I was looking for some good lake perch to eat & heard they have the best in town. Well, I tried it, and I agree, this place DOES have the best perch in Lansing! I highly recommend this place. It was perfectly battered, and cooked! The fillets stayed nice and firm, not floppy like some places. The price was reasonable for fish. Get yours today!

Amazing service and foood, was skeptical being from the east coast but the philly was one of the best ones I've had in a while. Loved the Greek food too! Get the saganaki!

Philly with fries & Coke only $7.99!

Stopped by after driving past this location for almost 3 years. Inside is a clean, newly remodeled bar and dining area. You walk in and place your order at the counter. Your food is brought to you at your table. I tried the classic Steakhouse Philly and took a Kronos gyro to go...both were outstanding! The Philly was flavored heavy with onions and plenty of melted cheese. The taste was fantastic, the bun was just right, the fries were a nice compliment. The fountain Coke was a great way to wash it down. The gyro was also fantastic. You can see the gyro spit as you place your order...a good sign that it's fresh! I love Lenny's cheesesteak as well. The difference between the two is that Lenny's is more about the meat, Steakhouse Philly is more about the cheese & onions. Both have unique buns and cheese. Both taste great. I would recommend this place to anyone who enjoys quality carnivorous fare and beer. I will be back to try more of the Greek fare on the menu. Kudos to the owner for this remodeled gem!

I found Big Moe's right off 127 I could have given it a 4 or 5 star. Here's what I liked * very friendly helpful staff. Might have been the owner. He explained the choices and then delivered the food. * serving sizes were much bigger than I expected. Either the small Fatoush salad or the Brisket Sandwich could have been enough for me tonight. * I liked the brisket sandwich I liked the salad but it lacked anything to have it stand out other than size for a small. We decided to give Big Moe's a try since it's the new sandwich spot in town. The team members we encountered were helpful and funny. The atmosphere is fun and family friendly. We opted for the bbq chicken ranch wrap and Philly sub. I appreciate that both breads are grilled to add that extra layer of flavor and texture to the sandwich. However, I can't say that we were overly impressed and neither me or my dining companion finished our meals or opted to take the leftovers home. For the price, the sandwiches were underwhelming, perhaps we didn't add proper sauces or something, I'm not sure. The fries however, were flavorful and crispy. I can't say that we will return, there are plenty of sandwich places in town with more flavor without needing to add sauces.

Apparently it's owned by the guys who own Lou & Harry's, and it opened in 2021. I guess I must have passed by without noticing it. I'm glad we stopped in because the food was really good. The menu specializes in cheesesteak hoagies and burgers, so I was excited to try a cheesesteak as we don't have a ton of options for them in Grand Rapids. We got the pazzo: Shaved ribeye steak, grilled onion, banana pepper, Jalapeno pepperjack cheese, pepperoni, and ranch marinara. You can upgrade to a combo which comes with fries and a drink, which we did. We got the cajun fries, but you can get waffle fries, ranch fries, or cheese fries. Our food was ready really quickly and it was super hot and fresh. The sandwich was big enough to split for a decent sized meal. There was quite a bit of meat and all the toppings worked well together. It was definitely greasy and pretty messy, and really salty - but I liked it. It's not something I could order regularly, but it was so tasty. The fries were fresh, thin cut, and the cajun seasoning was also really salty. If you're sensitive to salt - maybe avoid this spot. The bread of the sandwich got a little soggy, but it wasn't completely falling apart, which was good. This place is open late on the weekends and would be great for intoxicated or hungover college kids. They were doing quite a few Grubhub orders while we were there - I don't think I'd recommend this as delivery food as the sandwiches probably get pretty soggy if left to sit for too long. I'd come back and try more of the sandwiches.
