This is my fav and ideal location - let's start there, but my most recent encounter 2 days ago was dreadful. The horrible experience was not even warranted and was filled with over talking me as the customer and a back and forth dialogue that resulted in me ordering the exact item I came to buy, but was told by the employee they no longer made, even though it was listed ON THE MENU. I have been ordering this hummus + beet salad for years, so far back to the original salad before the dressing was changed to the berry vinaigrette. I came to order two of these salads and Dimmer (smoothie I order almost exclusively), and all was well until the cashier was told AFTER ringing me up that Beyond no longer made the hummus + beet salad! Bummed, I take a moment to decide if I wanted something else or leave, and then the confusion begins. I state the salad is listed on the menu, so if it is discontinued why is it still available for order. The cashier was clueless taking order from her coworker, and this woman starts telling me the salad is gone and mentions a Greek salad, peppers, all of this frivolous info; and I begin telling her I ordered the salad in September...shes asks me "September of 2024? Or this year?" I found this conversation very unprofessional and it served no purpose, only for her to tell me I can BUILD THE SALAD that I want and they have ALL of the ingredients of said salad. In the end, I ordered the EXACT salad listed on the menu, so I am still bewildered as to why your employee was telling me about discontinued salads, ingredients and info that did not pertain to my order at that moment! I left frustrated as a loyal customer (HORRIBLE customer service), and now have to contemplate bypassing this convenient location to travel elsewhere when I want Beyond. To add insult, I asked the cashier for Balsamic dressing instead of the berry, and of course my two salads had the wrong dressing. I tasted the dressing to ensure I was correct (as to avoid another poor encounter with this staff) but ended up requesting the dressing I asked for. Do you know the young lady asked me to give her back the dressing packaged in my salads??? I tell her that I dipped my finger in the dressing and stood there waiting for her to correct my request, and another customer even told her "just give her the dressing!" Might I add that she was careless in giving me only 1 Balsamic and some other dressing, so I had to bring THIS to her attention too. All I am thinking is cross contamination and the young lady putting my wrong dressing back into the fridge (mind you my fingers would have touched the container that would be put into someone else's order). Trying to do the right thing after our workout, my friend and I stopped here for a salad. What a great choice! They have a build your own salad option that is amazing - choose your greens (romaine, spinach and/or kale), a protein, and 5 toppings from a number of options. I chose cheese, beets, tomatoes, cucumbers, and red onion. The result was an amazing salad. The staff was friendly. Got peanut butter mocha. I was recommended this as my go-to is the Columbian. However I did not like the taste too much. I think I prefer the yogurty taste of the columbian plus the kick of the coffee rather than the addition of peanut butter and oats. This place is around the corner from my office. I have been coming here since 2017. It's a great place for juices, wraps and salads. The servings are huge. They use fresh ingredients, so you pay for what you get. Totally worth it for a nice treat though. They get very busy and most of their business seems to be through door dash. It seemed like the employees were working hard for the most part, I'm not sure if it is just the system they have in place, but it seems very inefficient. There is a juice concoction for every health concern or need. They carry bottled juices that one can take home for a proper detox. I ordered a carryout of an avocado turkey wrap. I was well-pleased. The wrap was fresh and very tasty. It contained the right portion of ingredients, each bite was yummy. The wrap is so addictive. I could eat one daily and not grow tired of it. Wish I come here every day and there's a new young lady working there with a terrible attitude I asked can I get the smoothie made like I always get it she said, and how was that I said extra thick And blended well. There was a shit load of attitude because I came back in the store because it was like a regular juice too loose for a smoothie so I asked, could I have more ice added added to it and re-blend it or just remade she started slamming things down and I asked her did I and she even got more piss so I had to really bite my bottom lip and think as a grown adult to just locate corporate or actually try to talk to owner I have met him a few times so be careful up there because the attitude is real funky. My favorite smoothie before work is the Columbian, think vanilla milkshake meets your favorite coffee! Also notable are the Total Energy Plus and the Ultimate Buzz (complete with bee pollen, yum!). They have many salads including some seasonal favorites, but I like to "build my own" which comes with your choice of base and five toppings! They aren't cheap, however, they do offer a rewards program that you can link to your debit card so that you earn points with every purchase. Terrible customer service! Walked in and wasn't greeted or acknowledged by any of the four employees. It wasn't until I said hello that someone asked could they help me. I told one employee that I was here for a pickup order and told her my name and she said it wasn't ready. After waiting an additional 15 minutes (mind you I ordered via Door Dash pickup order 30 min prior), I asked was it ready yet and then she proceeded to give me my order. Therefore My order was ready the entire time! Then she very rudely told me "don't order on Door Dash" as if the delay/her not knowing that it was already prepared was my fault. I have to say the flavor was really good, 10x better than Tropical Smoothie Cafe, which to me seems watered down. I've been to the Birmingham location before, but I prefer the Southfield location because 1) they have their own parking lot so you don't have to deal with parking garages or street parking, 2) it's closer to my house and office, and 3) it feels bigger and less congested than the Birmingham store. They offer a gluten free wrap which tastes delicious! It's a $2 extra charge, but I'm glad they offer a GF option. My favorite wrap is the Spicy Griego (vegetarian). Lots of good-for-you veggies, and the hummus adds a nice creamy texture. It's served warm. I also like the Carlo's Detox smoothie. It has spinach and kale, so you get your greens in, but it doesn't taste like you're eating grass. My only gripe is that it is pricey. Nearly $20 for one GF wrap and smoothie, so it's definitely a "treat myself" type of place. But I always feel great and healthy after eating at Beyond Juice! read more

I come here almost every time I'm in the area. I've been to 3 of the locations and I've had a good experience at them all. I usually get a smoothie with pea protein. I like that they do not skimp on the spinach and kale. They've allowed me to make omissions in the smoothie (ex: no honey) which is nice. The stores are usually staffed with teenagers or young adults, but I've always received great service. It's also very clean and welcoming. read more
