I ordered the chicken cutlet with two different sauces, the zucchini fritters, the Tuscan kale salad, the mascarpone polenta, and the Valdo sandwich. Everyone knows the chicken is awesome so o won't go into detail about it. The mascarpone polenta was creamy and flavorful. It still light and not dense which polenta can sometimes be. I'd get it again. Even though everything was delicious, the kale salad was probably my favorite. The kale was tender so it was prepped perfectly since it can be tough otherwise. I love how it was dressed. Every bite had dressing but it wasn't dripping wet. I ate half of it a few days later and it was just as tasty and fresh without being wilted at all. Great flavor and texture with the toasted breadcrumbs, pecorino cheese, and some brightness from lemon. I'd go back for the salad alone but when I do go, I'm sure we'll place another order for all the goods again.

Do not get food here under any circumstances. DO NOT. All caps for emphasis. I'd had problems with…read morethis location before. Wrong orders. Cold coffee. I had basically stopped getting food there for that reason. However, I opted to go back a couple times after avowing I wouldn't because the price was reasonable and the food tasted good. This was a mistake. About a month ago, I got a meal from this Beyond. A little over 24 hours later, I was vomiting extensively. So much so, I had to go to the hospital in the middle of the night owing to dehydration. It had all the earmarks of food-borne illness, which usually occurs 24-to-48 hours after eating something. I did some due diligence, and mostly I had been eating prepared food anyway, and there is only one plausible answer: I got my food-borne illness from Beyond. It makes sense. The staff often got orders wrong and was not on top of things. Why wouldn't that lack of attention to detail, in theory, apply to not properly washing produce? Or not washing their hands after using the restroom? I am confident the food I ate from this Beyond gave me severe food-borne illness. I reached out to Beyond about this three times. I laid out all these details as to not seem flippant about it. I felt some degree of recompense was merited. That didn't happen. I didn't even get a refund. I didn't even get a reply. So I reiterate: Do not go to this Beyond. Or, frankly, any Beyond. Nobody from Beyond was willing to step in on this, so how can you trust the brand?

I think the portions were sized great but the shawarma bowl was not too impressive compared to other options in the area. I love tabbouleh also and this one wasn't the best, it tasted like mostly mint rather than parsley and was missing the bright acidity of the lemon juice. Service was super friendly and fast though, and the loaded falafel were quite good. I'll probably come back to try another item one day.

They provided 3 different options for the tacos: 1) adobo grilled chicken, 2) beef barbacoa, and 3) chili lime cauliflower. I was fortunate to get to try all three, and surprisingly the one I liked the most was the cauliflower. My close second favorite was the chicken. Both the real meat options were good, but I would say the meat was a little more dry than I would ideally expect. For the side, we got to choose one of 3 options: rice, beans, or elote (which is a classic Mexican street food of corn on the cob charred on the grill, then slathered in a spicy and creamy chili, garlic, and Cotija cheese-spiked sauce). I went with the corn and it didn't disappoint. It had so much flavor. It was pretty awesome.
