If you want fast service and a really good breakfast, this is the place. We're always amazed at how quickly they bring the food out -- no matter how busy they are, it's usually on the table within 5-10 minutes. The skillets are hands down the best in town, and my personal favorite is the Mediterranean scramble. It's a small spot, so lines can get long, but the wait is absolutely worth it. They flip tables quickly, so the line always moves faster than it looks. read more

Food was great. Service was wonderful. Skillet breakfasts were the best. Waitstaff was Great

This place was pretty good! A small country style breakfast spot, with friendly service and a nice local atmosphere. The service was friendly and fast. The Skillet We ordered was delicious "Hobo Skillet" Corned Beef Hash, cheddar cheese, 3 eggs and a biscuit. We added a side of gravy, because who doesn't like biscuits and gravy? The skillet itself was plenty of food, the gravy was gravy but nothing special, the biscuit also was just so so. read more

Enjoyed a nice breakfast at the Early Bird. It was busy on a Sunday morning but we got in relatively quickly. Service was great given the busy and small restaurant. Our much needed coffee was always full. I had the Traveller Special with two pancakes, two eggs over medium and two strips of bacon. The bacon was more overdone than I prefer but the rest was very good. My wife had the Florentine Benedict special and some Challah french toast. The French toast lacked the sweetness one expects from challah but it was still fine. We took most of the French toast home as we intended. It was a good meal and much appreciated. read more

Awesome little spot. Great breakfast diner food and friendly staff. I think we waited less than five minutes for our food. Will return to feast. read more

I have been here 3 times. I've had an omellette, crepes and a basic breakfast (eggs, toast, hash browns). They've all been nicely cooked. The coffee was good. The whipped cream on the crepes was made in house & was perfect. They were very, very busy, but the service was still good. As for the ambiance, they have a collection of rooster 'art' which is fun and lots of windows, so it's full of light. They also have several tables for outdoor patio seating. The only thing I didn't like was the air conditioning made it rather cold for me. read more

Enjoyed brunch with friends outside today. They rave about early bird but this was my first time trying it. The service was good, even though they were very busy. I suspect on weekends that they always are -- so they know how to handle it. I shared a skillet with my friend - and it was very good. And for me, the perfect sharing size. Solid breakfast spot! read more

Amazing food and service. There is a wait most weekends but it's well worth it. Love the coffee

Food was better than average, service was good, and it's a quaint place. We sat near the kitchen and there were some fruit flies, which was concerning. I've eaten here multiple times and would go back. Better than the typical breakfast joints around here. read more

I love the people and they always have great food it was fun to go with another he wanted find out what I takeo am understanding I l.

All of the above! Great food (pecan waffle); excellent coffee with many refills; freshly made orange juice! Great service-everyone is friendly and always ready to bring more! Nice ambiance-everyday is a beautiful day at Early Bird. Sweet rooster knickknacks, folk art. This place is one of my favorites. read more

Often has a wait to dine in but the food's delicious flavors and consistency make the wait worth it. Arrive at not peak times to help get you in and out but when you're hungry it doesn't matter. The staff are good and turnover of the tables isn't bad. A local favorite for obvious reasons. read more

Early Bird Cafe is one of those businesses that has been around a long time and has developed a long list of loyal cliental based on the quality of their food, reasonable prices and friendly wait staff. This is a breakfast/Lunch centric business where they open early (7am) and close at 3pm. Early Bird Cafe breakfast menu has a nice variety and includes specialty items, nice choice of omelettes, cereal/otmeal, skillet breakfasts, Grilled items and a nice selection of sides. The luncheon menu is equally diverse and includes a nice assortment sandwiches, Soups and salad options. In general the food is always well made and tasty with accompanying prompt service. Big Things to note about this business is that it is relatively small and due to its popularity it is quite common to see people waiting in line to get seated especially on the weekends. Surprisingly even on week days this place can fill up by 8am for breakfasts. The other thing of note that I find important being a cost conscious retiree is that they have pocket friendly weekday breakfast specials where my Classic Breakfast (2 eggs, 4 slices of thick cut bacon, Potatoes and toast) cost only $6.50. This is a great deal that you cant touch in most restaurants in the area, especially ones with the quality of the food they serve. In part I believe it is these breakfast specials that lead to this place filling quickly on weekday mornings as you will see other retiree's scattered about enjoying their breakfast in the 7 to 8am timeslot. Overall one of the better sit-down breakfast joints in the area and one you should check out if you are in the area. read more

This is a nice little breakfast cafe with delicious food and a friendly staff. We like to order their skillets, which come out hot and fresh on an iron skillet. Whenever we go, I know that our dining experience will be great and that we'll be in and out in less than hour because of how quickly they bring the food out. The staff checks on us regularly, offers coffee and tea refills, brings extra napkins without having to ask, and even offers a coffee to go if you ordered one while dining. Overall, a wonderful experience! read more

This is the 2nd or 3rd time we dined at this breakfast place and there is always a waiting line regardless how early you think you are coming for breakfast. Ordered the traveler's special with scrambled eggs, sausage and pancake. Also ordered the corned beef hash and French toast. Liked the sausage. The service was fast. Coffee refill is constant. Plenty of jam and sugar on the table. Restroom available. Dining area ample. I find the food to be ok. A touch of salt and pepper will help enhance the flavor. Looking around there are a lot of regular diners. So it's worth a try. read more

Fly & gnat issue if you sit in the booth right by the kitchen. Too distracting. Won't return.

Excellent service and fun active ambiance. The food is good and consistent. It gets cold if you're near the AC, bring a sweater. They also are open to making it the way you need for food sensitivities. read more

This place always hits. Expect to wait at least 20 minutes but it is definitely worth it. They have the best skillets, the crepe was ok it was supposed to be nutella but there wasn't any in it. read more

My favorite place to go. My boyfriend and I have been coming here for a couple years and we are never EVER disappointed. While the line outside can seem daunting, the staff turns tables like crazy. Never had to wait more than 20 minutes. Everyone is so polite, the food is fantastic, and it is inexpensive. Love this place and the homey feels it has. My mother loves to go with me some times and it's becoming her favorite place to go as well! From the food, to the service and waitstaff, you won't be disappointed in choosing Early Bird. read more

Super small place - attracts a lot of locals! Food was great! Service was goodI do wish they had alcohol (mimosas) but other than that, great place to go as long as you're not in too much of a hurry during their busy hours read more

I was seated promptly. Menu and water arrived promptly. I inquired if the hash is homemade or store bought. Waitress said homemade, so I ordered the hash & egg skillet. The food arrived after a reasonable wait. Hot food hot, cold food cold. The hash? It was a dud - bland, bland, bland. If you like hash; visit Ellen's, Monty's or Leeza's. read more

The food here is really good, the place is a little small but worth it. They have a great corned beef sandwich.

Wife and I LOVE this place. Our go-to early breakfast, served with a smile and decent banter, all the salt. pepper, other toppings on each table. Coffee always to my liking, and never-ending. NO issue with price or service or quantity of food. Great value for the money. ALWAYS check the board for daily specials, as they let the cooks stretch beyond the ordinary, and that is where I really enjoy more than my wife does. Skillets, omelets, scrambles, and oh yeah, pancakes with real maple syrup that you have to ask for, to die for. read more

Food is good every time. Staff is nice and helpful. The place is small so it gets crowded. All in all a good place for breakfast.

Absolutely adore this place! The food is fantastic, and the service is speedy. We're regulars, visiting at least once a week, and it never gets old. read more

The service can be hit or miss. Abby (CRABBY) as my family refers to her, is the worst! Often moody and short with customers. She also often forgets orders and specifics/details of an order. Dawn is the best and always gets your order right. Most breakfast come with hash brown or cubed potatoes. We have often tasted or smelled the aroma of a spoiled or rotten potato having been mixed into our dish. They quickly replace our order but it has happened too often. 1 Star - Inconsistent service and food quality read more

The what special was good for 6.50. Coffee was a bit on the pricey side. All in all decent food, but total came to over 10 dollars. This is definitely a hole in the wall place. People seemed friendly. Small N amount of seating. Might go back, but can get better for similar price elsewhere. read more

Since I'm on this side of town for the weekend, I wanted to grab a quick breakfast close to my friends house that wasn't a coney. There's tons of options, but this one appealed to me. It was small, quaint and seems to have a nice regular crowd to it. The place isn't huge, but spacey enough. Great breakfast and lunch options, with reasonable prices. I went with the salami and eggs, which actually was really really good. It came with hash browns, which were good, but a bit dry. They were way better than coney island hash browns, but not the best that I've had in awhile. My waitress was a pro, and running the place by herself. She was super attentive, friendly and took care of business. Overall, it's a great little place to have breakfast that isn't a coney. Go check it out. read more

Every time I have been here I have not been disappointed! The food is delicious, but the service really shines! I used to think you can't ruin breakfast, but eat at Leo's Coney Island and you might agree with me that you can ruin breakfast! So I say that the service really shines, that is becasue the order you make is the order you get. Well done bacon is well done. Crispy hashbrowns are crispy! The servers are friendly, attentive and quick! I think yelp woud also like me to mention ambiance. It is a classic clean dinner with many booths and some outdoor seating. All the cute kitchy chicken/roosters decor is fun. If you're looking for breakfast forgettabout Leo's and eat here! One more thing...the orange juice! It taste fresh squeezed! Order one glass for the table, it's huge! read more
