First, the location. I had doggo with me so went through the drive through. There is signage, but you still have to look for it. Drive through is on the back side of the building. Don't be scared, it was an easy process. The hardest part was figuring out what to order! Second, Service was quick and friendly but the speaker is a bit quiet, so be sure to turn your radio down so y'all can hear each other. The price! I ordered the #1 chicken and waffles plate and added on a small ice caramel coffee for a grand total of UNDER $12. That's extremely reasonable, imo. Finally, I ordered the chicken and waffles that I'd been staring at the past few weeks. The chicken tenders were crispy, hot, and perfectly seasoned so as not to overshadow the waffles. The waffle was fresh and hot, not too sweet, and complemented the chicken and syrup. The iced caramel coffee, while sweet, didn't make me feel like I was just drinking sugar. I could still taste the coffee, and it wasn't bitter either! So, basically, don't miss a visit to Elsa's!! So yummy and a local business. Support local!!

There was a couple next to us and their server came back a few times with the wrong food and the server apologized a few times. Our server didn't make mistakes but really never came back to check on us. Overall, I was disappointed in my with my breakfast. I wish I would have just said something but I was too hungry to ask for them to make it. I've had better experiences in the past but not this day.

One person ordered three tacos, but the order was entered wrong, so they only got one to start, and they had to wait quite a while for the other two. The food was good overall, but the portions were quite small. I did like the Bourbon Street French toast, particularly the caramel sauce. It could have used more bananas though. The fried pickles were good, as were the spicy mozzarella sticks. The steak omelet's sauce was odd. The nachos were good. The coffee and lattes were good. Four people waited ahead of me, one with a family-sized order, and my wait was about seven or eight minutes. That's when I snapped the shots Being a cheapskate, I opted for the pork sandwich, jambalaya, and collards. The order was bagged and handed to me practically instantly. I turned around to face a self-serve bbq sauce bar featuring 1oz containers to fill with your choice of 5 different *homemade* sauces and three or four from sweet baby ray. I left the grocery-store stuff for the next guy and filled up on the unique ones. The jambalaya was nice spice level and flavorful with a fair amount of meat. The pork sandwich was good, except for the lump of crispy fat which was DELICIOUS!! I think I've had better collards, though these were alright. I ate my meal in their track-side picnic table pavilion. A freight went by and was quite loud. So, it was authentic whistlepig ambience. I'd do it again.
