Jagged Fork is a breakfast and lunch spot with six locations across Southeast Michigan. It offers a variety of staple menu items, and is also known for its seasonal specials. Lattes: The bonfire latte (special) had a strong espresso flavor, but it became sweeter as the marshmallows melted. I enjoyed this more than the lavender iced latte (special), though that ultimately came down to personal preference. Savory Breakfast Options: The triple triple omelette (regular menu item) is one of my favorite local omelettes, featuring three meats and three cheeses. The components of the sweet potato and pork belly hash (special) complimented each other nicely. It was served with house-made salsa verde and hot sauce. Sweet Breakfast Options: The campfire s'mores French toast (regular menu item) was rich and filling. The chicken and French toast (special) featured double-battered chicken tenders alongside Captain Crunch-encrusted challah French toast. Between the two, I preferred the chicken and French toast. The cinnamon swirl pancakes (regular menu item) are a classic dish here, and can be ordered as an entrée or a smaller side. Lunch Options: The birria tacos (special) were tasty, but a bit spicier than expected. Similarly, the Nashville hot chicken sandwich (special) definitely packed some heat. The chicken was sauced rather than coated in a dry rub. While I'm typically not a fan of chicken sandwiches that feature tenders instead of fillets, the size and quality of the tenders made this one work. The fries it came with had a fluffy interior and were lightly seasoned. Jagged Fork's variety and consistency over the years has kept me coming back. I often opt for the specials, but that's not a knock on the regular menu items. I'll be back to try more of the house favorites and new seasonal specials. read more

This place has been on my list of places to try for a long time and finally I went to go try it. I am so disappointed with myself for not going any sooner. I absolutely love this place! Everything we tried was delicious. The pancakes were a standout for sure and were very fluffy. The service was great, clean atmosphere. I informed our server that this was our first time here and wasn't sure about what to get. She eagerly provided a rundown of the menu and some of her favorites. And if you have a hard time deciding between sweet or savory, add on a mini stack of pancakes. Morgan, my server, recommended the Cinnamon Swirl and let me tell you I devoured these so quickly I neglected to take a picture. I had a chance to chat with the owner, Frank, and learn a little about the background of this spot. The Jagged Fork is a great place to stop by for breakfast/lunch! It was my first time visiting and I had a good experience. Our waitress was very friendly and offered some suggestions on their menus. She was very knowledgeable in what they had to offer. My husband and I decided to share their quesadilla and verde fries. It was a good decision to share because their portion size is huge! We enjoyed it all though. The quesadillas was packed with cheese and vegetables. The verde fries came piled high with toppings. The wait was a little long since it was a weekend morning and they are a breakfast place that closes at 3. But when we visited it was more around lunch time, or else I would have tried some of the breakfast choices they had. I'd definitely love to come back and try their other items! Worst meal we've had there in all these years. Quality has gone way down. Ordered corned beef hash and it was so dry and tasted old with soggy potatoes. Then they added another side of frozen potatoes that was clearly microwaved or reheated. Not an ounce of seasoning, salt, pepper, onion, nothing!! It was part of a larger door dash order which was mostly ok besides no butter syrup for the pancakes and not enough plastic ware. But my corned beef hash only had 5 potatoes in it and the corned beef was overcooked and dried out! It was terrible! This place has gone downhill, unfortunately. Went there today and ordered the special, a short rib grilled cheese sandwich with fries. The waitress was fine, the short rib was not. The meat was tough and fatty, the bread greasy and the cheese bland. The fries were fine. After a few bites I was done . The waitress asked if I would like something else and I asked for a breakfast sandwich. She took the dish away and brought me the sandwich. It was nearly worse. Served on a cold hamburger bun with globs of ketchup, runny egg and shreds of burned bacon. The potatoes were fine, so I boxed them. When I got the bill they charged me for both dishes! I paid and gave the waitress a decent tip. Not her fault. Before leaving I asked the front staff if I could talk to the manager to address my concerns. She was ten feet away and I waited for several minutes before giving up and leaving. Incredible behavior. This used to be a wonderful place but I haven't had such a poor experience in a restaurant in ages. They need to do better. Unacceptable. read more

Went here for brunch with a friend. Parking lot was small. The restaurant was pretty busy but we were seated right away. It's decent on the inside but not as cute as other brunch places I've been. It was clean though, and that's most important. Waitress was friendly and appropriately attentive. I ordered the huevos rancheros with chorizo. It was just okay. I've definitely had better. I had a side of pancakes that was nothing special, but satisfactory. The mimosa was good! My friend said her smash burger and fries were good. My bill for the mimosa, side of pancakes, and huevos rancheros before tip came out to $38. Not sure it was really worth it to me. All in all, it won't be my first choice for a brunch spot but I wouldn't be opposed to going back if someone else wanted to. We're Jagged Fork "brunchers" for life. Absolutely love this place and realized recently that they have another location that we'll have to visit! The best part about JF is that they are consistent. Consistent with service and food - whether you're dining in or picking up to-go. The second best part about JF is their portions! They are so generous and about the only place in the US that hasn't sky rocketed their prices due to inflation. This is a gem that is hard to find and can't be duplicated (besides their other location lol). My favorite thing on their menu is the veggie omelet. I add bacon and choose feta as the cheese. It comes with hash browns and your choice of toast, fruit, or pancakes. I always choose a side of the cinnamon swirl pancakes to go with it. The omelet comes out fluffy and filled with spinach, mushrooms, onions, green pepper, tomato, feta, & bacon. The hash browns are almost always cooked to perfection (slightly crispy and soft). The cinnamon swirl pancakes are a popular choice and for good reason! The perfect amount of sweetness to complement your savory breakfast. My husband loves to create his own omelet and put chorizo, pepper jack, and cheddar cheese in it. He always gets the same thing because why change a great thing? Excellent food! We stopped in here for brunch on one of the first sunny days in awhile and enjoyed the patio. We did not have a reservation so the wait was about 25 mins at 10am on a Saturday (for reference). They have a parking lot in the rear of the building, but if that is full, there's street parking in front of the establishment. I highly recommend their cafe drinks. My iced latte was delicious and a great size. For food, we ordered the quesadilla (which was the size of my head) and a Build Your Own Omelet. JF has a quaint, clean, and welcoming atmosphere with excellent food and waitstaff is friendly and very attentive! I loved the farmers omelette which is stuffed with hash and you get a side of pancakes but I upgraded to a strawberry Nutella crepe for a little sweetness! I have been wanting to try this place for a while. Since I needed a place for brunch since my best friend and I couldn't eat onsite at the beach Ford House, I tried here. After seeing the menu online, I was so happy to see 3 my favorites, Hudson salad, eggs Benedict and Monte Christo sandwich. Just had to choose. But when we got there, the weekend menu is limited. The Monte Christo sandwich wasn't on it. But the wonderful service fixed that. Our server asked the kitchen to fix it and out it came. Different than what I was use to but in the top 3 on my list. The berry compote being spread over the top made it harder to eat unless you used a knife and fork. Next time I will ask for that on the side. It did heat up well the next day. My best friend loved what she had especially the coffee. We plan to try the location closer to where we live. But if I am over this way before 2:00 pm, I will plan to eat here again. They are busy and don't take reservations, so plan on a wait, but it is worth it. read more

Decent breakfast joint in Grosse Pointe Farms serving large portions in an old-school diner atmosphere. I ordered the House Made Corned Beef Hash served with two eggs, toast, and hash browns. The taste is standard breakfast fare, but I appreciated that not a lot of sodium was added to the meal, so even the corned beef hash did not taste overly salty. The meal was large enough that I boxed up half of my meal. A friend ordered the Greek Skillet and also had leftovers. Service was friendly. read more
