Fancy grill/pub food. We had the breakfast sliders and breakfast tacos and both were good. Both indoor and outdoor seating. Street parking, paid, and nearby paid city parking garage. Staff was great, fast and friendly. They said they had been open since December. Everything is very clean, new, and bright. They do have mock tails. Food is consistently very good and comes out hot. Menu has great options, and they pour Lavazza coffee, not the cheap stuff. Sometimes things work out and then they don't work out. We arrived about quarter after noon and it was really busy. The hostess said that it would be an hour long wait and asked if we wanted to wait. We let her know that we did not want to wait but we stood aside looking for another location on our phone to go to. She then came back to tell us that a table of six had just left and they could have the table ready for us in 10 minutes. We were so stoked. She got us our waters pretty quickly, but our orders took a few minutes and then it was all downhill from there. I watch probably 4 to 6 tables that were seated after us already get their food and probably within a half an hour. it took us probably an hour to get our food. Mine actually came last because she thought that my order was something else and so the whole table had finished eating and had to wait for me. I was so hungry that I was eating off of my mom's plate and had some of her fries which were not that great so I felt like I was wasting empty calories eating something that wasn't super enjoyable. My Royal salmon plate was OK. I think I could've made something just as good or better myself. I probably could've just done everyone a favor and left after my family had finished eating and just cancel my order and picked up some fast food place. It was all just really frustrating. I was quite angry, but I knew it was pointless to display it. Needless to say, I will not be coming back nor would I recommend it. read more

We were greeted by the owner as we entered, which is always a nice touch. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the service was efficient. The honeycomb lights are way too harsh of a bright light if you look out at the dining area at all. Would be better if they were soft white to match their Order here lit signs. No Green tea here. :( Ordered black coffee, side of Fruit, French toast club with turkey bacon and turkey sausage, a croissant sandwich with turkey sausage, over hard egg, turkey bacon, pepper jack, romaine and tomato too, house green salad and half order of the cinnamon swirl French toast. Kudos for having a turkey bacon and turkey sausage as options. They give you a cash option, they charge you for using a CC. The stuffed French roast and cinnamon swirl French toast sounded good as well, but I think we ordered enough food this morning. They do have Delight brand coffee creamers, may not be in your condiment bowl, do ask for them. The Coffee Mate and the French Vanilla GF brand is what was in our cup at the table. The side green salad was just average. It had some wilted old red lettuce leaves. The dressing is a super sweet, maybe a bottled Italian dressing, it is not for me. Side fruit is okay. The blueberries and raspberries are a bit mature. The build my own square croissant was yummy. I did put some side of chipotle mayo on it, made it much better and flavorful. The square croissant is different for sure. The cinnamon swirl French toast was quite good. The brioche makes any French toast better. The service here is really good. The team works collectively with each table. Customer service is tops here. Management / owners are focused on what they can work on since they are still new. read more

I was beyond impressed with the customer service provided at Royal Eats! My server, Xhulio, provided excellent service and asked me if I had any questions about the menu since I had never been there before. For my beverage, I ordered the iced vanilla latte and WOW it exceeded my expectations. It was very delicious and I loved the mason jar glass that it came in. For my meal, I ordered the Hash Bash Skillet that had crispy potatoes, cheese, corned beef, green pepper, and egg. It was paired with a side of toast and jam (I chose rye). It was very flavorful and the portion sizes were large. Both Xhulio and the chef came over to ask if I was enjoying my meal, which I thought was very kind. Had a nice breakfast at Royal Eats with friends. We went on a weekday, and had great service - only a few tables in use - at 8:00 AM. Can get coffee, cappuccino, lattes, mocktails, or soft drinks. Many choices of pancakes, waffles, or French toast. For main meals - they have wraps, avocado toast, breakfast burritos, smoked salmon (lox), breakfast tacos, and about 8 different types of omelettes. Servings are large - good for brunch. Most dishes are hearty; yet can get low-fat veggie stuff as well. Prices for breakfast/brunch are generally in the $15-$20 range. You will need to find street parking or use a local garage. I stopped by this recently opened establishment on a late-afternoon weekday and was seated immediately in the sparsely filled restaurant. I enjoyed a very flavorful cup of chicken noodle soup for an appetizer and the social burger with a wonderfully displayed brioche bun. My dessert was a chocolate shake that, unfortunately, was small for the price, thin, and missing the cherry. Low/high-top, booth, and bar seating. Very clean with excellent service. Credit card fee. My wife and I stopped in for breakfast. I hadn't eaten for a day due to a medical procedure so I was hungry! Let me tell you, the food did not disappoint. It was a cold Thursday morning so the place wasn't crowded but it is very nice inside with some booths as well as tables and a bar area. We were seated and had a coffee in no time. I went with my family to try it, service wasn't great but that's not why I'm writing the review. We received our check and were up charged $4 for a side that was supposed to be included on the menu. I would have thought it was an accident but two other tables around me were complaining about being up charged as well. I can't help but feel like they are purposely scamming people. Also, we ordered oat milk with our latte and were charged an extra $3 we didn't receive a warning and the price of the up charge wasn't included anywhere. There were a couple of other ridiculous up charges with zero warning. I will never go back to this establishment. We've eaten at Royal Eats several times. The food was always delicious and the service great. Today's experience was extremely frustrating to say the least. A server walked past us 3 times and didn't acknowledge us. We were finally given menus by a different server. She told us she would bring us water. After waiting 5 minutes, someone else finally brought us water. We waited again. A different server took our order and apologized for the wait because they were short staffed. Our food finally arrived. My husband asked for ketchup. It was never brought to our table. I got up and got it myself. I ordered the eggs benedict which I paid $16.00 for. My eggs were hard boiled and I was surprised my meal didn't come with any type of potatoes. I did not send my breakfast back. I wasn't willing to wait. We also placed an ordered an order to go. Here are a couple of notes for management and staff: Acknowledge that you saw us sit down. Tell us you'll be right with us. Drop off menus and water. Don't make excuses. The servers should never complain in the dining area when customers express their disappointments that it took a long time for service and food. Other customers can hear you. I heard you! The food was great! This spot is really under rated. I had the Morning Melt! The first bite was more than I could have asked for. The potatoes were cooked perfectly with a slight crunch and the hollandaise sauce was perfect. The place wasn't too crowded parking was easy and staff were nice as well. We decided to try a new spot for Sunday breakfast and customer service was good and coffee as well. However I got SO frustrated with this French toast "stuffed with cream cheese filling" that I had to come here and vent my deception. You know, when you wait 30/40 minutes to get your food (because this place is apparently busy) and you're already starving. Still, okay because the French toast sounds really yummy and worth the wait -- but then they gave me 2 pieces of brioche with whipped cream on the top and this is not filled at all -- it's like someone just smeared a tiny bit, like butter on bread! I couldn't eat because I was literally eating bread with maple syrup like???? My face said it all and the waitress knew something was wrong but didn't come back to ask if everything was tasting good and we ended up just asking for the bill and I'm still hungry in this exact moment and going somewhere to grab something to eat. It was very, very, disappointing and I don't think I want to give them another shot. So my advice is if you also want the stuffed French toast make sure to ask them you really want the filling inside, cause I had many French toasts stuffed before and they had cream cheese in, it wasn't dried and bland. read more

The best thing about this place is the waitstaff. Very disappointed with every dish we got. To start with, the discord crepes were hard --I'm not even sure they were freshly made. Likely came out of a package and reheated. We left 2/3 of them on the plate. The breakfast sandwich--guacamole spread (was supposed to be avocado) tasted spoiled and the cheese was not even melted. Bread was toasted but not hot. Very odd. I will not be coming back as there are so many better quality breakfast restaurants in the area. read more
