steak-frites, like right now! We were sad the coffee and pastry section closed early. In the past, at Honcho, we would get coffee and pastry after dinner since their coffee tends to be really good and quality. I would consider coming for brunch to try some. We talked to a gentleman who was part of the business as he was working hard. He was very kind and knowledgeable and took the time to hear our thoughts. I told him I was here for the steak. He thought I had a "but". I did not, it was great and I hope they can maintain that price point and the second serving of fries, because that was my main reason for visiting. He let us know the menu recently changed. I am not able to compare since this was my first time, but I liked that they had a steak dinner and pizza. If we come back my oldest loves this group's pizza, she gets it at Vinsetta, and this one looked very good.

The…read morequality and consistency are great, though I honestly think the meat would shine even more as a traditional 1/4 or 1/2 pound patty rather than a smash burger. A thicker cut would really let you taste the high-quality flavor of the beef. If you're going to order, here are a few pro tips: Get the sauce on the side: It's an excellent sauce, but you are much better off dipping. Otherwise, the burger will totally get drenched and lose the meat flavor profile. The bacon situation: They smash little bits of bacon directly into the patty. You can barely taste it this way, and it would be significantly better just served as traditional strips on top. So I would prob get it without next time. The Tallow Fries: These have huge potential, but unfortunately, mine arrived pretty soggy via delivery. I should have thrown them in the air fryer to crisp them back up, as I know they would be amazing fresh out of the fryer dripping in tallow. And they would have worked much better as larger almost steak cut fries to let the tallow flavor shine more. However as i ate them, i would still choose cajun 5 guys fries well done over them. My order for a burger and fries came to almost $40 (including tip) through their delivery service. Is it worth that price point for a delivery order? Probably not. However, the core ingredients are so good that I definitely plan to visit the restaurant in person so I can experience the food fresh and at its best.

I've gotten my Thanksgiving turkey from here. They often have yummy soups (especially the chorizo chowder). All of the being said, I was EXTREMELY DISAPPOINTED today. Today it was on the hard ciabatta roll. The turkey was just slices slapped on the bread when it used to be kind of shredded. There was no spicy giardenera.. The brie was just some sort of melted brie slices when before it was a brie fondue sauce. I wanted to cry. This is the quickest way to lose customers.. changing what's tried and true

The exterior and the interior are top-notch and it is definitely a place to dress incredibly nice and show off your skill in ordering bougie cocktails and high-end spirits. My bf, his mom, and I were treated to dinner here in June 2026 by my boyfriend's uncle, who lives a couple blocks away and goes here regularly. After deciding on just sticking with water for our drinks, we ordered the artisan garlic bread ($8) to split between the four of us. I must be a bread obsessive person because I LOVED this version of garlic bread - it is very different than the Texas Toast frozen brand you buy at the supermarkets, just FYI. The bread is super crusty and the sauce is barely garlic-y. I was stuck on ordering myself the maple seasoned sweet potato waffle fries ($9) no matter what, so to offset allllllll the calories I have already had earlier in the day (as well as with the garlic bread and fries), I ordered the Sicilian Caesar salad ($14) with blackened chicken added on ($12). For $26, this was one very basic chicken Caesar salad for how dang expensive it was. But I guess I was trying to be healthy in a gastropub, so that's on me. The others ordered fish and chips ($29), bangers and mash ($30), and the grilled salmon bowl ($32). I know that the prices are high to match the clientele in this high earning Michigan community, but I still think the prices are just all-around way too high. Perhaps the fish and chips alone was worth the price out of the four mains. I tasted the fish and it was perfectly fried and the portion of fish and fries were generous. By this point, we were full and skipped dessert although they had a nice selection on their menu. The service was professional and prompt, despite the place being packed. I didn't pay the bill, fortunately, but I don't think the mains are worth the price. If in the area, I would love to come back for a happy hour and get a cocktail and eat more waffle fries and artisan garlic bread! Perhaps on a day when I am carbo-loading haha.

I had the BHP Crunchy Friatta (their take on a frittata). It was delicious, but those Hungarian peppers were SPICY!! I had the Strawberries & cream for dessert (from the brunch menu). They literally brought me a bowl of strawberries and cream, so I told the waiter it was supposed to have granola, which he didn't know.
